@macgrs funny, I'm the opposite, I hope he gets DH's eyes because he looks so much like my side of the family otherwise. He's like a tiny version of my older brother. I want some of DH's genes to show through!
Me too!!! He is like the red headed (have no idea where that came from) version of me!!! I really want him to look more like DH cause he is so handsome!

Owen takes a pacifier for up to about 5 minutes, and then usually ejects it and sucks on his hand. I'm not sure if trying a different brand will help since he will take this one for awhile? Am I just stuck having a hand sucker?
Hola babes

Well fuck, I don't know. Let me ask one of the crotchety sweetold ladies who keeps giving me all the unsolicited wisdom. I'll get back to you. Until then, no sleep for you!
@poru - your poor little guy! Is this still the same issue you mentioned an x-ray for a few weeks back? I hope everything comes back ok, and he finally starts feeling better!
yeah he has had a cough for over 7 weeks now. My husband thinks it's just 3 different viruses because it did start to get better and then get worse. My doctor thinks it's allergies/asthma making a virus worse. My gut is telling me he has a secondary infection or pneumonia and that he needs antibiotics. This weekend the cough came back really bad and has had a fever of 103 for 2 days. And now this tiny blood spot. I am not the kind of person who runs to the doctor at the first sign of a fever. My doctor has even chided me for coming in too late when DS was sick before. I just have this nagging feeling that won't go away. Waiting for him to wake up from his nap and DH to get home and then off to the doctor for the X-ray. In the meantime here is the cute 2 month old who finally is taking a nap (just intime for DS to wake up).
DS1 basically had a cough for 6 months due to back to back daycare sicknesses. He was treated with antibiotics 3 times since he was also getting recurring ear infections. It would go away for a few days after antibiotics and then come right back again.
I've been using Warm Vanilla Cake scented CJ's BUTTer on Owen's eyebrows. It smells so good that I keep wanting to lick his face. Luckily, I use a different scent for his bum.
I've been pregnant/breastfeeding since December 2011. I miss my quad shot lattes followed up by a pot of drip. This is on my list of PROS for not having any more kids.

Since 2011?!
I know, right?! With 2u2, I should get all the coffee in the day and then all the wine after the kids go to bed.
Uh oh... I thought caffeine didn't pass into breast milk?
Eta: not that it particularly matters for dd since she gets about 4.1 ml per nursing session (
FFMC: I had to look up ML--->OZ conversion because I had no clue if 4.1ml was a little or a lot. Metric system fail.
You ladies and your 'DH and I get to hang out when LO goes to sleep!' should teach me your ways. Quinn goes down at 8 every night and by 8:15 I'm in bed too. (Like right now!) I pop a Dramamine and drift off to Slumberland...population: ME.
Poor DH takes the Blueball Express all the way to Jerkoff City because I am way too tired these days. Ain't nobody got time for that
You're one of the smart ones! Owen has been sleeping 9 hours and I only sleep for about 5 of that because I stay up so effing long after he goes to bed. And DH also usually takes the Blueball Express anyways.

Yep, I read that BFing moms need to limit their intake to a max of 16-24 ounces.

I think there is a newer study that says you can breastfeed and drink all the coffee, but I can only find older published research. @colleenswerb were you the one who posted something about this before? Sorry if I'm making it up and it wasn't you
My kid is so dramatic. When he's fighting sleep he will make gagging noises and there is nothing in his mouth, so I shift him out of a sleeping position. Then he smiles and coos. I know they can't manipulate yet... But sometimes I wonder!!
Watching 16 and pregnant and girl has like 2 inch long fake nails! Shit is crazy. How do you wipe your ass? Wipe a baby's butt?
Is it last week's episode? That Mom (grandma) pissed me off that she wouldn't let the Dad spend more time with the baby since it was past 10:00. WTF?!
Yes that one! Poor kid. It's so rare you have a teen father step up and want to be so involved (he even offered to change diapers FFS) and your gunna step in the way. Terrible.
