Yeah. My dog is already pretty clingy but it's gotten 10x worse. He's always at my feet. I trip on him all the time.

Since I'm only a week postpartum I still look pregnant. I have had several random people comment or ask questions about the pregnancy. I reply with "I'm not pregnant...." and then I hesitate, watch their face as they try to hide their internal freak out, and then I continue on "....I had him last week. He's still in the NICU but should be coming home soon".

So you all have that to look forward to. I'm loving it

One of my friends had her baby yesterday and another friend is being induced today. I am super excited for them but also super jealous. I cried last night when looking at pictures. I feel like an asshole but I just want to meet my baby so bad. 21 more days. I need to get my emotions in check, I hate feeling like a crazy person!

I don't have any pets, but C has been super clingy lately.  Waking up early and screaming if I'm not the one to get her up.  All she wants is to sit right next to me all the time, if not on me.

Sometimes it's a good thing to look really pregnant and uncomfortable. Like when you need helping replacing the battery in your car. I ended up getting two people to help me. Yeah! Looking pathetic. Lol

@JujuB22‌ I would totally avoid mentioning that I already had the baby haha especially because at a week postpartum with DS I guess I still looked a out 6 months pregnant, but I felt more flabby than anything else.

That makes me so stabby when that happens.  Also, when I ask for hot sauce, and they only put 2 packets in my bag.  I use about 1/2 per BITE....what the fuck am I going to do with only 2 packets?

I love pedicures.  Totally my guilty pleasure.  Is it wrong to bring a sleeping newborn in a carseat/stroller cause mommy wants a pedi?  The last one was before he was born and my toes are looking something awful.

My dog has attachment issues.  She continues to wiggle her way onto my lap when I am holding Max.  Good thing she's little!

She's been really good so far! We brought some things home from the hospital when he was in the NICU to introduce her to his smell.  The other day she jumped up into my lap when I was holding him and started licking his toes  And I'm pretty sure last week when we had company she was a little protective over him.  I don't think she likes that I can't pay attention to her as easily as I used to, but overall I am happy with her reaction to him!

I read it last year. SOOO GOOD! I cried like a baby numerous times. I tear up at the movie previews!

I've had TFIOS on my kindle for months, I can just never get in the mood to read it because I know it's a 'sad' book, which I've never really been a fan of.  I'll get to it one day....maybe.

@Pepper6 I borrowed the book from my friend almost a year ago and hadn't read it for the same reason. It is sad, but the characters are quite funny, so I didn't really feel "down" because of the book. Hope you can get to it at some point!

@skamber I also don't know if I'll be able to watch the movie. Probably not in theaters, but maybe in my own home where I can cry as much as I please.

Yes - i read it in the first tri and cried like a baby. I thought it was really great. Excited to see the movie

There's no cause for alarm, but I'm at the hospital right now... My dad was in a car accident. Some 20-year old rear-ended him on his way home from work and he hurt his neck/back.

The scariest part is that I was on the phone with him when it happened. Scared the shit out of me!

I live close by and happened to be home with my brother so we went right down there. My bro took care of the car, I came to the hospital. We can't get in touch with my mom at all! WTF!

Worst part? Chick was texting and driving. Slammed into him (fully stopped) going about 40. Both cars totaled. What a moron.

Never a dull moment, really.

Ugh! DH was rear ended by someone while he was stopped at a stop sign (the woman spoke no English, had no license or insurance and it wasn't her car) while in a work vehicle and he got a concussion and whip lash that put him out of work for a week (he's a mechanic). The woman was texting and hit a patch of ice and slammed into him doing 40 in a 25. I really think that the "hey babe can you come pick me up from work and take me to the doctor, I just got rear ended and can't remember what exactly happened" call was one of the scariest moments I've experienced.

Hope your dad feels better soon!

Thank you @kbellizio3‌ ! Definitely super scary. And I get that accidents happen... But when they happen because people are jerks and driving while texting, it's maddening. She's lucky no one was really hurt.

On a side note, I got into a screaming match with the dispatcher when I called 911. I didn't know what # street it was, only that it was in front of CVS on Main St in Small Town USA. She couldn't help me unless I knew the number. Give me a break.

Thanks @ugabamafans! I felt so bad. He was in such a good mood, helping me get ready for my sister's bridal shower and about to go golfing. Poor guy!

Lol @wareagle1220 - I feel like it's only fair on a pregnancy board, right?

Also, not funny but kinda funny - I was at the scene before the ambulance. The EMS dude's face when he pulled up and saw a very pregnant me next to the totaled car was way too much. Poor guy looked so relieved when I told him I wasn't in the accident and he was not going to have to deliver a baby on the side of the road today.
