Late FFFC: my OB appointment and my appointment for the cable guy to hook up the internet in our new house conflicted. I chose to keep the cable appointment and cancel the OB appointment. Mom of the year already.
Pretty sure I pulled every muscle in my body, but I have this beautiful baby boy and I can't complain too much. Also, DH is in his boxers on the guest bed and he farted really loud in his sleep when the nurse was in here taking vitals. Definitely his finest moment
Warning: inductions can suck. I've been in the hospital attempting an eviction for 35+ hours. It's included pills, an IV, a bulb, stripping membranes, Pitocin, no solid food and several bouts of vomiting. After all that I'm 1cm and 80% effaced. I don't know wether to laugh or cry! Thus is labor I guess- it could be worse. They stopped all treatments, let me eat and shower and now we start again from ground zero. Wish me luck
I'm going to throw a tantrum. 4 hours of on and off sleep is not a good night's rest. So freaking tired of heartburn/pregsomnia. Especially since I'm actually tired.

It's amazing how great a shower will make you feel when you aren't pregnant. Also amazing how I got 3 hours of sleep last night, in one hour increments, but I still feel rested. It's going to suck when the hormones and adrenaline wear off. But on the shower note, my hospital has a nursery so we sent baby George to the nursery while I showered and DH helped me. Now he is showering while I rest and then we are going to go walk to the nursery. Best decision ever! It was so relaxing. My last hospital didn't have a nursery so it wasn't an option, but I definitely recommend it if it's a possibility
I'm tired of not being able to sleep. I'm tired of mucus and heartburn and dry skin. I don't want to be pregnant anymore because I've been pregnant since the beginning of last May and it's NOT FAIR that I had to miscarry after 10 weeks and start all over. I want my mom. I want to be a mom.
