Today wore me out. I tried to pack all of my shopping in before my appointment at 1:40 and then came home, cleaned the house then cooked dinner. Which didn't even turn out good. I know I shouldn't take on so many tasks at once but I'm just really not trying to let this pregnancy slow me down.
With that being said, I'm going to treat myself to a bath!
rediculous names i've seen so far today Kellyalexander (I guess parents were team green and didn't wan to go with just one for their little girl ) Given first name : Mister 8-|
I have a student this year whose father is named Mister. I had never heard of it as a name before... and I (and the whole class) thought she was mistaken when she first shared his name with us.

Clearly breast feeding is all I've been thinking about lately. Just woke up from a nap after dreaming I was breast feeding our cat. I've also breast fed from my elbow, at Disney World, and sold my pump for ice cream money in other dreams.
Every time I dream about BF, I am nursing my dog. I have 2 dogs and it is always my Chihuahua. So strange.
OMG, I totally had a dream I was nursing my baby last night and it kept turning into a cat! I don't even have cats! Then I was in the shower and the tub was filling bc our drain is slow and the cat baby walked in and water was covering its head. I quickly scooped it up to save it and it scratched my eyes! Very disturbing dream....be interesting to know wtf it means.
I'm in a local mom group on FB and I'm sorry but I can't stop giggling. A poor FTM just posted about how her 4 week old won't stop crying and go to sleep tonight. Sweetheart. He's 4 weeks old. It happens. It does not warrant a trip to the ER, lol.
Wait.. She went to the er because of that?

I took DS to the ER at 15 months because he swallowed a button battery. By the time they got us in for x-ray, it was already in his colon. However, had it been stuck in his esophagus, it would've required surgical removal. So I spent $100 on an ER copay plus x-rays just to find out that I have to sift through his poop for 48 hours to ensure he passed the damn thing. But it was better than the alternative.
This same child has run face first into a wall while trying to run with his eyes closed (his new favorite trick), smacked his forehead countless times on the corner of my stone tile island countertop, slipped and fallen on the hardwood in the kitchen too many times to count, and even fell out of my bed to the floor (which at the time was on a platform that put the mattress about 4ft off the ground) at 3 months old. Not to mention all the times he's fallen off the couch, bonked his head on random things, etc. None of which we went to the hospital for. He's a tough kid, and shakes it off really easily.
A bop on the head from the table warranting a trip to the ER?? My God we'd be broke.
So I totally checked with my other March 12 moms, because I'm definitely the odd one out on this board when it comes to the newborn napper on the PNP. I've never seen such animosity against the thing, it boggles my mind. You would think I laid my newborn to sleep in 17 layers of loose blankets bunched up around his head waiting to suffocate him. Seriously. This is a baby in a newborn napper. It's not a death trap.
You're far from the odd one out. Who insists this is such a horrible place for the baby to sleep? That's what it was MADE for. If I could love your post a million times I would.
I totally eat cereal out of my china bowls. They are Lennox Chirp and too cute not to get used, plus, what else am I supposed to do when I am out of clean bowls? I must have all the cereal!
I may have just threatened to lick everything in the house if my DH doesn't shut up about my germs. You had every opportunity to go get a fucking flu shot or tamiflu after I left the doctor, you OCD turd, knock it off.
@colleenswerb can we trade husbands for a day? My DH will have your kitchen spotless...
Growing up my dad worked for Kelloggs so we only got Kelloggs cereal. Everyone knows General Mills made the best sugary cereal. I always felt deprived!
Have I just not noticed my husband's vagina or what? He suddenly didn't want to go to his company party on Friday because "he has nothing to wear". I suggested we run to the outlet van huesen (his fave store that I never "let" him go to because we are poor and he has so many clothes!!) and he agreed. Took him 45 minutes to decide on a pair of black pants (tried on 4- every one "made him look fat" - news flash there Twinkie pants, you eat like crap now that I'm pregnant and don't hound you to work out!) and a shirt.
I love him. So much. But dear goodness.....

@colleenswerb that face makes me die!!! How precious!!! I'm confused, I didn't read the PNP post here. Are people saying not to use the new born part? I planned on it... Isn't that was it's made for?

That's what I'm wondering. I think the consensus was that them sleeping in it supervised was fine, but for overnight it's better to use the bassinet option for flat sleeping. But I'm a FTM so I really want to hear opinions on this as well! I'm paranoid about SIDS and suffocation, but I trust things that are proven safe.

So I had a bowl of ramen, followed up by a trial of that whole cereal mixing thing (Apple Jacks and Honey Nut Cheerios), and now I'm considering graham crackers with peanut butter. PREGNANT.

So I'm assuming I'm not the only parent that laughs when their kid does clumsy things? DD is constantly falling or tripping and most of the time it have to refrain myself from busting out laughing.
However, if she starts to cry then I know she's really hurt and that's not funny.

Sometimes I laugh either way. I watched my niece run full force into a sliding glass door and I could not stop cracking up. People started staring lol.
We get the keys to our new place this Saturday!!! I am NOT excited about the moving process but I'm so happy and relieved that we found an awesome house with everything that we need for our growing family :x

I love the Lenox Chirp collection! We almost registered for that but ended up with plain white dishes and did chirp items for accessories like placemats, napkins, candle holders, etc.

Oh and I want to put a vote in for a RTT Facebook group. I love the ladies in this thread dearly! It's my favorite part of TB, but I'd like a FB group for better functionality (vs the limited features of mobile bumping). I know we're not really talking about it anymore but I just wanted to put that out there...

Bravo ladies..
Ps. Where did you get that pic of my dad and I?? :-h
