Anyone have a favorite tinted lip balm? I've been using one by Fresh, which i love, but, I hardly ever buy the same thing twice. I like to be able to slather it on constantly!
I had no idea that halls were on the no no list... i'm a bad mother

I survived the Winter Classic 2014, walking about 4 miles in the snow (uphill... Both ways), nearly 7 months pregnant. I can't even begin to explain the amount of insanity we endured. It was definitely a memory to last a lifetime! My team lost in an overtime shoot out, but quite honestly, at that point we just wanted the game to end.
I had definite moments of "oh my goodness, my actions today are going to kill my baby" but everything seems ok. No spotting, LO is moving about the same amount as normal, I'm just a little sore in the pelvic area. I slept pretty hard last night, except for a plethora of insane dreams. This is the third time in a week I've had a dream about breastfeeding. Also, in my dream LO was a boy. Half the time it's a girl.

Toys have overtaken my house! I'm feeling like getting rid of a bunch, but then I worry about needing/wanting them for DSS. We haven't even gotten Christmas presents for DS from my DH side of family yet...course who knows if we will get any. Everyone except his brother are ignoring us right now. Messaged my MIL about skyping with DS for Christmas and still haven't heard anything back...my DH tried calling her twice two days ago to tell her exciting news about his career..no answer or call back. I'm over this. I think they are mad because we visited my fam for Christmas this year and not them.
So, I got some spending money from my mom for Christmas and I have spent about half of it on me
now I'm considering spending the rest on some newborn cloth diapers because I can't think of anything to get for myself
I did the same exact thing. Spent some on new boots and VS underwear that I've been waiting to buy and bought the stuff or my coffee bar. Now I'm considering buying stuff for the nursery or more diapers.

Can you store some of the away and then rotate them later? I put a lot of DDs christmas presents away, unopened and I plan to bring them out in the few months when these new toys lose their appeal.
My daughter has been laying around most of the day and just came up to me crying because her chest and head are hurting, her nose is all clogged and she's running a fever. SHIT SHIT SHIT.
I am thinking about storing some away...just what to store. Also, this summer we will be moving from our 3 bed/2bath plus bonus room and 2 car garage home into a 3 bed/2bath with carport home. I'm losing my toy room, extra storage and guest room in the next 6 months. So the toys are overwhelming right now when I'm thinking about all that

lol.... My doc says no to them..... but like I said in the post many say yes but after first tri. My doc office is a firm believer in meds that are absolutely necessary during pregnancy (which I am happy for). They want us to do natural treatments and remedies before going the medicated route. I can't stand cough drops so it really didn't matter to me.
I have a friend who has a seven (almost eight) month old, and every time I see her I try to avoid talking about pregnancy since everything I say I do is apparently "off-limits." I mentioned that I lay on my back a lot when sleeping since it doesn't cause me shoulder pain/hip pain and she gave me this stern look and started to lecture me about how bad it is for me. She semi-freaked out that I was going to do some more painting this week, and has also felt the need to lecture me on the merits of not vaccinating and why I should have a home birth.
Every time I see her I have to prepare myself to feel judged, and it really does make me crazy, I appreciate that she wants to share her experiences and opinions, and I'm ok with the sharing. I just wish she'd find a way to make it less about "she's right, you're wrong" and more about "here's what I know and what works for us."
Sorry about the mini-rant. I needed to vent, and you ladies just happened to be the unfortunate recipients!
I KNOW he's going to say that it all needed to go in the dishwasher, but couldn't fit. He did run the dishwasher. But there are 2 pots and a big bowl in there that do NOT go in the dishwasher. So nice try dude.
Ugh. I'm so annoyed by it, I know I'm going to clean it myself even though I have other shit to do.
I've heard that one....I've also had to go through the just started dishwasher and take stuff out that can't go in there....what is it with men and dishes?
My DH does all the dishes. I am totally like a dude when it comes to that stuff. I'm hopeless!
for us fruit pouch Mommies... seen this on Zulily.... seriously considering get this. I'm looking the reviews. any opinions?
We have them, but I'm not a huge fan. They don't actually stand up like the pouches you buy in the store. My biggest issue is that DS could suck the pouches himself around 7 months, but these pouches require mostly squeezing rather than sucking. He wasn't able to figure them out without making a huge mess. I am hanging on to them though for smoothies in the car when he gets a little older.

I had no idea you meant the cough drops. LOL That's why I was so confused.

Thank you. I would use them for my 2 yr old for the moment, but definitely looking for something LO can use when she reaches the baby food stage!
The breastfeeding post reminds me that I've been meaning to ask you ladies on RTT... When were you able to pump (I guess, when did your full supply come in?). I wanted to exclusively bf for the first few months but I have classes and finals for a few more weeks after baby is born. I'll probably go back a week after I deliver, depending on how much of an assmunch my professors are. This means that for two days of the week, I'll be gone for a few hours and DH or my mom will be watching her. I've read that it takes awhile to get a steady supply going to pump so I guess this just means I'll have to supplement with formula? Any experiences with doing both? I'm worried about if she'll even take the bottle after being use to breast also...since I've heard some say this can be an issue.

I was super paranoid with DS and didn't offer a bottle or paci until after 1 month, per our LC's recommendations. Neither affected his feeding at that point, but I doubt they would have from day 1. I'm pretty sure the kid would have eaten from anything to get food! This time I'll probably start pumping sooner too so I can start building supply.

I love nb cloth diapers. I think we have way too many, but at least I feel confident that one of them will work when DS arrives
@kendracoleslaw - I'll start one since now I'm curious too. Also a BDV.
