@subliminalrabbit I read your post a few hours ago and was fuming but didn't have time to type anything. First off, I second that that is some bullshit. Secondly and what you already know I'm sure, you need to get out of there.
I know you have plans for your own business. I'm not sure how quickly you think that will take off, but you may want to consider finding an open position in some other part of Disney and try to transfer if possible. Otherwise, finding another job at another company may be in your best interest because it sounds like your current boss is out to get you.
I'd play along with their requests until I lined something else up, and then I'd get the fluck out of there.
So we're attempting to sleep train tonight. Grayson was asleep and woke up and starting crying. Initially waited 5 minutes but his crying went to just fussing so we waited another 5 minutes. I go in after 10 minutes and I'm not even through the door all the way and he projectile vomits on me. Grayson-1 mom and dad-0
I hate being in weddings. I am in 2 this year. The MOH in the May wedding just sent this shoe as an option for us to wear with our dresses.
@lioness13, those are some tacky ass stripper shoes, IMO. Buuuuuutttt, I love the actual style. I'm all about an open toe, little bit of a platform, with an ankle strap, shoe. They will be comfy.
@violet1183 my DD has been spending a good amount of time sitting or standing in the crib crying. She's been doing it for weeks and it's been hell.
She did sleep from 7:30-2:30 last night which is the longest stretch of sleep she's had in over month. This was then followed by an hour and a half of fussing and gymnastics in the crib.
I'm in the minority because KJ hasn't been sick...until now. I would probably be freaking out but hearing about all the stuff so many if you have been through makes me feel like this is nothing. Even so, feeling like a helpless mommy sucks.
KJ has had a runny nose for over a week (a week of fighting to nose frida her wore me out!) and then the mucus got thicker over the weekend. So thick that when she tried to cough to break it up, she threw up. This happened twice yesterday. Once when she woke up in the morning and again from a nap. I gave her Tylenol last night and her nose was clearer but the mucus moved down to her throat/chest and when she was trying to cough it up she threw up again. We decided to call the Ped today and get her seen. Now I'm just counting down the minutes until the office opens and trying not to feel tense/anxious about missing work today.
@violet1183 if she's hysterical, I get her and rock her to sleep which has its own set of problems (last week she would only sleep on me). If she's just fussing/sort of crying, I let her try to put herself to sleep. It's been pretty bad the past two weeks so I've been doing whatever felt right in the moment and whatever kept me semi sane.
@mcbush - Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried that but I will tonight. I have a great humidifier in her room too. Thankfully she's in a great mood when she's not coughing.
Re: Spamalamadingdong 3/24
@libberluru - the bride is over 35 and the MOH is 50!
@Pitchslap - sadly, I don't think so.
@kari5186 - It's online only at Target by Tevolio
@tiffletons518, @Blondie 1981 and others for the leg compliments- thank you!
