@jellysparkles Where did that broad come from??? I officially think that there's a troll conspiracy to spark up A14 drama. First we get some random asking yet ANOTHER question about subsequent showers, then we get this post which got a controversial response and now this random ass GBCB. I tried this once and my chicken was totally burned when I got home from work.  I think it's a good crock pot meal if you are home to keep an eye on it or not working 8 hours.  I was so bummed that mine was ruined but I'll try it again on a weekend.  

My coworkers told me of a good crock pot recipe for chicken...Put 4 frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot with a packet of hidden valley ranch powder and 1 cup of Franks's hot sauce (or maybe it was 1 1/2 cups).  Shred the chicken when cooked and use it for buffalo chicken sandwiches, salad, etc.

My aunt and uncle who have not been in my life at all, just sent me a big box of cute baby girl things. It brought tears to my eyes! I am so shocked.

Andplusalso, there is a way to intelligently and respectfully disagree with other people's responses and have your own opinion (like @deidremaria did) without white knighting and making yourself look like a dumbass. Yet so many still choose to go full throttle toward stupidity. It must be the allure of the shiny armor.

I vacuumed the living room, swiffer wet mopped the dining room/kitchen floors and got my car washed.  I'm pretty amazed at my accomplishments today.  All the while, DH has been painting the doors and trim in the master BR and nursery and will be painting the walls tomorrow.  I really hate painting so am glad that being 32 weeks pregnant is a good excuse not to help.

I'm watching "Baby Boom" and wishing I could make enough money cooking baby applesauce to stay at home with my baby. Also, baked a pistachio-chocolate Bundt cake. Feeling pretty accomplished!

I bought marshmallow crispy oreos after drooling over all the oreo talk on the board lately.  They are delicious!  Can't decide which I like better - these, or the lemon ones.  I'll just have to eat them all so I can make an educated decision.

So over the past couple days baby has been moving around much less. There is hardly any spontaneous movement. However hen I sit down, drink something sweet and don't move she will give me the 10 kicks in an hour. Is it normal to feel decreases movement at this stage? (31 w for mobile bumpies)

Ok guys I know I've been whoring on the corner of attention and crafty lately but here's another project that kept me busy while my baby daddy (I can never keep a straight face when I use that phrase) is at work. I bought this shelf a few months ago for the kitchen in my old apartment and I figured if I dress it up I can totally put it in the master bedroom. What do you gals think?

I was concerned too so I asked my doc. He said that as long as you are still getting distinct movements there should be no cause for concern. They are starting to develop sleep patterns so you might not feel them as often. Also he said if she is facing my back I wouldn't notice her kicks as much. Its only when I feel no movement should I be concerned.

I refuse to comment on DD's bad behavior with my mom. Every time I do my mom tells me I'm being too hard on her. Okay lady. Then you can just deal with her kicking you in the back as you tell her super nicely not too. HAVE FUN!

CRAP!!  my favorite pair of skinny jeans (the ones i wear 80% of the time) have two huge rips in the butt!  it's not even on a seam or anything...  it's just smack in the middle of my butt, as though a cat was hanging from my cheeks by its claws.

greeeeeeaaattt.  i am so not not replacing these jeans.  people are just going to have to come to terms with seeing slivers of my underwear for the next 7 weeks

I hate only having one car. I now have the pleasure of bundling up, digging out my car and driving in this stupid, crappy snow to pick up my husband from work! Ugh!

DH has been super quiet and barely responds to me when I talked to him last night and today. He stayed in bed until noon even though he was awake, then when I came to join him and tried to snuggle, he got up and went to the grocery store. Read a book all afternoon while I baked for this party he wants to go to tonight. And just now, when I tried to talk to him and ask him if anything was wrong, he said nothing was wrong, closed his computer and went to shower.

I am completely dumbfounded and am getting really annoyed. Obviously, something is wrong and if it's him being pissed at me over the no drinking thing I wish he'd just tell me. I was in a ton of pain last night and cried in bed and he just got really uncomfortable and barely spoke to me when all I wanted him to do was hold me.

I just feel so confused and upset and emotional right now, and the last thing I want to do is get ready to go to some stupid party with him. Where he will act weird all night, barely speak to me and then go to sleep as soon as we get home.

tell him you're not going unless you talk it out first.  family comes first.

@stace0616 I'm sorry. Men can get buthurt over the strangest things. I agree with pp on the id rather just argue it out and be done with it. My DH can be the same way - we were cleaning and I criticized his inability to check the vacuum back (it was overflowing inside the vacuum). I walked away and could hear him mumbling under his breath over the vacuum noise (not sure how that's under his breath - subtlety is not his forte). I just walked back over and said if you're going to mumble about me, just make sure I can't hear you. For whatever reason, calling him on his crap seems to work.

I hope he works his issues out and you guys can have a great night!

Trying to explain the difference between BH and true labor contractions to my DH is a hoot.

"Braxton-Hicks are like having a charlie horse from my crotch to my sternum, only not painful.  Just tight and makes it hard to breathe, but I can still walk and talk.  True contractions will have me red-faced, gritting my teeth, and unable to speak or probably even grunt." 

 So he tells me I'll have to make a sign to tell him because he probably won't be able to tell the difference.  I told him I'd just point frantically at my stomach like a choking person does their throat. XD

@stace0616 I'm sorry your DH is acting that way toward you. I agree with pp-you should definitely talk it out before going to the party. Not worth you both being miserable when you can just argue or talk it out and move on. Take it from me...I'm two for two yesterday and today in arguing and breakdowns at DH. But now it's better!! Holy cow. I am so tired!! My back is killing me and all I really did was sit around the whole shower. There was a little bit of drama between my mom and MIL since my mother is always a drama queen and didn't do any of the things my MIL asked her to help with. But what can I do!?

I will say I got tons of duplicates from both Target and BRU because their registries have been down, and don't update quickly! That just means DH and I get to go shopping! My favorite activity!

Feeling very loved!! Hope everyone had a great Saturday! Bed time for this mama!

Sorry, I just saw this but yes I did! I'll post it again so you can see it. They came out pretty but really wild and the curls were smaller than I wanted so this time I'm going to twist bigger sections so it's not so curly-q looking. It still came out pretty though!
