This is what's going to happen when your baby is in middle school. He'll have some weird project about a Bloga? Bolga? Some random type of bird. Like the bird "he" made? It took me (I mean him) hours to make. I'll be really offended if "he" doesn't get an A.

Dr appointment in a few hours! Half hoping, half dreading him giving me the ok to drive. Not being allowed to has given me an excuse to not have to venture out alone yet. It's also effectively solidified my place in this world as a hermit.

My husband was holding our daughter in the crook of his arm where the top of her head was angled basically inside of his armpit. I took her to feed her and she made a frowny face, so I was like, "Aww, does your hair smell like Daddy's armpit now?" I smelled it just to be funny, but it really did! Poor baby. Guess he forgot to put on deodorant after his shower last night.

Gripe water is basically a ginger root and fennel tincture that you can give to baby when s/he has an upset tummy which for all of us and our babies is like, every day. You can find it at any pharmacy/drug store and most grocery stores.

Baby E has been attached to my boobs all morning, finally got her to sleep and then remembered there is someone coming to appraise our house by 1:30. I swear on everything holy, if he wakes her, you will see this story on the news. ~X(

We use it for hiccups and only give it to her when she can't seem to shake them. Maybe every other day.

Little guy got diagnosed with GERD today. Poor man. Hope his new medicine helps him get some relief!

@Sisimama10‌ which medicine did you get? I think LO has it but am trying positioning to see if that helps first. It has only been a day so far but it doesn't seem to be helping much. Hope he feels better!

I did and it was awesome. I was WAAAAAY more overheated than Merri, thank goodness. Humble is the ex-D1 nationals-qualifying runner who just had a baby and can barely push a stroller up a hill without breaking into an uncontrollable sweat and pant-a-thon.

I've been propping him up on pillows while he sleeps and feeding on an incline etc. He can't make it thru a feeding without spitting up at least once and usually more than once. Plus he has "silent reflux" as well where he's spitting up but swallowing it. He is on Zantac now.

I feel like such a bad mom. We had another showing today, so I tried to take care of Quinn and straighten up the house but she was so fussy. I had no place to go while the people were here and I figured she'd fall asleep in the car. No. No way. She screamed her face off for 40 minutes, so hard I thought she'd hurt herself! I was so angry and flustered that I turned my music up to muffle her screaming. I feel shitty. But there was nothing I could do for her.

My one cat Finnegan has decided Aiden is pretty awesome since he makes me hang out on the couch pretty regularly. It's a good thing our other cat Seamus isn't a big fan of my lap - I was running out of lap space! 

 Kitty and baby snuggles - perfect way to spend a little time!

I fed B and she was burped and asleep and left for a hair appt. Within 30 min she had drank the entire 3oz bottle I left for her and had a meltdown. Luckily they were running behind and hadn't started mine yet because I had to leave and go back home. How am I going to do ANYTHING that involves leaving her for?I now have roots that needed to be touched up before she was born +5 weeks. It looks like shit.

DH took 2 hours off in the middle of the day (ok, 1 was his lunch but still...) to take me to the doctor. They were running behind (yeah that's why I liked my midwife, that never happened!) and by the time the dumbass finally came in to see me he half looked at my stitches and said he really needed to get to the hospital and asked us to come back later today.
Seriously?!
DH was wearing a work shirt, signifying that he has a job to get back to, and we are supposed to just swing by later?! After wasting over an hour there too. I seriously about lost my shit. So now we have race BACK to the other side of town after DH gets off work tonight, because, ya know, I'm not allowed to drive until my doctor clears me.
So pissed. It takes a lot of work to get a newborn out of the house and to coordinate our schedules. I just want to cry.

Usually she does fall asleep, my car is really bass-y. But OMG, she was just so tired and hating me at that point. It took me forever to get her to chill out and take a nap after we got home, now I want a bottle of wine ASAP. And I don't even drink.

A friend invited me out to dinner tonight. DD needed a bath. No big deal, I'll just give her one before my shower. Bath completed with zero tears, kid set up in the swing, mom turns on the shower and nothing. No water. Apparently they are working on the water lines for the new houses in the development. That's sweet, but I smell like ass and have to leave in 30 minutes!

He started the Zantac this morning, so he has already had two doses today. The improvement is amazing! I'm so glad we figured out what was wrong. He would scream the whole time he ate, now he just chows! So happy.
