Us too!! so gratifying and relaxing! Also last night, I put him to the boob and he clicked like a magnet! His latch is shallow but my god it is like a turbo Hoover. I look down and am surprised my nip is still there!

Day 5: went through 6 outfits, 1 changing cover, 5 swaddles, 1 sheet and mattress cover and 2 hats.

Thank goodness MIL is here doing our laundry daily!!! Andrew is a poop machine and loves to go mid diaper changes. Also Huggies can kiss my ass--- he leaks through those so fast! And is too small for cloth still... What weight do you find is when to start? He's basically 8lbs but so small!

Aiden refuses to nap today... I know he's tired (yawning, snuggling in) but he is fighting sleep like it's going to kill him! Thank god it's a weekend and DH is here, but if this boy doesn't sleep soon tonight is going to be a bitch.

@SoulTermination‌ : is it a constant resentment? Or just like 2:30 am feeding and I'm tired resentment? If its constant like you don't even want to take care of her I'd say ppd. If its every once in a while it might just be being tired.

Thanks! Things are getting better, I guess, lol. DH has an infection and DD has a stomach bug. I cried last night after she had diarrhea on her floor because she couldn't make it to the bathroom on time. After shampooing her carpet at 1 am I crawled in bed and just couldn't control my emotions at that point. I keep telling myself things will get better, because they have too. I know things could be a lot worse, but sometimes it's hard to remember that. I'm selfishly dreading mother's day tomorrow because I know more people are concerned about DH than me, which they should be, but I'm bummed. Anyway, sorry for the novel. I guess I needed to vent. Thank you for thinking of me. I appreciate it!

We have newborn photos right away and little girl is in wide awake mode....
And are they really newborn photos if she's 3 weeks old? Haha oh well. I was in no condition to do anything the first 2 weeks.

We haven't done newborns yet.. Won't until she's at least six weeks old. At that point I think it's just family portraits haha

Jealous! I'm down to my last pair and it makes me very sad. Also, why is it that the most comfortable underwear have to be the least attractive? It's a cruel joke.

We bought a house! I love my new house! And it was a spec home so it's brand new and shiny! And the builder agreed to finish the basement! OMG I have a basement now!!! We just need to sell our house....because the buyers did terminate their contract after all which is fine because they only beat us to it. BUT WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!

I would have never thought to wash mesh undies. I've just been pitching them every day. I do feel like the pads tear these things up....I'm quite the recycler, but I might just have to chock these up to disposable. Maybe I'll try to salvage today's pair and see how it goes. Alternatively, if the washing goes well I'm going to be ticked I wasted the five pairs from this week!

Just wanted to give a quick update. Hubster came home early this morning. Talked with MIL last night and she got hubster in a good spot. Things are awkward but in the mend. Getting him a counselor to help with the anxiety. Hugs and kisses to all! Going to spend the weekend resting as much as possible.

Well our photo shoot was an interesting ride! Photographer came and set up at my place. Penny was wiiiiide awake. Finally got her sleeping by putting her naked in the k'tan and bouncing her for like 30 minutes. Started taking her out and she POOPED IN THE K'TAN!!

She also peed on one of the photographers wraps. Oh and when we were doing our final set in her baby hockey jersey she pooped on that too. God love her.

We did get some pretty sweet pictures once we actually did get her sleeping! I'm pretty excited to see these pictures!

Sounds similar to our shoot. DD peed all over DH and a little on me, and all over the floor. Peeing everywhere seems to be her favorite trick as she did the same thing at the doctor's office!
