@internationalkate Thanks! My MIL is pretty cool and we've always gotten along well. I suspect she is going to have some permanent brain damage but we'll just have to wait and see how bad it is.

@emilyh107 I talked to her Friday. As of then, baby Bennett was still in the hospital and had a made a little progress. I feel so bad because all anyone can do is just keep thinking of them/praying for them

Me too! I can't even imagine. The June ladies who've had to endure hospital stays for their babies are amazing.

This is probably ridiculous but I have to ask. Can contractions feel like intense hip pain? It's different than the normal achy pain I have in my hips. It's almost a shooting, grinding pain that is usually accompanied by abdominal tightness and the feeling like I need to poop. But maybe it's just baby pressing funny on me..

I've been having back pains that aren't my normal back pains, but aren't hindering my everyday activities. So I totally get how you feel about the thinking it's ridiculous but wondering if it could be something more. I'm asking my doctor about it tomorrow though. The last week my FTM has been showing reeeeeally bad lol.

So no advice but just saying I sympathize with you! Hope you get some relief!

Still pregnant, but just had a dream that DH somehow impregnated himself. He was in the first tri and complaining he was tired. Sooooooooo damn weird!

In between late night feedings I dreamt that I was drowning and Johnny Depp was throwing newborn clothes at me from the back of a boat, and I was using the clothes to keep afloat.

Um, so, five hours of labor and fifteen minites of pushing and I have myself a baby! Total opposite of his sister. Will post my birth story when Dh gets my laptop tomorrow. Thanks for all the well wishes!!

Today is the girl's first pediatrician appt. I feel so mom - ish with my notepad of questions about vitamin drops and latching techniques. Last year during this time I'm pretty sure I was hungover in Maui. What a difference a year makes

I'm skipping out of work 30 minutes early (while I'm working from home) to go get a pedicure and my nails done. I want to look pretty in case my LO decides she's ready to meet the world. Also, I figure maybe the pedicure will kick start some contractions.
