    I've had my hair highlighted twice during pregnancy. So far, baby only has two arms and two legs.... I'd say I'm safe.

    Side note: my mom was a hairdresser and I have all of the appropriate parts, and I'm sure she inhaled tons of fumes since she worked up till the day before she went into labor, lol.

    Best gift I got last year? Blu Ray set of Charlie Brown Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. My whole family thought I was weird for asking for that (and those Rankin Bass Christmas cartoons the year before), but I am no longer a slave to ABC Family and their weird schedule!

    About how many Braxton hicks contractions are normal per day? I've been having a lot, but they're quick and not too painful. Not doctor worthy I don't think, but I'm having so many more than with DD. Probably 15-20 a day...

    So I told DH that I wanted to ask our dr about labor/birthing positions permitted at our hospital. I've told him that I want to try to have a natural birth and I'd like to learn more about the Bradley method. Not only did he laugh, he also said, "let me ask you...why can't you just go in, get an epi and push the kid out?" Because I don't want to! You're being an ass and just because your ex wife did that, doesn't mean that I'm going to. I've ALWAYS been interested in natural birth so fuck off. I'm so mad.

    Ugh! Again I miss all the fun!!! My stupid brother n law decided to tell me TODAY he wants a grill set with a case and I have been to 6 stores and nothing!!! Grrrrr....so now I missed all the good stuff on the bump! I'm unemployed dammit, I'm not supposed to be busy!

    DHs just don't get it do they? Mine doesn't understand why I don't want to just opt for the repeat CS. He's not being a dick about it, but geez. If I didn't want a CS the first time, why would I want one the second time? It kinda surprises me that he even has an opinion, because he was supportive of my pondering whether or not to try a med-free birth the first time (before the whole pre-e issue).

    so i had my 24 w apt today and the heartbeat is nice and strong found it right away 153. and they want me to come back in 2 weeks for an u/s "to check progress because of my history" aka for funsies :) bad news is I have to retake the 1hr glucose because they require it from everyone at 28 weeks regardless if they did an early test or not.

    My MIL sent DD a jack-in-the-box. She screams and giggles every time it comes up. At first I thought it was amazingly adorable and it reminded me of elf. Now I'm wondering if she'll notice if I hide it while she's sleeping.
