Longest Thread EVER! (aka Random Thoughts Thread )

No itching here, just managed to cough so hard in my sleep that I woke myself up, and now I'm wide awake and coughing so hard I keep peeing myself. :-w

On the plus side, it's cute to see the kitties and DH when they're sleeping. My kitty is curled up right above his head on the pillow, and his kitty is sprawled along his right side, with DH hugging his tail.

Ugh. I'm frustrated. I've been asking my MIL to get the tdap shot for months now and she looks at me like I'm an idiot and she's too good for it. I've even asked her to talk to her doctor about it to get more information. Now I find out that whooping cough is making the rounds in my area. Am I crazy for asking her or am I pressing too hard? I live with her so she'll have constant contact with the baby and she works in a very public area as a receptionist so she exposed to tons of people.

Everyone with kids keeps repeating the 'sleep while you can' advice, and I'm like 'BITCH I'M TRYING!' I'm due in 3 weeks and I just want ONE morning where I can sleep in, uninterrupted. Why is fate so cruel?

DD was a really good sleeper. It wasn't too bad! Don't worry! And it's not like you can stock pile sleep anyways!

The whole "sleep while you can" comment makes me stabby! The weird thing is that I feel like the people that have made the most annoying comments to me are friends that have had babies fairly recently. Did they get sudden amnesia and not remember how annoying certain comments are???

Congrats on 1000 pages ladies! I tried to stay awake, but fell asleep somewhere around 994 pages...

DH and I are spending the afternoon out together without the kiddo's. I'm looking forward to it!

I've also started feeling really anxious lately...like I need to get out of the house or get things done but I can't ever think of what to get done or where I feel I need to go. I think I'm just ready for this kid to be born.

I had a dream my DS came out talking like caillou it was terrifying I hate that show. Finally got SO to paint the nursery today and he was being so difficult picking the paint last night finally I said eff it pick yourself and he did and now I'm going to be bitter about it my whole future of living here I think because it doesn't fit in with my vision... Don't feel like bitching and getting him pissed because that'll just delay the whole process and I'm not putting my son in a hot pink lime green room.... Vent over congrats on 1000 ladies I was in bed by 930 lol

RE Lent and Pregnant women. I'm not christian and was actually raised Muslim. I know for a fact that pregnant women are exempt from Muslim fasts. I dated a lot of Jewish boys growing up and know that with the except of Yom Kippur, pregnant women are exempt from their fasts, so I had to look it up, that's just what I do. accoring to this site https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/liturgicalyear/activities/view.cfm?id=1013 pregnant and nursing women are exempt from the Lenten fasts. Eat all the meat you want ladies!

Every other week DH is sick it seems like and turns into a helpless baby. I'm SO TIRED this morning and running around after DS and cleaning and he's laying on the floor like a lump. I thought I was the one that was supposed to be allowed to rest at this point.

Also I ran out this morning to buy us breakfast and I got myself a breakfast sandwich and he ate mine and his before I had a chance to sit down and eat anything. Aaaaasssssss.

Favorite colors are black and white.

I am hungry and for the past couple of days the only thing I have been craving is greasy fast food. I think I'll have to eat some for lunch and then post a weight gain thread about it. Then, some time later I'll post a thread asking if I'm experiencing contractions, but in reality it will just be the effect of the fast food on my bowels. This is my master plan.

That would be a beating offense at my house - I read that to my DH and he laughed and said "even I wouldn't do that!!"

@hbell12‌, it's ridiculous she won't get a Tdap for no reason. Thankfully my inlaws volunteered because they will be around the boys a lot. I don't know what I would have done if they refused. I'm sorry.

I'm already dreading some of the advise I'll get from my FIL. My SIL had a baby on Monday, and we were visiting last night. She's having a little trouble with breastfeeding. She's doing okay, but was having a lot of pain, so he was giving her a hard time saying she needs to pump and let the dad feed. She's pretty adamant about trying to avoid nipple confusion right now and learn how to get a proper latch and whatnot, but FIL of course doesn't get it
