so derrick poops and somehow instead of staying in the back of the diaper, it found its way to the front. it was almost to the top of the diaper. in the front. how the hell does that happen?? it was so bad we took him to the shower and hosed him off. i just don't get how it happened!! lol
babys log, 5am... mommy tried to put me back in that white jail cell again after eatting. I have learned quickly since arrival that vocalizing quickly makes mommy and daddy remove me from my prision. This evening I needed to use reinforcements. Vomittijg down mommys back and onto the carpet seems to be a successful endevor. I only had to do it twice.
I obtained my goal of swinging while staring blankly at the curtians. Now, my bowels are rumblig once again, I fear the worst.
@ImnAtari For many reasons, in so many ways, you have my heart. But this? Pure awesome.

Thanks for the help! Part of it is just me being sad that I am barely keeping up with his new demands. We still have formula if needed, but I can't help but wish I was pumping 5-6oz per session instead of 3-4oz. On the bright side: look at these chubby cheeks! I parted his hair on the side and almost cried over how much he looks like a little man.
My little turd is totally the smelly kid about 80% of the time.. I just wanna snuggle my clean baby all night after a bath! I forget he can smell so sweet.
Posting this in Stupid Questions also, but thought I would get your opinions: Does this K'tan look like it is fit properly? Please disregard the stupid look on my face - Truman was screaming his head off for reasons unrelated to the carrier. Anyway, I worry this medium is too big. It is a K'tan Breeze so perhaps it will stretch slightly less, but I have no idea. Thoughts?
Looks ok to me. LO is still small so it'll probably fit tighter as he grows.
Here is Penny and I using ours. Also size medium and I find it fits her bum and legs really well but isn't that tight on her upper body and doesn't support her head because it's pretty loose. She was technically under the weight recommendation here though.... And the cradle position is pretty good. She is nice and snug in that position.
I am a tad bummed that DH has to work on our first Mother's day :-( I will be going over to my brother's to celebrate with my mom but I am sad he won't be there to celebrate as our own little family. He did buy me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and and adorable and heart melting card that he signed "Love and Eskimo Kisses, Amelia". Brought me to tears. I am going to really miss him tomorrow.
@AprilMay9 congratulations! She is beautiful! FWIW I do not think, and I'm sure everyone would agree with me, that you are a failure. Calling labor exhausting is like saying the Atlantic ocean is damp. Honestly, if someone had offered me a csection while I was mid-labor, I would have taken it. You made and birthed a person, that is no small achievement.
P.s. I'm glad your boobs work!

BFP #2 7/17/13, EDD 3/29/14 ended in a CP on 7/22/13.
BFP#3 8/19/13 EDD 5/3/14 Nerdling was born 4/29/14, welcome little one!
DH and I had a huge fight again over how much time he spends at work tonight. After screaming at me that "someone has to pay the bills and not everyone gets 12 weeks off" he said he would help more. Well dd woke up for a feed and I asked him to get up and change her while I got something to drink and some Tylenol. I walk back into our bedroom and she's sobbing, he'd snoring away. I was so mad.
I really wasn't prepared for how a new baby would effect my marriage. We haven't been affectionate towards each other in weeks.
Welcome back, @AprilMay9 ! She's perfect, and she made her entrance just like she was supposed to. Be kind to yourself, that mama guilt can be a powerful mindfuck over things we have so little control over. Happy Mother's Day, sweet lady, you have earned a holiday just in time!
@AprilMay9 - congrats and welcome back!! She is BEAUTIFUL!! I ended up in a c section, too, after 12 hours of laboring at the hospital and when I got there I was 4cm and having contractions every 3 minutes. Frustrating but a fabulous end result of a beautiful and healthy baby, so there's that!
@aviola329 - sorry you had a rough night. Big hugs to you!
@MadBloom - thanks! The hair & expression on Penny's face in the pic!! So dang cute!!
4oz what a little piggy! Apparently we should have upped his bottle days ago because from first sip to diaper change to reswaddle, it's been 30mins. And he is passed out again! Winning!
Welcome back and congrats, @AprilMay9! What a cutie. You are not a failure. Anyone who endures both labor and a c-section is a badass! By the time I got time I got to the pushing stage one of my first thoughts was "Oh God, it's too late for the section now isn't it?" (and this is from someone who really wanted her VBAC). I had an epi, but it didn't help any when it came to the pushing stage. The fact that you pushed for hours is impressive to me. I don't know if I could have endured.

OMG this is me, only with farting...seriously though it can stop any day now, before I inadvertently suffocate my family. Jesus H... When the hell did I become such a stinky windbag?!

It was so bad the first few weeks post partum because I didn't have the muscle strength to hold them in! So I was farting just about everywhere, loud man farts everywhere.
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...
Looks like it'll be a rainy first Mother's Day for me.
We're expecting 6-9 inches of SNOW! Gotta love Colorado springtime weather!
Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely ladies! My parents came over yesterday and we celebrated together then. Today DH and I are taking the kids on a fun-filled trip to the supermarket (oh boy! :-q ), but then we're going to a baby shower for some close friends of ours. She just so happens to have the same EDD that I had w/DS! Fun! I'm irrationally excited about attending because of all the amazing Indian food I will be able to consume. =P~
This does not bode well, however, for trying to get my outrageous flatulence under control. :-<

Yeah we'll see about that. I've been listening to the rain all night and it just turned to snrain (snow/rain). I love our weather- it keeps us on our toes!
And it sucks for all those people who took off their snow tires! Ha!
