    All the hugs @mamamonzo and all the other Mamas struggling today. We should all take the weekend off and let our SO's take care of the kids.

    I use the word league loosely but yes. It wouldn't be so bad that he goes because I always went an watches and enjoyed being outdoors. But the past two weeks it's rained so the grass is wet and the bugs are insane. No way am I bring Lucas to that mess!

    I should totally get a puppy. Then I'd be ready for when this kid is a toddler and I have LO#2. Good practice, right?

    So I was in a wedding in March and there is a whole conversation going about how most of the guests didn't put together there was a pregnant girl in the wedding party.  Um what!?  Did you just assume that was a beach ball under there?  Going to cry in a corner now...

    Yes. They teach you to do that before dunking a baby under water if you do swim classes. It makes them gasp and hold their breath. Also a way to get them to take a breath.

    Yes! I was told this too and at first I was like "what?" but now when LO goes into a silent scream/cry I'll do it and it works like a charm.

    Sitter backed out 2 hours before date night.. DH has been out of town most the month and I really really was looking forward to this break.. I'm sitting in the kitchen crying. I just wanted a couple hours.. Ugh so disappointed

    I'm going to cross post my gross vagina question from Stupid Questions Thread:

    I am 8 weeks pp and from what I can feel (I really don't want to look) I still have all of my stitches. I had a small first degree tear and a second degree tear. At my 6 week appointment, my OB said the stitches were almost gone from the first degree tear and she said she cleared out what little was left. The thing is, I can still feel what I think are two sets of stitches and they are completely intact. I know everyone is different, but shouldn't they be gone by now? Am I feeling scar tissue or something like that? I swore I read they would dissolve within a couple of weeks. If I do look down there, what should I be looking for to identify there is a problem?

    @dani+california‌ definitely will! My friends have kids but they are all way past the baby stage. I feel like I have to state that I do not reside in the south end :p

    @mrscrcalli‌ :( sorry about the sitter. Is there somewhere yummy you could go for Dinner with baby ?

    Shots scare me also. Dr surprised me and wanted to do Drake's at his appt last week but I was so not prepared and said no. He gets them on the 23rd . So making his father come and go in with him . I can't deal with stuff like that .

    I hAte when the kids have to get shots. Like @purespark‌, Owen only cried for a few seconds. DS1 screams bloody murder when they do the cold swab, and then nothing for the actual needle.
