Also, mini complaint, I've been laying on the couch all day (not complaining about that!) with no heartburn. then I get up to go to bed, lay down, and get massive heartburn and acid reflux. Rude.

@aviola329 ((hugs)) I'm so sorry you have to even make this choice. I honestly don't know what I'd do....I think that I wouldn't even be able to make choice until I heard the latest test results.

2 inches of snow and they've already called for a 2 hour delay tomorrow.
This happens like once every other year here, so everyone is flipping out. And it directly affects the programs I manage but OH WAIT- I took tomorrow off. SUCKAS!!!!

Most people do wait 1-2 seconds, but people in N.C. don't start moving for 5+ seconds. That's ridiculous. I don't really experience this when I go back to New Orleans.

I've been in Baltimore and D.C. around Christmas time. It's hell on Earth.

I can't really offer you any advice @aviola329, but I pray that you receive clarity for your decision. It's a tough one to make.

@Aviola329 I'm gonna advocate for Stanford because, as @poru said, their NICU is gold standard. And I have three friends there: one's on the nursing board and is a benefits consultant, one is a PICU nurse, and one is a social worker. I'd trust anyone in their hands. And if you deliver before I do I can come visit! And bring cookies! And pray with you guys! And cookies!

Dh and I went to the first session of our childbirth classes tonight. Everything went fine, except, well, let me tell you about the couple behind us....
They looked to be about late 20's. Kinda "hipsterish". I noticed the dad was a bit talkative at first, but, whatever, no big deal. As class moves on he just doesn't shut up. EVERY. TWO. SECONDS. He cracks some lame joke. He is trying to "whisper" but obviously not  successfully. And the mom. She laughs or giggles LOUDLY at every stupid joke he tells. Ugh.

At first I just rolled my eyes. Whatever. My hubby can be a total goof and cracked a few jokes at some of the more "silly" aspects of the class. Even the nurse would crack a joke here and there about how goofy a particular picture was or whatnot. All in good fun. But not this asshat. He thought he was the next George Carlin. And his girlfriend just kept perpetuating the fact that he thought he was funny by laughing at everything he said. For 2 1/2 hours.

We got to the last part of class which was the whole laying on the floor with pillows and blankets and practicing touch exercises and breathing techniques. It's all awkward and everyone was giggling but you just roll with it. But not funny guy. Oh no. He had to use this opportunity to crack the most ridiculous jokes possible, telling his girlfriend to "quit your bitching", "suck it up woman" etc...during the supportive talk part and whatever other possible annoying thing you could do. Then he kept making "Simpsons" references and exclaiming "no one here gets me". Oh, I get you asshat, and I know your references all too well, your just not funny. SHUT UP!
I am pretty sure my 17 year old nephew would have handled the situation better. I wanted to throat punch him so hard it wasn't even funny. Then I wanted to pregnant round house kick his girlfriend to the face for enabling him all night. Maybe I am just old, or "hormonal" and lack patience for such things these days but this guy drove me freaking NUTS all night long. Mind you this was not a free class, there is a $75 fee involved. If it were somehting we went to at the rec center or something it would be one thing, but we all paid good money to be here. Cracking a few jokes is one thing, being a beligerent assface is quite another.  I was not the only person annoyed by this, other couples were talking about it as well. Even DH was annoyed and he has quite a bit more patience than I do these days.
Ugh. Sorry this is long. I just had to rant this out. I hope they don't show up next week. If they do, we will be sitting on the other side of the room!

OMG, I'm so over this pubic bone shifting nonsense.  It hurts to walk, I yelp when I roll over, I yelp when I sit down, I yelp when I stand up (peeing every 10 minutes is wonderful, let me tell you).  Definitely going to ask DH to talk to his HR/benefits department at work on Monday and see if our insurance covers chiropractic procedures, 'cause I've had enough of this already.  The only good thing I can see is the hope that maybe it means things will shift enough that I won't rip open like the San Andreas fault in Escape from LA when LO pushes her way through.

On the brighter side of things, MIL and youngest SIL decided to let me know they're coming over tomorrow morning to help me get our apartment in a bit better order, since I've been having trouble getting around since before we even moved here.

Neither. If I let it air dry it's like a wavy frizzy mess.

It's super easy. Just make sure the headband you use isn't too tight otherwise it can cause a headache. I used this loose, cloth one and it worked perfect. Also, if you don't want crazy curls like this then I suggest twisting with bigger sections. I did about 1 inch sections and now it's wild!

I'M WITH YOU.

Our neighbors got a puppy and instead of TRAINING the dog, they just shove it outside and let it cry.  Every. Single. Morning.  At 6:30am, and then all day, and always again at about 10pm.  Our bedroom window faces their backyard and the door so literally the dog is right outside the window howling.  The other day I yelled "SHUT UP" and the lady was outside, so I'm pretty sure she heard me.  Get it together, or don't get a dog. 

Ok, end rant.  It makes me really, really angry if you couldn't tell... Haha

Oh that's annoying! These people have 4 very annoying dogs. The wife lets them out every morning at 7am and they bark like crazy and she leaves them out until right before her husband gets home at about 5:30. I hate it because I can't let my dogs out all day because the neighbor dogs go insane which make mine bark and I can't handle my dogs barking. My son and I can't go in our backyard either because they go crazy and are very intimidating. We have a privacy fence and they have actually knocked boards out trying to get us or my dogs. 4 more months until our lease is up and we move.

Yes! I track my food intake to monitor my nutrients (mostly protein) and I had almost 3000 calories one day (included oranges, apples, lettuce, onions, avocados, etc. so I don't feel too bad) and I was still not satisfied!!! Yikes!
