That gif reminded me of when my niece was about 7 or so months old and was on her little blanket on the floor and her dad's chow puppy bit her toe (not hard and violently). She literally grabbed him, dragged him over and bit him back. Had to be the cutest thing ever.

I have the best job in the world! I have a stack of gift cards to use up, a mantel full of cards, and so many warm wishes from my students it makes me glow. I feel like the grinch when his heart grows three sizes. I love being a teacher!

@natpirt just google eggless brownie recipe, I'm sure there are plenty! I don't raw eggs either. Not only is it unsafe (in my opinion) but I also hate the consistency and that is enough to turn me away from it!

Ok, so weird body observation: I have most definitely gotten the belly fur but the rest of my hair has thinned out immensely. It's kind of freaking me out. There are places that I used to regularly wax that I haven't even touched since getting pregnant because they don't need the maintenance anymore. Is this good luck or am I dying?

I've noticed this too! I haven't shaved my legs in who knows how long, but the hair is pretty thin and not to noticeable. My belly is furry though!

I'm also thinking I may have PUPPPS my belly and boobs are covered in red spots and its now pretty itchy. At least I already have an appointment on Monday so I'll ask about it then.

I don't know what changed but my libido has been crazy today! If it wasn't for my sore china (yea, I said it) I would want to do it again but the pain won't let me.

It is SO nice to be appreciated, isn't it?  I love it when they write a little note in the card.  I was super lucky and got $60 worth of Target gift cards from students today.  I'll be using them toward the baby crib.

Does it almost feel like after you have an orgasm? That weird pulsating feeling? If so, I had that a few weeks ago. I get lots of pain there all the time. I just think it's stretching or cervix getting hit!!

I posted on my FB asking for suggestions on how to set up our home birth in our mostly rural area and SO's aunt and uncle, who have 12 children, offered to talk to us and help us get started! They said their last three were born at home and the most recent baby was delivered by his uncle "unassisted" (holy shit, like without a doctor? @-) ). I am so pumped to be able to ask them a bunch of inappropriate questions and also to delve into their outrageous pool of knowledge. Plus they are kind of bat shit crazy, so it makes this opportunity 100 times more amusing to me. This is close to the greatest thing that's ever happened to me!!!!!!

Target has solid color fitted sheets. They do not have sheet sets though.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. My niece is still having a difficult time, but hasn't been flown out yet. She's becoming more alert as time goes on and her heart is at 178 bpm, much better than before.

We chose tonight, one of the coldest nights so far, and with every surface covered in ice, after I've probably already over exerted myself at work, to walk to the Baskin Robbins down the street.
Worth it.

Ugh.  I know that's no help.  Probably the same questions you've been running through your mind already.  I understand why you're concerned.  It's hard not to be nervous when you're alone and you don't have someone else to take a look or listen to the symptoms and give a good opinion.

@aviola329 I'm no doctor, but if I were in your position I would probably go to the ER and ask for a blood pressure reading (and potentially for a urine check to see if you're spilling protein). Granted, I do have a history of pre-e, so I am not willing to take my chances. My OB advised me to do something similar if I noticed any symptoms, but again, I do have a history of pre-e.
