Just move the boxes out of your birthing area! We moved in last March and I still have unpacked boxes in the front room...at this point theyve become decor and I will probably never unpack them.

This, or just close your eyes. If you can't see the boxes, they are not there.

Been kinda MIA lately: These last 3 days have sucked so bad. Dealing with a medical issue that is non pregnancy related. But because I am 37 weeks pregnant it just makes everything worse. I'm in a lot of pain and at my wits end with all this. I guess I'll be calling my OB again tom, but short of them telling me to go to the ER I don't think there is much they can do. I just wish this would subside so I can get back to focusing on bringing this LO into the world. End vent. Debbie downer out :-(

Ugh. Terrible night of "sleep" if that's what you call it. 5 am here and I don't have to be up for the second day of this work thing for another hour but my hips hurt so bad from yesterday I can't get comfortable.

My coworker may get her wish. I think I'm going to play the pregnant card with my boss and ask her if we can leave early. I can't do this another day....

Yes! I wish I'd been informed to take advantage of 2nd tri to get things done, with that short lived return of energy and smaller bump size.

I'm so mad about this because I wanted to do all the things during second trimester and everyone was like "oh it's too early, don't do that yet, what's the rush, you have months" and now I'm tired and don't want to do anything! Some days I just want to birth baby in the bath tub because the hospital seems like too much work! Ugh.

I have been having this issue since I started leaking, the LC I know suggested cold packs and lotion to ease it.

@AprilMay9 after my week in the hospital I'm a new advocate for early bag packing. I would at least have your toiletries bag packed. Ironically target is having a sale this week on tank tops/tees for $5 so I went and bought a few of each, a few pairs of cheap sweats, & underwear to have in there. You don't really need much clothes at first since your in that stupid hospital gown where everyone gets a great view of your ass. Someone else can grab you the rest from home but there's something about not having anyone digging through your underwear drawer or picking out the wrong kinda deodorant. I never expected to start having to think I may go early everyone always said your healthy and 24 you'll be late, well now I'm just taking it day by day. I would like to stay a cabooser since I have zero things done.

@AprilMay9 - I think we have to same due date. I have started a bag with stuff I don't need and some purchased extras (baby take home clothes, a towel, pajamas, and some travel toothbrush sets for me & SO) but other than that I'm in the same boat. Some of my pre-preg yoga pants still fit, though, so I might throw a pair of those in there this weekend too.

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and haven't packed my bag yet...uh oh. I have some piles...like a pile of half the clothes I'll bring, a pile of clothes for her...my makeup/toiletries are always kept in a travel bag that hangs in my bathroom so hopefully I don't forget those...UHHHHH reality setting in!!!

So yesterday was crazy. I went to my regular dr appt and my blood pressure was really high so they sent me to l&d to be monitored and potentially induced. Luckily I wasn't and they sent me home but now it looks like I probably will be induced by this time next week when I'm 37 weeks. I might have an outside baby next week, how insane is that! The craziest part is my blood pressure has been slightly high the last few times but nobody ever seemed concerned about preeclampsia and then suddenly yesterday my bp was way high and there was protein in my urine. It all felt so surreal.

I didn't pack my bag with DS1 until the day after my due date. Luckily he came 2 days late. Procrastination FTW!

I'm 35wks and started packing mine yesterday. My doc mentioned it at my last appt and said 36 weeks is a good time to have most, if not all, of it packed. It seems like there's hardly anything in it but I went off my hospitals packing list. He also brought up getting a mattress cover just in case I leak/water breaks. It seems so close now... Ah!!

I really liked having a robe for after my csection. I was still in the hospital gown but put my robe on to walk the halls. I just had a knee length very light cotton robe so it takes up very little room in my bag, but covered me up
