Yes! My mom came over and did All The Things! DH let me nap this morning, then forced me to nap this evening. He is resting up now before we hit the sack. I've been given permission to kick him to get him moving! We'll see how tonight goes!

The alcohol/antibiotic thing is a myth!! there is only a couple of types that is effected by alcohol but Drs and naughty and tell you not to drink with ALL antibiotics because its easier. I can't remember the specific type, but check what your bottle says - if it doesn't specifically say not to then you are fine! the types are metronidazole (Flagyl), tinidazole (Tindamax) and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim).

I just read 18 pages of the RTT and my brain is now mush, but I love you ladies. Sorry for all of you who've still been dealing with frigid temps. It's been spring here for weeks with trees in full bloom and flowers coming up everywhere, but the temp is supposed to drop 20 degrees tomorrow again, and it's still been in the 30s overnight.

We had a pretty good weekend. We went over to Roseville and Sacramento yesterday to do some shopping. We got some adorable monsters inc onesies at the Disney store, and we got frames, shelves, and curtains for the nursery from ikea! We also got chick-fil-a, which was probably the highlight of DH's day.

Today was DH's birthday. We had a pretty low key day. His little sister thought she might be in labor, so we ended up not going to dinner with his parents as planned, and I think DH is pretty annoyed with his family in general. I am annoyed with mil because she keeps complaining that certain people never received their shower invites, but really what are we supposed to do about it? They know when it is, so just calm the f down!

We ended up having pizza at my parents' house since today is my niece's birthday as well.

Also, from registry stalking, we saw that our bouncer and swing were both purchased! So exciting!

I pretty much know that, I have drank on antibiotics before, But I have heard it can make them less effective though. After everything I have been through I am not risking this shit getting infected!

My DH had to take flagyl when he had food poisoning over the summer and the Docs were not messing around when they warned him no alcohol. They must have mentioned it 15 times! Thankfully he heeded their warnings!

Oh and then there was the patient who got really offended with me when I asked if she could be pregnant - I legally have to ask this of every woman between the age of 12 and 60. You can just say no, rather than lamenting the fact your are fat...

ETA I have x-rayed her before, so its not the first time I have asked!

Dang it! Posted too soon and I had a pic! Second to last Bradley class today and we were all about celebrating our coaches. Our instructor had us make little onesies for them as a thank you, and I'm pretty proud of mine, considering I had 15 minutes to come up with an idea and execute. It was inspired by @MamaFantastic‌'s awesome little superhero cape she made me, which we will be using for announcement photos.

ETA: why with the upside down? I hate this app.

@Mamamonzo‌ if it makes you feel any better I haven't been to sleep yet either.

I've heard some times babies can get their days and nights confused in the beginning. As stinky as it sounds this may be normal till he gets used to everything.

OK, FB may be off limits for me today. I really wanted to just tell some idiot to fuck off when he was trying to school me on how "America" is not the name of a country. I was trying to help a friend find someone interested in "American literature." THEY said it, not me. Also, American literature is just a misnomer but it generally means literature from the USA.

Don't be a high and mighty European when you don't know what the fuck you're talking about!! And don't try to school me on the proper name of my home country.

We've been using pampers. Ran out and started in on the Huggies, Luke peed out of 3 diapers!! 1) I have always heard pampers are the best, I agree! 2) can't wait to use my cloth diapers!!!

Had a million dreams about breast feeding my baby. Not important that it was in a college frat house with bongs all around and that I started a fight with a stupid teen mom that also already had a premie that she left in her car over night...(not saying all teen moms are stupid, but this one was). So yeah I guess my subconscious is getting ready in a way.

Yeah, I spent half of last winter in North Dakota and the other half here. I use to think how nice winters were here last year since it hardly snowed and melted fast. I guess this year is making up for it....

It sounds common sense, I know, lol. But when you pull the diaper up and over, sometimes their tiny penis gets pushed to be pointing more up at their belly and that will cause a leak EVERY time. Tucking/pointing it down helps.

I seriously would've always pointed it up bc that seems more comfortable. That was a good tip.

Turns out I ran, yeah ran, out of bed to look for SO who was in the shower getting ready for school.

All I can think about now is how unprepared I am for emergencies.

Goal for today: come up with an emergency plan.
One that includes the LO, the dogs, SO and me.

Maybe they can squeeze you in at the office and do a NST? I had one last week after decreased movement and it typically takes 20 minutes or so...turns out LO was fine and it put my mind at ease. I'm having another tom just as a precaution w/ everything I had going on this weekend. Hope everything is ok!
