Exciting day here! We're at the diner eating pancakes, then we are going to the baby expo. And finally to my favorite Italian restaurant for dinner. We decided since this is quiet possibly our last weekend as a party of two we're going to get all dressed up an be fancy. Plus this place makes the best strawberry shortcake!
Is it mean that mixed our coffee bean (half decaf, half regular) and didn't tell my husband? Yesterday he said, "wow, this coffee is really good." And then left for meetings all day...

I'm tired of not being able to sleep.
I'm tired of mucus and heartburn and dry skin.
I don't want to be pregnant anymore because I've been pregnant since the beginning of last May and it's NOT FAIR that I had to miscarry after 10 weeks and start all over.
I want my mom.
I want to be a mom.
(Cries)
*Hugs* I keep telling DH I wish we were still basing my due date off my LMP because that is 4/7 instead of 4/19. I am so done, so done contracting all damn day and then it just fucking stops. Sick of coughing up mucus all fucking day. Just done.
I agree @KendraColeslaw - I don't much get the point of baby socks. I have relieved some as gifts or hand-me-downs but bought zero and don't intend to buy any. It's barefoot or feety pajamas for my little guy until he gets a bit older!
Good luck, @LittleLady77! My induction with DS went the same way, it took over 3 days - but in the end it was successful and I had a great recovery. It's so frustrating and exhausting to go through, but it's great your doctors are letting you take it slow and giving your body time to do its thing. 80% effaced is good progress! Enjoy the break, eat, shower, walk around, and nap when you can! And try to be zen about it - no matter how long it takes, you're coming home with your babies!
Thank you for this! Babies seem so far away right now but I know they aren't.
@littlelady77 that sounds really rough! Sounds like you little babe just wants to cook longer! Remin me why you are being induced! I'm hoping things start looking up for you.
With twins they don't let you go over 38 weeks. If they do there is a risk your ute can get to stretched out to properly push.
Woah, haven't checked in in over a day and now I know how this thread blows up! Sorry ladies, I'm skipping. But I DO know it's @Serenla's birthday!!!! Happy birthday sweets!!!
I'm having my baby shower today!!!! I cannot wait! I may actually do something with my hair. . . Shocked.

Scared me! DH and I were at Target when it happened. Pretty good sized one too. There were bottles of wine that shattered from shelves. It was a 5.3 and centered where my sister lives. She had some broken things around the house. The news had to freak us out even more by saying that this could be a sign that a larger one is coming in the next few hours or days. I sure hope not!
They ways say that though....it's more sensational to talk about "the big one"
They have been talking about "the big one" for years. And here I am awaiting...

Yah the news loves to scare the crap out of people
When was the last "big one" for CA? 1989?
That was the last big one I remember, but I've only been back for holidays since 2002 so I could have easily missed something.
I know most people remember that one as the World Series quake, but I remember it as The Land Before Time Earth-Shake. I was watching the movie at daycare (I was 6) and the earthquake in the movies started right before the real earthquake. Best special effects ever!
I believe it was in 89. I wasn't even born yet... Ha love that movie! Makes me cry every time!

It was my favorite movie as a kid. I own two copies, one VHS and DVD. I do not have a VHS player though and it is the only VHS tape I own. I totally had a plush Little Foot and would brush his fur; I hope my mom finds him in the attic and brings him to pass on to this baby.
I also named my hamster Little Foot.
I had Ducky plush toy. My dog ate it though...funny the dogs name was Petrie.
@Tasha575 the earthquake sounds scary but hold up you have WINE in your target?!?? I'm so incredibly jealous.
I know this was pages ago, but I needed to comment. I live in Nevada, there is alcohol everywhere. I literally forget this is a thing other places. Beer, wine, hard liquor all at your local grocery chain

I had a plush little foot I loved too. I was in the hospital a lot as a child and they even made him a wrist band with his name on it to match mine. I wonder if my parents still have that, I'll have to look next time I go home now.
I love when I come across the sexy underwear that I never even WORE. Like I bought it in the hopes it would fit, but then it doesn't and I can't bear to throw it away. Here's hoping between lots of stroller use and BFing that I'll get to use some them someday
I was organizing my dresser this morning and came across all my beautiful Victoria's Secret bikinis. So much sadness - I probably will not be in a swimsuit this summer
I'm still waiting for the day when I look good in a bikini. X_X

I remember those days! Man, being four years old feels like sooooo long ago!

Shoot, I had an amazing tan when I was four, too!

So I was going to opt for a more financially responsible lunch decision today, perhaps something relatively cheap like a Subway sandwich (or even better, something prepared at home). But then the allure of endless complimentary chips and salsa and ice water being delivered to my table got the best of me. Out for Mexican it is! Besides, I can totally justify it based on the fact that I'm already heaving my mass around to go grocery shopping and get all the chores done today right? I'm giving myself a few pity points for the awful pelvic aches as well.
