Active shooter at a HS in the area.. wtf is wrong with people. So many T&P to those kids I hope no one was hurt.
I'm going to home school this kid of mine! Ugh.
Ugh...I just saw that on the local news. I am still getting over the shooting at the Clackamas mall. I get chills going in there.
This seems to be happening once a week now. Las Vegas, Seattle last week. WTF.
Omg @snmetz7 that dress!!! I'm obsessed with tiny baby dresses for W.
Do you love it? I love it! I got it at Ross. :P
I do- also- I want a Ross herrreee. We don't have them in MA! I may have gone a little crazy at H&M- their baby dresses are $5 each and have tiny bloomers. I diiie.
My 2 year old wanted to try nursing last night after his little brother was finished. When I tried to distracted him from it he threw a huge fit....he has been weaned for just over a year now.
I think I'm finally seeing some regression that I was expecting to start seeing earlier. He also wants his paci again and he hasn't used that is months.
I'm seriously afraid of this too since my toddler was only weaned for about 6 months before DS2 came. So far he doesn't act like he even remembers what it is and he has watched me do it with DS2.
@vinny424 I go to the one in Downtown Crossing, but there is a crappy one at the Cambridgeside Galleria, one at Square One Mall and one in Braintree (I think?). We should gather the Boston Mama's and have a field trip! Their baby clothes are stupid cute.
@jellysparkles - I hope she gets over her cold quickly, we've been dealing with one over here too. She also might have a clogged tear duct? DS1 used to get them often and we were just supposed to massage the inner part of his eyelid with a warm washcloth.
@aviola329 YAY! So glad to hear that it worked out- it would have been such a bummer to have lost them. Something similiar happened with our wedding photos (long story) and it was a pita to get them back.
Whose tag line on Instagram is "I found my sunshine and life is perfect?" I'm hoping it's one of you, because I just accepted it and the teeny tiny pic showed a lady with kids but too tiny for me to make out who.
On gripe water and drops: I only give them when she's screaming in pain and past the point where she's able to take my breast even though she's hungry.
Word of warning though: my ped said the gripe water may have been contributing to Josie's week of no poos. He said it's for stomach cramps associated with colic and doesn't do anything for the digestive system or gas and might have been making her more backed up. Told me to skip the gripe water and use gas drops instead. I know this advice isn't for everyone but wanted to pass on what I was told, as I totally thought gripe = gas relief based on how I heard people talking about it.

Over 100 posts to catch up on since yesterday, and I just can't do it. Emma had her 2 month check up and shots yesterday, she was a raging crack head all afternoon and into the evening, but seems to be doing much better today. She is now a whopping 10lbs 4oz and 23"
As of 11:30, school is out for summer. Wish me luck...
I haven't wanted to say anything, but for almost a week now, I have been putting Emma down for naps on the couch "hugged" by her Boppy and every day it gets longer and longer, today she's been down almost an hour and a half. Could we finally be moving past the 30 minute nap stage?? [-O<
I would like to move LO into his room but I have issues. I get seriously creeped out sleeping with our bedroom door open. I have always slept with it shut and locked, all my life. Am I the only one that is this strange? I don't know how to get over it!
I never used to sleep with the door closed until college. I actually didn't have a bedroom door most of high school. But since college I find it so hard, the only reason I can convince myself to fall asleep with it open is because I have two dogs that will hear anything going on in the house.
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...

I hate having our bedroom door open to. Do you have a monitor?

Ours has to be shut because cat. Darn cat will come in and be all cute at first, and then in the middle of the night turn into an ass and parade about the room knocking shit over. And when you try to get out of bed to grab him and remove him, he runs under the bed and jingles his collar around so you can't sleep.

This is my cat too! And then at some point in the night they want to sleep right on top of me and I hate things touching me when I'm sleeping. Door is always closed.
Hi @biggerinreallife! lovvvee all of your pictures of your beautiful girl :x
Aaaand the crib napping was short lived. I am now wearing him, or else I get a screaming fit. We'll work up to crib napping all day. One crib nap a day will have to do
Haha I've totally become one of those people who posts nothing but pictures of her kid. In my defense, I have no Facebook to AW on, and also, I have little life outside of her tiny face right now. I should post some food pics or shots of my Starbucks. You know, mix it up.

So I guess Poppy isn't coming back? Boo. I feel bad, she was nice.
Was someone mean to her?
no she kind of had a weird cbgb because other people said there were people on the board they didn't like.
Welcome back @deidremaria we missed you
Did she think she wasn't liked or was it based on morals?
I think she was a little sensitive/paranoid that someone was talking about her, but then also thought it was mean that not everybody liked everybody? At least that's what I got from it.
I updated my job interview thread, but I'm posting here too because I'm super excited!
My husband had an interview for a teaching position on Thursday, and he just got a call back saying he got the job!! <:-P \:D/ #:-S It's the first real "grown-up" job either of us have ever had. It's such a relief!

Add to that list of accomplishments: finished season two of orange is the new black. I am grossly in love with Mendez and his mustache.

@hlm184 this. Our cats=nighttime terrorists.
I'm kind of psyched about this Instagram love fest we've got going on. The more a14 babies in my feed the merrier.
