It's an outside baby movement monitor that tracks all of baby's movements (including breathing) and alerts you when movement is low or has completely stopped. You attach it to their diaper. It's can give you peace of mind with being concerned with SIDS.

RE video monitors, we LOVE ours. It's really nice to be able to see why DS is crying to help decide whether I should go in there or not. When he was really little (immobile in the crib and swaddled), we just set the camera on the crib mattress close to his head so I could see his breathing. DS1 and DS2 will be sharing a room (I think), so we'll just mount it to the wall between the cribs and rotate back and forth depending on who we need to see.

No kidding..I don't mind the country songs, it just cracks me up. There's a reason we listen to country music in the car (most appropriate, non kid music) LOL.

Lol we listen to country too. DD sings the lines "catfish dinner winner winner" all the time.

I'm so miserable today. I'm in so much pain and my hip won't stop popping out. All I can do is be miserable on the couch and I'm feeling like a horrible mom/wife! I miss hanging out with my boys.

Pregnancy Brain of the Month award goes to me! DH and I went out to eat and DD was getting noisy toward the end so he took her out to the car and waited for me to pay. So I paid the bill, went out to the parking lot, and accidentally went to the wrong ass car (parked right next to DH's, similar in color/style but not the same) and opened the door to get in. The woman inside was cracking up at me and so was DH. X_X

No, but seriously, FFSC? I LOVE my in-laws way more. I wish they weren't so far away. Now I bet that's terrible.

Loving my in-laws is a side effect of having in-laws who are super sweet and want to be very involved but very respectful of boundaries. Especially when your own family doesn't know what a boundary is! If my in-laws and my fam weren't in the same area, we would want to live closer to them...

I think I am paying the price for being productive yesterday. I didn't sleep half bad last night, but I woke up at 9am, then I took a nap from 10-12. Then after a quick lunch run, I took a nap from 2-4. AM I THE ONLY ONE THIS TIRED!?

Seriously though, I should just not be productive.

@BiggerinRealLife You look fabulous! I am also jealous of your short sleeves and flip flops. Another polar vortex heading our way this week with high temps in the single digits. I'm sending Mother Nature a very stern letter.

@fireflygirl12 I like both Miles and Owen! I would go with Miles though. You really can't go wrong with either name.

Shower was an overwhelming success! My Mom ans sister did a "Lorax" theme and they did an awesome job!!!! Overwhelmed by everyones generosity! Little girl is so surrounded by love and she doesn't even know it yet!

I officially have the maturity of a 12 year old boy. We had our all day child birth class today, part of which was to go over massage and relaxation techniques. I told DH that I was nervous about this part because I was feeling really gassy and I didn't want to fart in the middle of the class (pregnancy is so glamorous!)....

So we were sitting on the floor and the instructor told the birth partners to move so that they were sitting behind the moms. DH went to move and let one rip. It wasn't that loud, but he whispered loudly "oh good god!"...I don't know if anyone in the class noticed but regardless, I started laughing and couldn't stop... I seriously was crying I was laughing so hard....I still can't think about it without laughing hysterically....I'm sorry but farts are funny!!

I burped in my class and my SO was like "wow real lady like" and the other moms were laughing. I couldn't control it! So all I said what shut up, I'm pregnant.

I used to almost suffocate DD with my boobs when bfing her. I specifically would try to pay close attention to make sure I didn't!
