Longest Thread EVER! (aka Random Thoughts Thread )

Felt like kind of a loser riding one of the scooter carts at Walmart earlier, but there was no way I was up to walking around the store while we shopped. Went to a few other places with no such carts, and the way I feel right now let me know that it was worth riding. My next dose of Tylenol can't get here fast enough.

However, greatly kind MIL and SIL cleaned and organized our apartment, and almost everything we've been able to bring over so far is put away. Plus, MIL washed all the bedding and things for LO's crib and put it all on for me, so now the crib's ready for a baby! A bit of one of those "shit's getting real" moments, lol. Andplusalso, SIL bought us a bunch of stuff we needed for the apartment that's packed away God knows where in MIL's garage, like a dish rack and bathroom towels.

DH "are you doing something with your hair, or are you just leaving it like that?"

Well I WAS planning on leaving it in the messy knot on my head since we're just going to dinner, apparently I need to do something with it. :-L

I am soooooooo beyond annoyed right now. DD is driving me nuts. DH is coming home late. I just want to be left the eff alone but I know that won't happen once he gets home. I'm thinking I may sneak into the bathtub for a while.

And of course when we do put time into our hair they complain that we're taking too long.

@mamamonzo how obnoxious! my DH is kind of the opposite and drives me crazy. I'll say I need to fix my hair (wet, falling out, sticking up, whatever) and he's always like why? It looks fine. We are just going to dinner.

I don't know what to do about ny sister. She just walked into my house (again) because I forgot to relock it after I got the mail. She asked what we were doing for dinner tonight and I told her. She started crying (she's 18) because she doesn't like what we're having. I told her she should be more appreciative because she's not paying for it, plus I didn't offer her to eat anyway. So she got mad and slammed my front door. Uhhh?

I hate that she feels that she's entitled to everything. I might explode next time I see her. It's frustrating.

I did lock the door! It's super cold out though. I guarantee she won't be gone long.

HE PASSED!!! DH passed his test!!!!!! He got the minimum required score, but he passed!!!
I told him if he did that he could choose our dinner spot. Steakhouse for dinner and massages tomorrow.

My neighbors crack me up - I love them since they make me feel like I'm back in college. The post office delivered a package to me in their mailbox. This is the second time the post office has done it in the past two weeks. The first time, my neighbor just brought it over. This time? He's holding it hostage for some of my cupcakes.

I asked for a manager to call me -- and then she accused me of being inflexible cause she found me one prenatal appointment for Sunday 40 minutes away at a different location. And I couldn't do that one since DH is working Sunday. They were not helpful at all and I am cancelling my membership.

I told DH tonight that is prefer he only have a couple drinks (or none) at the parties we go to from here on out for the rest of the pregnancy. I don't think he was pleased, but when I asked he said "well it's not like I can say no".

Try 9 months of sobriety. I don't think a third of that is too much to ask to give your pregnant wife the peace of mind that you'd be able to drive her to the hospital whenever she happened to go into labor.

She came back and asked me to help her with a job app and I did. Then as soon as she was done, I told her I need time with my family and I'll talk to her on Monday. I really did rip her a new one, and told her about everything she's done that's caused me stress. So when she was leaving she apologized and said thanks. I locked all the doors after I reminded her that I still won't be hearing from her all weekend long. It's like I'm on vacation.

I'm done with her bullshit and it feels so good! Thanks for helping me out! You guys are truly the best.

I am totally digging being pregnant right now. I work on a dairy farm, and I might say the farmers are slightly sexist... None of their sisters work on the farm and you will never see a woman drive a tractor (They were amazed when I knew how to drive a bobcat). But I'm totally for it, the one son I was milking with today told me how I shouldn't be carrying milk buckets and I just said "well yeah now that I'm pregnant I don't" and his response "no, there are plenty of us around here that none of the girl milkers should have to bring buckets up. We were raised better than that." I take pride in being able to carry two full buckets of milk, but damn I love a little chivalry. Whenever anything falls on the ground, they will pick it up for me, opening and closing gates? No problem, they've got it. At first I felt like they thought I was helpless, but now I just feel like they're spoiling me! And just wait til this little girl come out, she's gonna have a ball running around the farm with all these men doting on her!

Took a bath, painted the crib and part of the twin bed. I feel much better. I got DDs paint for her room (teal) so I get to start that tomorrow. I'm SO ecxited to see it finished.

@Lindsay808 I think if you were leaking amniotic fliud, then yes you would probably still be feeling it. As embarrassing as it may sound, you might have leaked urine during sex (happened to me before). If discharge has been normal all day I wouldn't be worried.

@poru I don't get how they can just cancel on you. Do they just have one prenatal masseuse and she's sick or something? And you'd think if they can bump you they could bump someone else. These massages are freaking necessary, and can affect work etc. unacceptable. If it's a massage envy they're all franchised, so I would go on yelp and write a review detailing your experience. That usually gets franchise owners attention.

DH and I attempted to have sex today for the first time in over a month. It was more awkward and weird than our first time. It was horrible. I think I am over pregnant sex. We never had this much difficulty with any of my other pregnancies. I am bummed.
