So a clusterfuck happened here at around noon. DH had just gotten home for lunch and needed to poop. My friend was coming to pick me up for lunch. The maintenance guys were coming to fix a leaky faucet.
So I tell DH that I need to pee before I go, and he finished up, lights a match, and I head in to pee while he washed his hands. Ok, I'm extra sensitive right now, so the smell of the match and the faint poo stench made me gag. Hard. So I sit down to pee and start throwing up in the trash can. Resistance was completely futile. Mid-barf the doorbell rings. DH is in the process of changing his pants (he always forgets about casual Friday) and the bathroom door is wide open. He ALMOST opened the door before shutting the bathroom door, so in between heaves I shout "door!!!"
So I'm still puking/cleaning up and such, my friend is in the living room, and DH is zipping his pants. And maintenance is set to arrive any second. Thank God I got cleaned up about 60 seconds before they did, or it would have been this awkward crowd waiting for me (the faucet was in the bathroom).

I want Chinese food so bad. Unfortunately, baby hates Chinese food and my GD would likely go crazy from the carbs anyway. I am so binging on Chinese once this baby gets here, though!

Ugh, still breech. Now that a c section is becoming a real possibility, I have realized that I wasn't paying attention in birth class when they covered the procedure and I feel so unprepared.

C section moms: I've never had stitches/staples or anything like that. My scar looks almost like it's folding in on itself, creating the look of lips or a mouth (only way I can describe it!) did your scar fade? Is it still pretty noticeable? There's nothing that I can do, but I'm curious!

Just my train of thought right now.....I'm jealous of all the outside babies.... So much drama at work #1 today...Why am I still working job 2?... Brother who quit his job and moved home called to borrow money, fcuk that shit..ow lightning crotch... Apples< pineapples and now I'm hungry...What's for dinner ladies? I need some ideas!

OMG all of the feels today! I just started sobbing during an episode of "Chopped" because one of the chefs was playing for a charity of a disease his son suffered. Then he wins, the 3 year old runs over to him and just cue up the waterworks. I can't stop now. And I can't stop thinking about finally getting to meet my little man. I just want to snuggle him right now lol!

@mamrotu Apparently the one that is about to go, Hekla, is right under one of the main flight paths. I don't know if that's true though. So, maybe when Hekla goes you'll get to fly somewhere exotic, if you're still flying and over here :-)

DH is working super late again tonight, so my plan is: Twisted Sister pasta salad (cavatappi with kalamata olives, green onion, and sundried tomato), M&M cookie and lots of water. Feeling dehydrated for some reason today.

Also, a STM in my yoga class last night was saying how she plans to "distract" herself better this time around. Apparently she read a book and watch a tv show during active labor and all the way up to pushing.

I feel like that's gotta be an exaggeration. But if it's a possibility I'm going to stalk up on trashy magazines and load my iPad with reruns of west wing.

Any thoughts?

I guess im weird too because I want to see the c section scars I don't plan to have one but an emergency c section could always happen and I like to know what's coming in my life for my belly.

I could barely see my c section scar anymore, it had been 2 years. Plus mine is so low that no one besides my DH and Dr would ever see it. It was skin color and smooth. My appendix and gallbladder scars are much worse, they are like purplish. They are only 3 months newer than my original c section.

@mamrotu I figured after I wrote exotic that most of the places you have been have not been the desirable type of exotic. The Azores could have been cool though!

Keflavik has been a pretty sad town since the military left. Hit hard by the crash after that, too.

The bump and FB are sucking away all my time today and I have to finish these damn thank yous! Maybe it will make it easier if I play the Jimmy Fallon "Thank You" music in the background while I finish writing them?

Just finished the last project for baby's nursery - shelves! DH helped me hang them, but he wants me to wait a few more days before I put anything on them, in case the polyurethane hasn't cured enough. I'll AW final nursery photos once I'm allowed to use the shelves  :P
