My one goal today was to nap while LO napped. Unfortunately, she did not get the message and hasn't napped off the boob for more than 10 mins at a time. Grrrrrr

Just zipped up my pre pregnancy fat jeans! And my normal shorts are getting close! Two weeks ago I couldn't even come close.

Now I just need to master nursing in something other than a nursing tank and I can actually be normal again!

I can't get the hang of regular shirts. Hell, I can barely figure out a nursing tank in public without flashing someone. I wonder if I you tubed it I could figure it out. Do they even put that stuff on you tube?

Another great show is Adventure Time...if you're into cartoons. Seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix. I also binge watched Friday Night Lights while waiting for Merri to get out of my vagina. Also, if you like cartoons and/or anime, Avatar on Amazon is preeeeeeeetty awesome.

Well our photo shoot was an interesting ride! Photographer came and set up at my place. Penny was wiiiiide awake. Finally got her sleeping by putting her naked in the k'tan and bouncing her for like 30 minutes. Started taking her out and she POOPED IN THE K'TAN!! 

She also peed on one of the photographers wraps. Oh and when we were doing our final set in her baby hockey jersey she pooped on that too. God love her. 

 
We did get some pretty sweet pictures once we actually did get her sleeping! I'm pretty excited to see these pictures!   

Sounds similar to our shoot. DD peed all over DH and a little on me, and all over the floor. Peeing everywhere seems to be her favorite trick as she did the same thing at the doctor's office!

B peed in DH's baseball glove that we posed her in! Oops. DH and I are so immature...we laugh so much at babys farts, poops, and the noises she makes when she does both.

My husband graduated today!! So proud of him. It was our first big outing, and I forgot baby girl's paci. She got upset at one point, and the only way she'd calm down was by holding my thumb. It was the sweetest thing. :x

Yesterday I left DD for the first time to go have dinner at a friends house. I thought I was going to really miss her, but it was actually really nice to get out and have some me time (I hope that doesn't make me a bad mom! ). I came home to a stressed out DH who I left alone with DD for the first time. I think he appreciates me much more now which is a great mothers day present!

M has developed the most annoying wake up pattern ever.

Step 1: grunt enough to wake mom

Step 2: cry

Step 3: Wait until mom is out of bed, then stop crying and go back to sleep

Step 4: Wait until mom goes back to bed, then start crying again.

Repeat steps 2-4.

I realized today that since becoming a mom 2 years ago, I have never spent a Mother's Day with DH. I'm always with my family for a few months because he's always doing something with the Army. I feel cheated.

Posting this in Stupid Questions also, but thought I would get your opinions: Does this K'tan look like it is fit properly? Please disregard the stupid look on my face - Truman was screaming his head off for reasons unrelated to the carrier. Anyway, I worry this medium is too big. It is a K'tan Breeze so perhaps it will stretch slightly less, but I have no idea. Thoughts?

Ok random question: how much are you feeding LO? I feel like he is just eating sooooo much even for a growth spurt. Today he has had 30oz of breast milk, and will probably have one more bottle before midnight. He is 3.5weeks old and had barely regained his birth weight by his two week appointment.

He isn't spitting up, he gives all the cues of hunger including sucking his hands, rooting when we pick him up, crying, etc. I'm just wondering when is it overeating? He is so little and it seems like he is eating too much for such a new tummy. But no spitting up and he poops a lot (normal color/consistency).

@Stace0616‌ my pedi said that sometimes they eat a lot (I was worried dd wasn't going more than 2 hrs at 4 weeks) and grow a lot. Then the settle down for awhile. Maybe that's what he's doing?
