aronie82 You may still be able to only count your income if you consolidate because you are paying loans on your income based on 2014 and you haven't paid taxes on that income yet. It's more paper work because instead of just uploading your 2013 tax returns you have to enter everything in manually and then also prove what your income is with a pay stub. Then next year you would be required to file separately. It might be worth it though if you are really stressing out this year with child care expenses. Also, you can count your baby as a dependent even if you are still pregnant so make sure and include that! One last thing to look in to....I don't know what you do, but for some professions there are public assistance loan repayment assistance programs. They actually pay all or a percentage of your loan payment every month if you are working for a non-profit and meet whatever qualifications they have. These programs are offered through the federal government, state, employers and sometimes the school where you got your degree. Something to check out!
Being at my parents house for the week = watching cable while they work! Watching "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" and wondering HOW that happens?! Especially when you've been experiencing classic pregnancy symptoms for months and never thought to, IDK, VISIT A DOCTOR?!?
I remember having horrible cramping for almost a week following ovulation and thinking "OMG that hurts! Maybe it's a cyst bursting or something... I should get that checked out ASAP". But then, maybe I was just a hypochondriac?
This girl is blaming her fatness for not knowing. Her mom said she never showed, she mentioned during the last three months eating everything in sight, excessive weight gain, and nausea. Wouldn't you at least Google symptoms??
LMAO Dr Google says "possible ailments include: *Pregnancy *Cancer *Ebola *Gas
Has anyone noticed that their teeth have moved during pregnancy? My jaw has been bugging me for the last month+ and I noticed last night that my bite has changed. The actual position of my teeth doesn't look any different, it's just the way my uppers/lowers fit together now that's different.
Yes, according to my dentist this is common. I wear retainers every night and they are definitely tighter at night than they used to be just from the slight shifting during the day.
I wish I was having a shower, mostly because I want someone to get me some A&A swaddling blankets One of my friends asked if I wanted one, but I told her that I didn't want to come off as gift grabby (DS1 is only 17mo) and thought I would pass and maybe we should all just do a girl's spa day or something instead. Totally jealous of all the awesome stuff people are getting from their showers!
Excuse me while I bawl my eyes out. DH just met with his new boss to fill out paperwork, etc. and he told DH he could take as many days off for the birth as needed. I told DH to be sure and find out what kind of cookies that man likes...

We have to say goodbye to our girl today. 9 years wasn't long enough to spend with her. I am so heartbroken and don't know how I will get by without her.

I'm so sorry, you must feel awful. It's so hard to lose a pet. Great big hugs to you.
I don't know about you, but I fully intend on weighing myself when I go into labor and then again immediately after just to see how much the scale drops. I do the same thing when I've got a massive dookie on board too...
When I got home from the hospital after having DS1, I checked and I had only lost 6lbs. DS was 9, so what the what?!?! Swelling/water retention really was a bitch for me pp. I was able to wear all my rings my entire pregnancy, but had to take them off for 2 weeks pp. Go figure.
This was me too! Scale-wise I lost less than DD weighed. I lost a lot more within a week or two of going home. So don't be surprised if you don't drop much weight at first. There's a lot of fluids and junk that takes awhile to lose.

Oh @cgoldian I'm so sorry. As someone who just made it through her first week without her 11yo furbaby, I can say that it gets easier. I still think of awesome things that he used to be able to do, and I've not yet put all of his things away (his kennel is still set up in our room, for example), so I have this constant reminder. But I have to keep telling myself that we did the right thing, and he's in a better place now, no longer suffering. My heart goes out to you and your family. I'm sorry for your loss. *big hugs*
My mom is throwing me a sprinkle which I think is so nice of her. As of yesterday there are two weeks until the sprinkle. She just sent invites today. Buh.
No promotion this month. Only 2 people in the entire army in DH job got promoted...and he was not in those 2. It's beyond frustrating. I feel so bad for DH, he's giving up hope.
I'm watching a documentary called "When Animals Bite Back" and it is angering me!! I've only watched 2 cases thus far - but it saddens me that it is always the animal that pays the price. People use them for entertainment, taunt them, expect unnatural responses from them, and cage them...and then kill them when they 'act out'. GRRR. Animals are NOT for your entertainment people!!!
Crap - I was really rooting for your DH too @Tferr02! It sucks that he's getting discouraged - I know it must be hard to have to keep waiting and waiting. I don't know how the system works, but is there someone he can talk to about any extra steps to try and take? Even if there isn't anything he can do, sometimes asking can make all the difference in the world, and at least it can make him feel like he's still doing something to accomplish the goal!
Thanks. I really thought he was going to get it this month. The best way to describe it is there is a central computer that makes up points needed to get promoted, the amount of points needed changes every month, depending how many people the army needs to promote. It doesn't matter that my DH work believes he should be promoted or that he is already doing the higher up job and just not receiving the pay. He has done everything he can to get these points, the only way he can get more is deploying or his unit sending him to schools. He's going away for a school in May for 6 weeks so that will help hopefully. Otherwise it's just sitting here every month hoping the magic computer will be nice.
