Oh my gosh I completely forgot about Amy Poehler! But I only know/love her from Parks and Rec, so I don't know if I can confidently say I have a crush on her.

It really was...I really wanna go get some more before I put the leftovers away, but I have a feeling I'd regret it in about a half hour.

I think the baby is trying to pry open my abs and crawl out. I am in tears from the pain, and usually I think I'm pretty tough. I don't understand how I'm going to deal with two more months of this and/or labor.

Cuz I may punch one tonight.
Just got a notice that my insurance won't cover my GTT test. Not some random freaking test or an extra optional u/s, my FREAKING GTT. Their reason? It wasn't "authorized".
Uhhhh da faq? Do they think I just marched into the lab and said "here's my blood, check me for excess frosting"?! Of course I had lab orders!!! But since they refuse to recognize my MW as an actual viable care provider, apparently I have to pay OOP for a test that if I HADN'T gotten and had actually ended up with GD, I would have cost them a hell of a lot more than some freaking "unauthorized" test. I mean, seriously. I'm so tired of feeling like I'm being punished for the birth plan we've chosen. I'm so tired of being punished financially for the care of my unborn child. Maybe I could afford better insurance now if we wouldn't have had to spend $5000 OOP for my miscarriage last summer because my "insurance" then gave zero fucks. (Deductible was $3500)
I'm so tired of stressing out about money, but I'm already overwhelmed at the thought of working another month before I quit my job (more power to ya those who are working til your water breaks, but I know my limit and I am already pushing it) and DH doesn't make enough in a month at his internship for us to even pay rent.
I'm tired of having to be the one to keep our family running. I've been patient for so long, but with this baby coming, I can't keep the house running and pay all of our bills while DH gets a pat on the head for finally doing the dishes.

*sobs*

Cake for all of you for getting through that. I feel like such a mess tonight.

Grabbed a blanket out of the closet, must have been overlooked for a wash. I'm wearing a black shirt and I stood up, it had Roxie (my dog that passed in November) hair all over it.. Seriously ugly cry just happened for the last half hour. Miss my girl

I would like to share an annoyance. The belly touching poll reminded me of it.

There's an older couple at one of my home churches. We've recently started going to this one again since we've moved back, so they haven't seen me throughout my whole pregnancy. But the time before last when we went there, the husband asked if I was having a boy or girl, even though I was pretty sure he asked already. Just figured he had forgotten. No big deal, so I reminded him that I'm having a girl. He said, "Oh. I don't know.. It's looking like a boy!" I was like, "Hmm.. that's funny because everyone else says it looks like I'm carrying a girl." He responded by saying, "I guess we'll see!" I told his wife about this encounter, and she agreed with him that it looked like I was carrying a boy.

Last Sunday the wife asked if I had been to the doctor yet, and I told her when I had gone to my last appointment and when my next one was. She asked me if I knew what I was having. (!?!) I told her AGAIN that I'm having a girl, and she gave me a questioning, doubtful look. This time I had already gotten a 4D ultrasound and let her know that it was affirmed that I'm indeed having a girl. She proceeded to feel all over my belly, and I was expecting a prediction afterwards, but one never came. I think someone had interrupted with a separate question or remark that had taken my attention away from her.

If they ask me again or tell me it looks like I'm having a boy, I don't know what I'll do. Scream probably. ~X( Who knows what else!

@pineconey so many hugs. You absolutely should not be punished or feel like you are being punished because of your birth plan. I'm so sorry you are so stressed.

But from what I know about you on here I think you are going to do great! Sometimes we're amazed by our own strength and you seem to be a pretty strong woman!
