I was really concerned about PPD since I was predisposed last time. I ended up with a little SAD during the second trimester but then didn't experience PPD (I did have plenty of struggles and crying sessions but that's was just from lack of sleep and BFing issues). Hang in there but don't be to anxious about the future because you aren't "destined" to go through PPD. I found light therapy really helps. The best thing that works for me the most is a consistent sleep schedule, clean eating and regular exercise.

    @poru I just saw this, and it helped a lot. Thank you! I am a bit of a worry wart at times. ;)

    The breast pump posts make me sad...ACA doesn't cover military, so our insurance isn't required to do breast pumps. I want a cool breast pump!! But guess Ill be sticking with my cheap manual one that I bought before

    Where are you? A couple of ladies in my pregnancy Facebook group are trying to sell The ones that they are not using and they got pretty good ones from insurance so they are selling them cheap

    Same here with the all day crap.  It's sporadic all day, so Tums usually does the trick. I just wish I had trigger foods I could identify and avoid!

    Does anyone know if, in Canada, insurance covers breast pumps? I would ask it on the PSA thread but I'm staying wayyyy out of that...

    OMG  I totally hear you.  I can't get it to calm down until about 4:00 a.m. every night/morning to fall asleep, even with meds.  I'm asking my dr. for a priolosec prescription next week.

    @kcp913 I don't think you have to worry about it unless it is very sudden and doesn't improve with a full night of rest and elevation. If you don't have a history of pre-e or other risk factors, you could probably just hit up a CVS to check your blood pressure. Without a history of pre-e I doubt your doc would be concerned about swelling unless your BP is also up. If your BP wasn't normal, I would call the doc at that point.

    DH is working and didn't call me to tell me he got to his appointment safe. So for the payback of worrying I called & told him my mom was driving me to the hospital because my water broke... Ha his reaction was so great! Is it bad that I can't wait till it really happens so I can see him worry & wig out in person! (Okay, I can wait for 10 more weeks for these LO's!)
