Lol, I'm not a kid person either... Babies are cool and all... But.. I'm sure I'll be fine with MY kid. Just... I'm not opening a day care or offering to keep my friends kids.

And @snmetz7 I'd keep my cat over DH... Although, I hope your hubby realizes kids will be underfoot? And crying for food? And running around crazy? Right? lol... Good luck!

Along the Comcast hate...DH, for some unknown reason, got into some contract with Comcast last year for a good deal. Well, the deal is over, the price has skyrocketed and he is still in this contract for another year. Comcast is the devil and DH has a hard time saying no. Bad combo.

It's 11 PM and I had a hard time deciding between kettle corn and Kraft easy mac. I did what any self-respecting pregnant lady would do and made both. Plus hot chocolate.

@kateleestar that what I keep telling him! Apparently it's different if if HIS kid and his choice to have it. Whereas I had the cat before him and he didn't have a choice or something.

I love him don't get me wrong and he's a good guy except when it comes to this cat! Sigh.

And I know people feel different about their own kids I was just giving @aprilmay9 a hard time. But you both will have to deal with other people's kids now that you are going to have kids unless you always send them out to play at their friends houses and never invite anyone over

Damnit! Now I have to roll out of bed go down to the kitchen and make hot chocolate! I yelled for DH to do it and he said "you need to practice not yelling from another room, soon you won't be doing that because there will be a sleeping baby". It was his long winded asshole way of saying make it youself!

I love kids! Babies on the other hand... I loved DD as a baby, but other people's babies? I just don't know what to do with them. I'm so weird.

My hubs could not handle all the sweetness he was putting into the world this weekend and so decided to be a colossal jerk all freaking day in a foul ass mood for no damn good reason. And now he is sleeping, after ranting and raving about how he can't sleep, and I am wide fucking awake, my hips hurt and I can't get comfortable to save my life. Smh.

Oh wow, that OP is a peach. Read one of her older posts in which she discussed going on birth control because her BF of 7 months didn't want kids, and then went off it soon after because she couldn't afford the next pill pack and was shocked to find herself pregnant a few months later. :-?

I'm going to freak out.

So I was all excited to do the Bradley method classes and there is ONE person who does it in our area. Classes were slated to start jan 5- awesome, we get back jan 4. Also- it was supposed to be 12 weeks, once a week.
Well, I emailed her today and found out that she's doing a condensed class Mondays & Thursdays instead since she's pregnant and due in march. Fine. I can handle that. Then I look on her website which she must have JUST updated today and it says the start date is jan 2.

I could just cry.

@pineconey that is such a bummer! Maybe you will find a comparable class with a better schedule? Who knows maybe you would have hated the Bradley method, or been appalled at the woman's attitude, or another student's unfortunate b.o. problem!

Comforter finally arrived! Got my new plum duvet washed and it looks so pretty against the coffee colored linen bed! Waiting for the ModCloth pillow cases to arrive, and that's the last touch. And yet....
All this pretty new stuff just makes me desperate to repaint as the current wall color looks awful with the new color scheme. And since I want to paint our room the same color as the nursery, I'm super duper anxious to get started. Have to wait until two weeks though, and do it on Christmas break.

Positive of the morning: I asked my DD if she wanted to go 'nighty-night and she walked to the stairs and started going up! So easy (not always)

Negative: I have to wash 2 loads of clothes and a load of diapers TODAY and it's been raining for two days!! We don't have a dryer here and the line is outside. Oh the joys of CDing in the rainy season (I live in the desert and we are having a major drought so I'm not complaining about the rain)

This is what I'm terrified is going to happen! We aren't locked in to a contract, but I have a feeling that the price is going to skyrocket on us. If that happens, we'll just go back to AT&T. Loved Uverse, but I'll save $$$ where ever we can right now.

We have a two hour delay due to the weather. I think that calls for jeans and Ugg boots. No use in dressing up for school when the kids are only going to be there from 10-3 and an hour of that eating (they get breakfast and lunch).

update: They called back and cancelled school for the day...Snow day!!!!...err wait a THIRD phone call? Staff still has to report. Code A= a**holes.

I just got yelled at for parking right by the door at work. Excuse me for trying to not slip on the two inches of ice in our parking lot. Let's make a deal--once you get rid of the ice, I'll park as far away as you want. Until then, priority number one this winter is my baby.

Yay! The woman who teaches the class I want to take emailed me back and said she's going to check with the other couples to possibly change the start date or she will let us do a make up class! She's also going to let us set up a payment plan!
She also had a similar loss story to mine. I can't wait to meet her.
