DS just started daycare a few weeks ago, and apparently had a rough day today. When I got there to pick him up, he was sitting by the wall alone next to the poster we made with pictures of me and DH. He was crying, touching the pictures and saying "mama mama mama". Broke my heart.

Sorry, it totally sucks. Mint is actually on the list of what to avoid for heartburn. Do you have any zantac? That's what I've been using in combination with tums. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Part of my problem is that I'm not good at staying away from the no-no items like chocolate, fried food, tomato-based products (pizza!) and OJ. And try not to eat anything for at least 3 hours before you go to bed. I know the things that are supposed to work, but unfortunately, they don't always help. Hope you get some relief soon!

Between my previous roomie and I we had all 10 seasons. I have 5 seasons of my own. I'm actually watching Friends on tv right now. It's been on for the past 2 hours. My butt is numb.

I am not a helicopter mom by any stretch of the imagination but if that happened with DD I think I would scoop her up and not let her go all day.

Ugh...I have the fake out cold. It gets better for a day, then MUCH worse for two days. PLEEEEEEASE be gone by the time I have to fly home. Flying with a cold sucks, big time.

My process for going to sleep:

1. Decide that I am tired and it is time to sleep.

2. Pee, then get in bed.

Optional: Have sex with DH, pee again, back to bed.

3. Mobile Bump for a bit until I realize I have been awake for way too long.

4. Decide that I really need to sleep, but feel that I have to pee yet again.

5. Go pee, then return to bed and pick up my phone for "one last quick look."

6. Begin cycling through steps 3-5 until it is past 3 AM and I hate myself.

7. Sleep.

Had the weirdest dream last night. I had the baby, but couldn't remember anything about the labor or birth. DH had to tell me about it. Then our wedding coordinator showed up to move us to a fancy room. While she was doing that I started breast feeding, but the baby would only take milk from my elbow.

There are very few things I really "miss" right now while on vacation at my mom's house. One is the toilet at my apt - it's taller and has a porcelain seat whereas my mom's is squishy. The other is the ability to walk around completely naked in the house. I think DH misses that too.

Monday!??!?! I saw a plane taking off from Akron/Canton this morning.

Maybe only regularly scheduled flights that weren't initially delayed? We fly out tomorrow night from Detroit and it currently says it's on time.

lia619- That sucks! I once got caught in Dallas for two days, Atlanta for 3 days and finally made it to my destination 5 days late because of some freak snow storm that pretty much followed me all the way across the US. I feel your pain!
