Do you guys remember that time I posted about that Craigslist sale with all the stuff I was excited about because I'd have some projects for around the house? Wellllll.... Here's the first project I completed. I turned this coffee table into a bench for the foot of our bed.
@pineconey you can slap me if you already said what you're doing for this mucus, but have you done a sinus rinse/netti pot? I get a really sick satisfaction out of seeing all that junk be flushed out when I do mine. I hope it passes soon! I was on amoxicillin around 13wks for a sinus infection that lasted over a month..maybe you need to venture down the drug road. feel better!
I think the netti would make me vomit, but last night I probably would have tried anything. Benadryl usually helps some, but last night- nada. Doing ok right now, scared for bedtime tonight.... @-)
Well, thinking of you and your boogers! Perhaps you need a Morgan freeman bedtime story...
All this baby positioning/repositioning talk is flashing me back to the pregnant twerking thread we had ages back. Fess up, who said they'd do it when we hit third tri??
Not me! But if this happens, I will need proof on video.

Ok I know I've mentioned this too much now and nobody cares, but HOLY BUMP. Here is one of the photos they put on Facebook from today. Where did this huge belly come from?! How in the world can it keep getting bigger for the next 3 months?!
So the twerking comments reminded me about my mom asking if I could still put my feet behind my head (I have a genetic disorder that makes me super flexible). Normally it is so easy for me to do, but for the first time in my life I can't do it tonight! I'm sure it was a hilarious sight to watch me try to do it, luckily nobody witnessed that.

We got about ten boogie squeezers at our shower a few weeks back, if you need some help with that snot.. (I know there's a real name for those things but I can't for the life of me remember what it is)
I feel like my crazy emotions and tiredness has been back from first tri. I've cried over so many ridiculous things today. I can deal as long as the nausea stays away!
DH has informed me that pregnancy makes me snore. I'm not ok with this development! He doesn't regularly snore but right at this moment, he is snoring the faintest little bit, and that makes me real happy in a snarky kind of way. I don't snore, you snore!! (Hopefully my snore is as little and cute as his and I'm not sawing logs in my sleep)
I'm slightly jealous and mad at myself for booking DH a massage this weekend and not booking one for myself too. I figured I would let him be pampered for once.... Stupid stupid stupid.

There's still time to fix it!

at the end of my birthing class tonight, they took us on a mini tour of labor and delivery & the post-partum rooms. the hospital tour where i'm delivering at is next saturday. it really put everything in a new light and really was a slap of 'shit just got real'.
oh and the commercial for the sonic 'red velvet molten lava cake' looks so amazing i could lick my TV. i think there needs to be one in my future ..... seriously
My husband is also one of those freaks that can fall asleep about 4 seconds after his head hits the pillow. Which sucks cause he snores. Especially if he has been drinking, oh lord, then it is like he has a chainsaw in his nose! I have to wake him up like 5 times a night to roll over so I can try to fall asleep before he starts up again.
I'm having some wine. A cheap-ish one I really liked before pregnancy. And it tastes funny. Trying to decide if it's a bad bottle or if it's pregnancy taste buds. They haven't negatively affected too many other tastes, but seems to throw off my wine palate quite a bit.

Oh my gosh! Sometimes I'm so scared of life with this baby it takes my breath away! And sometimes I love it so much it makes my heart skip! Is this a taste of what motherhood feels like?

Ugh....my SO moans in his sleep (in addition to snoring). It's like there is a ghost haunting the bedroom. Super unsettling!

Both DH and I don't snore (win!), but I can relate to this! I wake myself up every few nights now because I make a single snorting noise. So weird. I run the humidifier and I think it helps - give it a try!
I think we need a humidifier in the worst way. It is usually so humid here and my sinuses are so angry at being so dry from running the heat and the dry cold outside. Springtime, come on!!
I feel like my crazy emotions and tiredness has been back from first tri. I've cried over so many ridiculous things today. I can deal as long as the nausea stays away!
Yup. I am cranky as hell and want to punch all the things. I don't like being cranky!!!
I swear my husband is the loudest nose blower in the world. He blows his nose EVERY morning 5 times. Why?!??! And it echos through the house, wakes me up every time and wakes our son up about 50% of the time. I wake up with evil thoughts towards him most mornings.
Some guy from corporate is here and we were supposed to dress "business casual" instead of dressing down like we normally do on Fridays. I wore jeans. Yay for me! My excuse is being 7 months pregnant.
Ladies I could use some T&Ps if you can spare some. We have a level II ultrasound this afternoon and I am very nervous. I am praying everything is ok with our little guy. I really appreciate it! I will update as soon as we get some answers.
So my dog is back to acting like her normal self which makes me very happy! We are going on a mini-babymoon this weekend and a good friend is staying at our place which makes it a little easier to go. We are staying at our favorite B&B and I am going to AW the hell out of the bathtub in our room. I plan on spending as much time as possible in there!
ETA: autocorrect changed "possible" to "piss dibble". WTF?
All this talk about flowers is making me extremely excited to finally be able to plant my own garden this spring! I know I'll probably be huge pregnant or with a NB but I really want to try to plant some vegetables and a pretty flower bed. My mom has a beautiful garden so I'm eager to make mine look like hers.
I finally caught up in the RTT. It seems like everyone has been having a rough week. I hope everyone that's sick starts to feel better. I'm sure this weather isn't helping. Thoughts and prayers for everyone who needs them or has experienced a loss or potential loss of a family member or pet during this pregnancy. I know it's difficult and I hope you receive the comfort that you need.
@aviola329 and @medic99 I hope both of you continue to receive good news from your u/s and I'm praying for both of you.
@katieharpiceland I make my own gyoza. It's somewhat tedious, but they taste much better homemade. I tend to make huge batches and freeze them.
