@speechie517  My DS is the same way with tucking in his lower lip while eating. I am constantly having to pull it out.  Luckily, he is still getting enough to eat.  I am thinking of going in to see a lactation consultant.  Hope nursing gets easier for you and your DD.

Congrats to the new moms, consolation to the miserable moms in waiting, and general hello from RTT MIA!!

I think I'm going to put together one more slow cooker freezer meal today and make some lactation cookies. Leaving the house is pushing it so I'll schedule a mani/pedi for tomorrow. Jack's not coming for a while (he's moving around like crazy)and I'm ok with that. I kind of want him to wait for my parents to get here. But I had my final wax and car seats are in, so I'm ok if he decides to come too.

I'm at that point where if I stand too long my feet and legs swell, and the pressure on my cervix/bladder feels like I'm trying to hold in a bowling ball with my pelvic floor muscles. But if I sit too long my tailbone and back hurt and I can't breath. But if I lay down too long I get heartburn and boredom. It's only been a week of this so I can't really complain yet. Especially with the OD ladies... Hang in there!

Well after wandering my house last night trying to breath without wanting to rip my ribs out my DH made us go to the ER. I am officially so uncomfortably big in the belly that I sprained my freaking ribs turning over in bed....

Yay Aviola and cgoldian! Who else am I missing? I've been MIA for a day or two and cannot believe how many babies are popping up! We had my MILs memorial yesterday and it was hard but beautiful. My husband spoke well and cried a lot and I was very proud of him. Now I'm looking forward to him finishing tax season, us getting away for a tiny bit, finishing the nursery, and this baby coming! Hopefully in that order!!!

Just got back from Logan's first appointment. His bili levels are really high and I'm waiting on the call to find out if he is going to be re admitted to the hospital for treatment. He has also lost about 9% of his birth weight but my milk came in so we should see that going back up soon. Poor guy also had his tongue tie clipped, Mama is looking forward to pain free nursing!

Hopefully you don't have to go to the hospital!  Can you get a bili bed or blanket to use at home instead?  Mikey just got cleared on his bili levels today, about four days after my milk came in and a day after he really started processing the milk (lots of 'output').

In other news, I love my husband, he's a fantastic father, but if he tells me again that he's going to "snooze" the alarm one more time before getting up, I will not be held responsible for my actions.  He's getting almost a full night's sleep (I ask him to change a diaper maybe once a night) while I'm dealing with cluster feeding, and he's taking more naps than I am!

We had bought 3 bottles of orange juice several weeks ago to ensure we would have some for our home Bradley method birth. If you aren't familiar, one of the little fun quirks about Bradley is that it's a big deal to have a glass of orange juice right after the baby is born to help with recovery.
I was very sad today to have to open the last bottle with no baby in sight. I really wanted OJ but had been holding out hope for that damn bottle. Ugh.

Today is the first day where I realized who the fuck cares about me anymore! I have such a bad headache, Lucas obviously doesn't understand. I have to learn to work through it.

My poor mom suffers from migraines and now I know how she felt caring for us.

Soooo I'm having a baby tomorrow! No pre-e, but with the elevated BP and the back pain they decided to cut me open a couple days early Looks like the girl who works in finance is getting a Tax Day baby after all!

My uterus is scared, but my back is doing a happy dance right now. I'll just let the two of them duke it out while I enjoy my last day of not being anybody's mother.

DH and I just attempted a trip to Target with our 6day old. I have never been happier to be home in my life. This kid may spend the next 2 wks sitting on the couch with me.
