Oh my goodness @LuckySquare, that his so scary. As sad as it is, it does sound like the loss of the baby may have been a blessing in disguise. My thoughts and prayers will be with your family as well. My Dad had a pacemaker installed about a year ago and he feels so much better. I hope it helps your SIL in the same way.

Thankful that I managed to be productive while DH worked tonight. Made a pair of pants (probably size 3-6mo?) and a tutu (team green... So it's "just in case") tonight while watching Archer (the whole first season) and House. Best part: the time flew by AND I didn't have to purchase any supplies. Everything was stuff I already had/up cycled.

Today is my first day alone with both boys, and last night they conspired against me. My 2 year old NEVER wakes up during the night. However last night he woke up at 3 and 430. Both times were while LO was asleep. I am so incredibly tired, I wish I drank coffee

Hi everyone! Back from a weekend RTT hiatus since MIL is in town.

@twirple-- I am so so sorry to hear for that loss. My heart goes out to your entire family.

To all the new mamas -- congrats! I can't wait to join you. EDD was yesterday and MIL is obsessed with 'gravity therapy' to get baby out. I've felt LO engage a bit more but I don't have much hope that anything will happen for a couple of days.

Missed talking to everyone over the weekend and looking forward to catching up today and this week!

Hugs to everyone. B and I are struggling with feeding. She likes keeping her bottom lip tucked under and won't latch properly for more than a few seconds. Its really stressing me out, but her diapers have been good, so FX shes getting enough colustrum. I have my post partum check up today and an appt with the lactation consultant tomorrow. Send us some good eating vibes please!

PS: people are more interested in the status of my butt than the status of baby. WTAF?

Hugs to all those who have had losses in their family and those who also need one. I had a dream last night that a bunch of us went out to lunch, and I had to make up faces for some of you. And @jellysparkles couldn't make it because she was at the hospital having a Jellybean. And I was the only one still pregnant. AND OMG IM LOSING MY MIND OVER ALL THE GREEN BABIES!!!

I encapsulated my placenta and I swear the pills are making a huge difference. I haven't had any night sweats and I really haven't had any baby blues. I definitely recommend doing it to anyone who can.

I'm officially one day 'overdue.' I've been at peace with it so far this morning and all of yesterday but it's getting more difficult with the Facebook messages and text messages. They aren't even directed to me...they're directed to my MIL and mom but I'm tagged in these posts. It's frustrating to just be this like, machine that was supposed to pump out a baby yesterday.

Ugh TP to this horrible woman who I work with just came up to me and asked me if she could touch my belly. I begrudgingly said yes and she starts rubbing it slow and creepily. Then she says very seriously "are you SURE it's not two?" Like she knew something I didn't. I am just so beyond done with these comments!! What is wrong with people??! Pregnancy is not an excuse to tell a woman they look huge!! I just want to slap her.

End rant. Anytime I see a pregnant woman in the future I am going to tell her she looks amazing and is glowing.

I told my doctor that people were giving me crap for getting pedis and risking preterm labor.
She laughed and said she's never had a patient go into labor from a damn pedicure. Ridiculousness.

However, now I'm kinda wishing it was true. Pedicures all dayyyy.

I know! My heart goes out to you big time because I know you've been dealing with that kind of shit a lot longer than I have been. Hubster is getting it at work today too and one of our friends who has four kids and works there posted on their Facebook 'watercooler' to refrain from asking if baby has arrived yet because they obviously know the answer to that question since he's AT work. Instead, he suggested, people can ask him if they can buy him a donut or skateboard or see what they can do to help. I love this man.

Personally, I'm staying off Facebook today and every day until I have this baby.

I want to start an education campaign to dispel all the old wives tales and misinformation out there about stupid shit like that.

It's one thing to think 'gee maybe this is true' (like, maybe pineapples help bring on labour) but to wag your finger at someone and say UH BE CAREFUL WITH THAT PINEAPPLE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BABY TO BE BORN AT 18 WEEKS GESTATION is super fucking ignorant and annoying.

People are so dumb. And the best part? Most of these dumbasses have already had kids and they are still saying this dumb shit!!

I REALLY don't want to go to work today. I'm so jealous of everyone who is already on maternity leave!! Luckily I had the foresight to buy extra donuts yesterday and DH didn't eat his so at least I'm starting off the day with a very healthy double donut breakfast.
