I think it's one of those things that you need to watch for/be aware of, but is actually not as common as the scaremongering makes it sound. Just as we were pulling into the driveway my phone starts ringing. It was my 4 year old niece facetiming us. We had a pretty good convo going until mom realized what she was doing....apparently it was nap time and she had figured out how to call us on her own! She totally got in trouble but it was so cute to talk to her!

Ok, so the Mohawk/faux hawk thing didn't happen. But I most definitely cut my hair. I'm glad DH thinks I'm the good kind of crazy... And whether he is being honest or not, he says he likes it. And he bought me cake. He's a keeper.

Great! We had new born pictures this morning! He slept ok last night! Cute as can be! Finally eating/nursing like a pro! We finally have a good system!

Hit 36 weeks today and want to give a huge SUCK ME HARD to the diabetic specialist nurse at the hospital. I first met her at 10 weeks and she told me that it would be a miracle if I didn't miscarry and if by some small chance I made it to the 3rd trimester, anything past 32 weeks would be another miracle. Kiss my ass, bitch. I did it!

I started this pregnancy with a pixie cut. It's more like a bottom of the ear length bob now. Lots of mullet cutting was involved to get it there. I kind of want to chop it off again.
I get my hair cut at the same salon I booked massages at. I may have to double book one day to do it. But a pixie takes more upkeep trims that I'm not sure I'll have time for with a baby. If I let it grow just a bit more, I'll be able to put it up. Decisions...

That's a tough one! I couldn't handle the mullet one more day or all the in my eyes bullshit. On the less upkeep front, I would say let it grow so you can put it up.

I would seriously write a letter complaining.  Nothing in this world makes me happier than writing letters for both good and bad service, but especially asshole employees.  Nothing makes me more angry.  As a business owner, I WANT to know everything, so somehow it's my duty to tell others about their businesses too.

Just got home from the mall. We let DD pick any outfit she wanted her brother to come home in. Not that we thought the outfit was super important, we wanted her to feel as included as possible. She picked a little sweat suit with anchors on it, since pirates are her favorite. She seems to be more excited than ever.

Counted the boxes and we have over 2,500 diapers. Only 150 are size one. Lets hope this baby takes after her mom and comes out ten pounds, then we might be able to put her in size two pretty quick! But then none of her clothes will fit... Oh dilemma!

Our neighbors two doors down are rocking out (badly) on their porch while we are enjoying our fire and radio. Pros and cons to camping out at home. If they weren't garbage musicians, we would turn the radio off and enjoy the banjo goodness. Ah well. I have a belly full of roasted corn, polish sausages, and cake, and the most adorable camping buddy ever. I love it when he wants to build a fire and cook out :x
