I've decided that, since it is important to accustom my furbabies to the way things will change when baby comes home, I will take one for the team and lounge here in the nursery, in my comfy recliner until DH gets home.
My dog and I take our naps in the nursery. We left the guest bed in there.
I'm still working on dog learning her napping place here, as opposed to "OMG NEW ROOM YAY" chaos.  Cat is doing well, though he abandoned his nice window seat to sit on the changing table beside me.

  • He's also intermittently snoring, and I know he can't pretend snore THAT good lol
  • Oil changed, tires rotated, fuses replaced. Car is ready for baby, except for the car seat. I'm going to wait one more week (35 weeks) to get that sucker in.
I'm putting the car seat in this weekend.  This is insane and I'm not ready.
  • I was going to make something for dinner. Now I'm inclined to have us go out. Lazy + headache.

  • I feel like when I drink my coffee, baby gets wild. I feel bad, like my baby is getting strung out, but I really need my coffee!

My baby is getting strung out on water... Maybe I should just stick to Dr. Pepper and tea.

What a day! Got measured for bras and I'm a C!!! A whole C! She even had me try on a D bra! I was always an A before pregnancy and have been wearing A and B bras this whole time. Man I love pregnancy! Wooooo!
That was me when I was pregnant with DD! I was A or "barely B" before pregnancy and when I got measured during pregnancy I was a D!  8->

  • Watching last night's Grimm and the bad guy attacks a pregnant woman. It's pretty yucky :(

I watched this last night and it was horrible! I was convinced I was going to have nightmares after watching that scene in the beginning....The woman that got attacked was named Dana as well.... Eek....

I saw that last night! Creepy. Between that and the demon lady where you could see the baby moving in her belly, that show has given me quite a few creepy dreams!

  • OUUUCCHH! Fucking baby just did some crazy feet jerking thing. It hurt so bad.
  • Seriously though, someone come nest at my house. I have ice cream.

After our vacation is over I'm sure I'll walk in and go wild with the nesting. I've been cleaning the hotel room.

It has a kitchenette and DH made all this deliciousness last night, rather than wait for housekeeping I cleaned the whole mess and made the bed this morning...

That being said, depending on the ice cream I might come do your house first.

Haha I'm sure I'm just being paranoid but I can't help but feel that they're related
Haha I was the same way when I was pregnant with my first DD. She bounced off the walls when I drank coffee.

  • Well that was a fun night (not).  We were supposed to go to my BIL's ski condo last night, just DH, DS and I.  DS has had a cold and yesterday it took a turn for the worse.  He went from the occasional cough and a runny nose to a headache, complaining about his tummy hurting and having loose stools.  He didn't eat his lunch.  When he woke up from his nap, he was having asthma like symptoms (which he only gets when he has a cold).  I gave him his inhaler, which he responded to, but he still wasn't feeling well, so we made the decision to stay home.

Good thing we did.  7:00 last night he ran into the bathroom and threw up.  9:00 last night he was having his breathing issues again, only this time he wasn't responding to the inhaler.  We ended up taking him to the ER. One dose of oral steroids, three nebulizer treatments and 3.5 hours later we were on our way home.

We're all short on sleep, but at least DS is feeling better this morning.

I hope everyone is having a good day.

  • I'm annoyed at the big deals people are making about minor shit. "I just wanna advocate for myself". Ummmm it's anti fucking biotics not an induction.

Your doctor is out to get you. Duh.
    I know right!
  • @twirple poor little guy! Glad he is feeling better.. Family nap time!
  • I cleaned the house yesterday and did enough cooking that I don't have to spend more than ten minutes or so on dinner tonight. And I feel like crap again. So.. Pretty much the only thing getting done today is I'm buying DH's bday present (because I've put it off long enough that it is my last opportunity to do so while he is at work). And then I'm returning to my couch and my Netflix.

  • I read through the gender reveal thread. Hey, I'm bored! I have to say the OP really held her own well. Too bad a ton of naysayers threw her thread all out of whack. Not that I love gender reveals, but good for her for holding her own and staying classy.

And I HATE that every time I see that wench Berry's avatar I simultaneously get angry and a craving for frozen yogurt.
