Tonight, however, I'm craving appetizers. I hate chain restaurants, but my dad is visiting from out of state and there is a TGI Fridays by his hotel. I'm thinking a 3-for-1 appetizer sampler may be in my future: boneless Kung Pao wings, fried green beans and pretzels with beer cheese dipping sauce?? Yes, please!!

DH just snapped when I asked him to come watch TV with me. So stupid of me. I should have never asked him to do something on a Friday night because he has too much work to do. Even though he had pretty much all day to do it. I told him how his snapping bothered me and he just said that I have been snapping at him for the past few weeks.

Oh. So it's totally justified then. My bad.

I need a good Netflix show to watch to take my mind off things.

I just got ridiculously lucky... Came back from sonic with some ice cream, walked into the house, checked facebook... and apparently there's now a huge accident right outside our neighborhood where I was JUST driving! They had two helicopters and an ambulance on the scene!

@Lindsay808 I so empathize with you tonight. My DH had the day off and did nothing today, but he is in a crappy mood and is taking it out on me. He is still playing video games. We were invited to hang out with friends tonight, but I doubt we are going.

DH has been sleeping on the couch for nearly an hr now. Sure sign he's sick. I'm trying to be nice since his birthday is this coming week and he doesn't know that I'm surprising him with a dinner date tomorrow night and he's also going to attend his surprise bday party on Sunday, but come on!! Buck up buttercup. Sick grown men = big huge babies. He better get better ASAP. You only turn 40 once, right?!

Promised DH I would finally throw out my favorite pair of shoes (red toms with silver embroidery) at the end of today. They are beyond tattered and he hates them. I've had them 3 years and have worn them a TON.

So freaked out! It's 10:00 and our doorbell rang. We're a close neighborhood so I figure it was a neighbor. It was a random dude asking for pop cans to buy diapers for his kid. At 3 in the afternoon I wouldn't really think much of it. At 10 it makes me feel like he is casing the joint. He went to every house too. I wish DH didn't have to work tonight!

In other news, I think I just went through a time machine. One minute it was 4:00 and I was just closing my eyes for a minute, the next it was 5:30 and DH was suddenly home, the next it was 7:00 and he was getting back from the gym. I swear, my couch is a time machine.

I want a drink with you guys too! I'm so pissed at SO for driving to Tennessee with his brother and now trying to drive home 10 hours in a snow storm. I was bitchy and controlling for telling him not to go. I secretly hope his ass gets stuck hungry and cold (but not hurt

My favorite has been Mother Love nipple cream. Nice and thin, not goopy and a little goes a long way. Loved it while I was nursing and when I weaned since I got dry itchy nips during that time too.
