    Today as we were discussing transitioning Sullivan to the crib soon, DH decided that we needed a mobile, because the crib is too boring to sleep in. We did lots of research, found a ton of really cool mobiles on etsy for way more money than we were willing to spend, and the dreaded words come out of DH's mouth: "you could make that." Um, yep, your wife is a crafty ass artist, therefore anything you don't want to pay for, obviously she can pull out of her ass. So we make a plan, which involves whittling light wood rather than sewing felt plushies, cause sewing is hard, y'all. Off to Michael's (since Hobby Lobby is on the shit list) we go.

    Once there, DH discovers the lazer-cut, pre painted crafty shapes, and exclaims how perfect they are, because they are like, 80 cent a piece. Never mind they are hideous, not badass Mario Bros themed, not three dimensional, not badass handmade, oh and they are hideous. I sweetly informed him so, at which point he decides he is going to buy them anyway and make a quicker, easier, cheaper, genius mobile.

    Hours later, I have one rough mushroom shape finished. Whittling is hard, probably harder than sewing, and a terrible idea. DH, after much swearing and frustration, proudly affixed his mobile to the crib. Clearly we have more than one artist in the family:

    Agreed! That's a glaring inconsistency. I think I feel more comfortable sharing Tessa's name and face here since she is why I'm here in the first place.

    @Vinny424‌ my husband listens all the time. We were talking about Anthony's rant and DH said if you listen regularly it's no secret that he's racist and openly doesn't like black people. I just read that he got fired over the whole thing. I'm wondering what'll happen to the XM show.

    West side story is my favorite movie. Must go home and watch this!

    Pumping at work on a holiday weekend when HR is off makes me feel like I'm in boy meets world Halloween episode. How is a whole office of people off but I'm still effing here

    I wonder if there's a way for the mods to merge the 2 RTTs. Then we wouldn't have to choose, or keep up with 2 anymore.

    Hahaha no I have it's not just a southern thing. That term has been used to describe me before and my response was "well I'm fucking hilarious" I think Aprilmay is the same
    Ohhh! I get it now. I misread it. It wasn't meant to be an insult. :) I think y'all are different though.

    ETA: Not to say that y'all aren't both awesome and hilarious; I just don't think y'all are perceived the same. I think @ColleenSwerb‌ and @AprilMay9‌ are more alike. I remember in the beginning I used to think, "Gaaahhhlee! ColleenSwerb is so mean!" And now I can't remember why I ever thought that. /:)

    Nursed in public yesterday for the first time. Big move for me. I had bottles but u one boob was pretty engorged.

    Question: my boobs seem to get engorged much quicker lately and not pump out as much milk. I haven't felt any knots, but I'm curious if this means anything regarding ducts clogging?

    Finally went into the natural baby store today. Now I really wish I had stood my ground and cloth diapered. Such cute stuff! If we have a round 2 we will be using cloth for sure!
