Hot flashes? I'm FREEZING all the time it seems like...
Also, just went to Target and I think I had a contraction getting out of the car. My lower belly cramped up so bad I couldn't move for a minute. Is that a BH? I'm a dumb FTM, I have no clue what it was but it's the first time it's happened.
I am really enjoying watching Bridezillas Marriage Bootcamp on netflix right now. AND I DONT CARE WHO KNOWS IT! Really wishing they still had Jersey Shore on there because I don't think I can handle starting the Kardashians from the begin and I just want to watch some trash tv!
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...
So the officer at the local police station that does car seat checks is working nights right now. We have to wait until 9:30 for our appointment tonight and I am so flippin' tired. I hope there's a nice, well-lit, heated garage to pull into because it is only 18 degrees outside. Good news is, after this car seat check I think we are officially totally ready for baby to come!

DD and I love bridezillas. She just loves the opening song where the cartoon bride screams.
It features a lot of the same women from Gypsy Sisters. And focuses a lot on those damn bling bling dresses. You'll love it!
I've been feeling so out of sorts today. Feverish but no fever, heartburn after every bland thing I've put in my mouth, sweating for no reason, and I even took a three hour nap today. I haven't napped in months. No idea what is going on with my body right now and baby isn't due for a whole month so I doubt it's labor.
I'm so sick of visitors!!! Everyone over stays their welcome and steals my baby for hours at a time. My MIL is the only one who came over and started cleaning and helping around the house. She kissed the baby and told me to rest and she would do the house work! Bless her!!! I'm embarrassed at the state of my house be too tired to clean it for the visitors!

That's nice of your mil! With my first, I got sick of visitors, so I just started hiding away and saying I needed space, and quiet time with the baby. They eventually got the hint and went away. Sorry, but manners do not apply when you're a brand new mama!

Where has my appetite gone? My head wants all the things but I haven't been actually hungry in days...
Same thing for me. I have NO appetite anymore. I've actually lost some weight. Even though I'm forcing myself to eat I have barely any room in my stomach and am full after just a few bites.
Went to Target to stock up on postpartum supplies today, and I picked up a pair of their biggest yoga pants and hoped for best. I ripped a hole in my maternity jeans, and I refuse to replace them at this point. I figure I can wear giant yoga pants for a while after the baby too.
I am so amazingly comfortable right now! So much better than the pajama bottoms I've been straining to squeeze on. Why didn't I listen to A14 sooner?
I'm ALL about the yoga pants. I need to buy more pairs I only wear pants when absolutely necessary.
Also, the sweet girls at my work are throwing me a shower tomorrow and I'm so excited. Mostly to hang out and eat awesome food... I've only been on Mat leave for a week and I miss them!

My fortune from my Chinese dinner last night says "Someone who deserves special attention awaits your magic voice." I kept it and put it in LO's room. </p>
I bough 2 Cadbury cream eggs and 2 caramel ones the other day. 1 of each for both DH and I. He hasn't touched his and I really want to eat them.
On the contrary of what happened earlier with someone's DH eating their breakfast sandwich..
You snooze, you lose right? Eat themmmm
That would be me. I'm making him run out and get me jimmy johns right now. This is the only pregnancy food run I've asked for, but I think eating my breakfast justifies it. I've barely eaten today. Poor DS threw up 3 times but still wanted to play outside (even though the wind was freezing) so I've been dealing with that all day while DH stayed on the couch and worked. I'm pooped and starving and he was sitting here eating cereal and I'm like "bring me foooooood." If he fucks it up I'm going to turn into the hulk, I can feel it.
I had Olive Garden tonight and was too full for dessert... So I ordered a piece of the lemon cream cake to go! Nothing can stand between a very pregnant A14er and her cake. [-(
March 2017 September Siggy Challenge: Favorite Fall Things
Baby's head is so low that I think he is blocking my ability to pee. I feel like I have to go so bad, but I can only go a little bit at a time. No UTI symptoms, so it isn't that and when he's moving this isn't a problem. So annoying.
My taste buds have gone on strike today. I made apple pie oatmeal in the crock pot last night. Three apples, apple sauce, over 1/2 cup brown sugar, lots of cinnamon and nutmeg. I was so disappointed in how bland it was. DH, on the other hand, was raving about it and DS asked for seconds.
We had tomato soup and cheese toasties for lunch, made with sharp cheddar, it was bland too.
Spaghetti with pesto sauce and lots of parmesan for dinner, still bland.
I've made butterscotch pudding for desert, it is now cooling in the fridge. If it is bland too, I'm gonna be so upset. The only thing I've had today that has been really tasty was a cherry coke. I might end up going out for more if this pudding doesn't meet my expectations.

That is such a bummer. I hope he moves soon so you can have a good pee.

That happened to me today as well! I've had Pop-tarts, pickles, Velveeta Mac and Cheese--nothing seems to be tasting the way it's supposed to. Even the couple pieces of chocolate I've had out of the candy dish tasted off. Yet, for all the blandness, STILL the heartburn. What gives???
I am very jealous of all you ladies with spring like temperatures! Mother nature teased us yesterday with some high 50's but fell right back into the 20's today. Possible snow Monday :-( I cannot wait for some prolonged spring temps!

Hahaha me too! Every time I go it's just a trickle. Then I lay back down and feel like I have to go again.
After more than 14 months of marriage I finally got around to boxing up my wedding gown, veil etc for preservation. DH is glad to no longer have it taking up room in our closet LOL.
Married almost 7 years and my wedding dress is still hanging in my closet (veil was stepped on and torn during the reception). Maybe one of these day's I'll get around to boxing up the dress, though I wouldn't ask anyone to hold their breath.

Ugh... I'm sorry people are over- staying their welcome...
I'm really nervous about this happening after LO arrives. DH's extended family is huge and they are already talking about coming over to see the baby.

I've been married 3 years, and my dress is still hanging in the back of our closet. It hasn't even been cleaned...oops
Just found a hole in my favorite pair of maternity jeans...too much wear in the inner thighs where they rub against each other. I'm super sad about it
I ripped little holes in the outer corners of the back pockets (where the grommet is attached) on a $200 pair of maternity jeans. Kept pulling them up by the pockets, maternity jeans are so awkward since they have no waistband to hold them up! Anyhow, I just cut little patches of that iron-on denim patch stuff and ironed them on from the inside, then hand stitched the corners of the patches for reinforcement. Maybe you could try the same?

I'm definitely no seamstress but I guess it would be worth a shot to save the jeans. Luckily the hole is in the crotch essentially so it shouldn't be too bad to repair even if it looks ugly.
You definitely don't need to be a seamstress to repair it. You just need an iron, the demin patch stuff (which you can even get at some grocery stores) and a basic mending kit (needle and thread). You don't have to stitch the corners, but I recommend it as the patch can want to peel up because most denim is stretch and gives some when you wear it. Because you are doing this from the inside (turn jeans inside out) it definitely won't be obvious, especially it being the crotch.
Prettyyyyy sure our washing machine has something wrong with it. Some of the sounds it makes are a little scary. Perks of renting- if it goes they have to replace it. For freeeeee.
Also- spring means allergies and ants. Already found some in the kitchen tonight. Those bastards. Two years ago they were all over my house that I shared with a roommate. We would wake up in the morning to ants just crawling on every surface no matter how well we cleaned/sprayed. It was a nightmare!

I only have hot flashes when I sleep. I always wake up and freak that my water broke. Then I realize that I'm being stupid and I'm sweaty everywhere.
I really hope DH bought me popcorn. I need me some kettle corn.
