Ate too much Pad Thai. It was so good. Now I'm paying for it.

Pad thai sounds amazing right now...

Highly recommended. Just try to stop eating before I did. LOL.

  • Went to the fabric store to get what I needed for a tiered ruffled crib skirt. Saw an embroidered sheer that I immediately knew I couldn't live without but it won't go in my original design. Now I have to rethink the whole project! And I actually thought I was going to get a project completed today. Oh well.

YAY! It's not quite as overwhelming once you get into it. It actually becomes a little addicting :)

Do you know what kind you want to use?
  • @fireflygirl12   Owen is on our list so that gets my vote :)

@Mamamonzo  My shower is going to be at 10:30 a.m. so we could totally get away with a pajama shower!  That would be awesome.

We have our 4th cancelled school day tomorrow due to cold weather (in Minnesota).  We now have to make up the school days we miss and I'll be on maternity leave when that happens.  I'll have to see what my options are since I will be on my unpaid portion of my leave at the end of the year.

  • After my heartburn from too much Pad Thai settled down, I ate an orange. It was way better than I thought it would be. Now I'd like to eat many, many oranges.

  • Akron University is closed on Tuesday, that means DH can stay at home with DD and I all day! Yay for snow days!

Mmm...oranges are so good.  I need to go to the grocery store but have no idea what I want to buy.  I will be adding oranges to my list though!

I'm thinking the all in two diapers and the pocket diapers. My cousin recommended the pocket diapers for night time.
  • Do any of your doctors ever skip fundal height at an appointment? My doctor just listened to the heartbeat last time. I know there's controversy that it's not very accurate so...are some just doing away with it?
I was in the middle of my glucose test and was feeling nauseated so I was concentrating on not puking instead of just asking him.

  • My cat is sneezing a lot. He's not acting sick, acting and eating normal, no runny eyes, just sneezing a lot. Its been a couple of days, I'm wondering if I should take him to the vet.

  • For the love.. My DH is real sweet and I love that he wants to come to my rescue when my feelings are hurt but geez the drama that went down over a stupid comment was so unnecessary.. Simmer down, husband.
  • @aronie82 Yep. Gotta love northeast ohio. Haha
  • @lindsay808: my doctor just started doing them at my 28 week appointments maybe. Before it was just checking the heart beat.

My OB just did mine for the first time at my 28 week appointment, so maybe yours is waiting for a specific timeframe?
Hmm...they did it at my 24 week appointment  :-/

Shit. What does one do if you've already used a dryer sheet when washing/drying baby clothes? I doubt free & clear dryer sheet helps...is there any way to undo the damage?
  • Haha! Damn mobile - I hit post too fast :)
  • At least I have a bed. Your bed is a car. Yeah, but it's a fucking sweet car. My roommates said they'd get me rims for Christmas. Or a CB radio; I could talk to other car beds.

    My favorite movie :)

I wish he would hop off that cereal box and hang out with us. I think he's so cute!

We do serve shots... of wheatgrass.

Anyone want an ice cream sandwich? They're on whole wheat, with lettuce.

  • So annoyed. DH's car got stuck in our driveway. He has the flu in the worst way (like not man cold type, he's so sick it's breaking my heart) I called his friend who owns a plowing business to asked if he could help with the car since it's half in the street. Then I asked if he could plow our driveway. It's seriously a 10 ft driveway. I can't shovel and DH should not be doing it! He said yes.... For 20 bucks!!! Seriously? This dude was in our wedding I thought we were better friends than that? DH and I always do favors for friends and NEVER expect payment we just assume they'll help us in a time of need. I was desperate so I said ok... And he actually took the money. Kind of a prick move if you ask me!

  • @mamamonzo Ewww, really? I can't believe he'd charge you twenty bucks for a favor. My DH and I would never think to charge a friend for something like that. I'm glad he helped, but he'd be moved to the bottom of the list after something like that. I hope your DH feels better soon.

Nice "friend".  Hope your DH gets better soon.  That sounds awful!

We hired a guy to plow out our driveway any time we get more than 2 inches of snow.  This morning he came by to plow our driveway and we barely had an inch of snow on the ground.  We pay him per time so he made money off us when we could have easily shoveled it ourselves.  Annoying.
