Hair Did or Hair Done?

Okay grammar police, what is the correct term here?  Do you say you hair did or hair done when referring to hair cut/color?

I have always heard and said hair done, but recently I've been hearing hair did alot.

What is correct?  I'm sure grammatically hair did is correct, but it just sounds silly.

    I always thought hair "did" was just a joking, funny thing.

    I would say "I got my hair done" or "I did my hair."  Although, I say "I got my hair did" in a joking way sometimes.

    "I got my hair done" is proper.
    "I got my hair did" is a silly way of saying it (just for laughs).

    LMAO - I think it's Hair Done. When I say Hair Did, it sounds like, 'I got my hurr did'!

    Exactly.  Reminds me of a crank call from years ago on the radio station, where the receptionist calls someone pretending to be from the salon with a free makeover and says "when did you want to come in to have your hair did?  And will you be having your nails did as well?" LOL.  It's a running joke between me and my sisters.
