100 page accomplishment speech:

When this thread began, I thought we were going for somewhere around 20 pages. It's been a long, ridiculous, and random journey to this point but I can honestly say I wouldn't be here without all of your random thoughts. We're a great team and we should be proud of what we've done! Shout out to the haters who don't contribute - we don't need you! I'd like to thank the baby girl in my belly, cake, @BiggerinRealLife who started this nonsense, and the son of God who dances on a cracker. (Queue Jesus on a cracker gif!)

One of the best things about cold weather here is how cold the water from the tap is. Luckily, it doesn't freeze because of the insanely hot water we have. I have no idea how this system works, but, besides the really cold glacial tap water, the geothermal hot water is maybe one of the best things ever. There is no such thing as running out of hot water :-D (It does kinda suck because its insanely hot and tourists get burned sometimes.)

Forgot to mention in all the excitement of a good MFM visit. No sex until 36 weeks. No stimulation a of any sorts. FML two times. 1) I want that awesome pregnancy sex and 2) now I have to listen to DH. And there won't be blow jobs. Mama doesn't get the big O neither does Daddy!!

Just read through the weight gain poll thread. I just laughed and went around liking posts. Certified creeper. Seriously though, a lot of those comments were too funny.

Also about DH's helping in the kitchen - mine saw I was unloading the dishwasher and came in to "help" me. He put away a plate and then said he had a lot of work to do. Thanks.

I asked DH to help me with the dishes on Saturday and he told me how little day light we have left and he had a lot to do. He then went and fell asleep I'm front of the tv. I give up, lol.

So I take a break from my end of semester project for candies class, and see that y'all have jumped to 3k without me!

NBD, I'm pretty happy that that's really me showing up (finally!!!) over there.

Weight thread - didn't open it. Kind of interested in maybe checking it just to see what's happening, but then all I'd be able to say is that I had BK for dinner. Probably not a good idea.

The tell us how hot you are thread? Priceless. Laughed so I hard I peed myself. Can't contribute now, as I've got to get back to the grindstone... Boo hiss.

So I half-assed cleaning the kitchen. I didn't even do the floor. Funny thing is DH takes so long to clean ANYTHING (It literally takes him a 90 minutes to clean the bathroom) he will think I spent like 3+ hours doing it and will think I did something today other than browse the web, snack and take naps.

So frustrated! The dumb receptionist/insurance lady at my family doctor is so lazy! I called Monday to get a referral sent to my insurance and she "forgot" to send it! Now I have to cancel another appt and have no idea when the next one will be or when the A/S will get scheduled. Is there a time frame when the A/S is less accurate/not recommended? I just want to know that my baby is fine and everything developed properly. Is that too much to ask for?

@ColleenSwerb I intend to call them until this is fixed. I will be the first person calling their office on Monday morning. The fact that I had to call and demand it be sent today is ridiculous considering I called on Wednesday to make sure she hadn't forgotten. Some people!! I'm almost 22 weeks now and have a feeling I wont get seen until 23/24 weeks. Will that be an issue?

Pity part/vent/debbie downer

I'm so lonely, I'm really glad I have TB to feel some sort of social interaction.

DH works full time and is a full time grad student. He's either gone or in front of the computer. I honestly don't think I can remember the last time we had a conversation that lasted longer than a minute.

We are pretty new here. My good friends are spread out throughout the country.

My one friend I made here turned out to be a complete bitchwad.

I have work acquaintances.

I don't know if it sounds materialistic whining about not having a baby shower, because I probably won't. I don't know enough people here to attend. My good friends live so far away that they can only fly out here once and they're planning on doing that after the baby is born to see her and help out.

I think it's the fact that DH has been so busy with his own stuff that it has made me realize how lonely I am.

Pity party on a Friday night, eating a PB sandwich, and about to watch some trashy reality TV shows to make myself feel better.

I'm sorry you're feeling down-DH works a lot too and I'm not working at the moment so I know how that feels. Coupled with friends who get shit-faced at every opportunity (who no longer invite 'the pregnant girl') it can be pretty lonely. Sounds like your situation isn't a permanent one though, so take solace in knowing that this too shall pass. Soon you'll have a little bundle of joy to share your time with, so try and relax tonight and enjoy your delicious sandwich (I want one now) and take your mind off things for a while. This board is great for nights like this-we're always here if you need to talk or vent!

My work acquaintances always tell me, "Oh when you're not pregnant anymore, you should come out with us!"

You are right, I should look on the upside and take advantage of this alone time.

Also, my poor puppy got in a fight with a hornet! My little hunter was all set to take it down, but got stung several times for his efforts. Now he keeps licking up and down his leg, and more or less looking pitiful. He's being very cuddly, which is unusual, and when he's not snuggling into me he is hiding in a corner and licking his wounds. Poor guy! Now we have to watch him for swelling or an allergic reaction. Anyone know how to alleviate stinger pain for a dog?

I posted about this in our XP thread. Though I despise that woman's parenting "philosophy" I thought it was ridiculous that people started stalking her on FB. I saw one person from the May Board actually did contact the authorities in her hometown, all over a post they saw on the Bump. I just find it rather disheartening that people started messing with her in real life. Though I think that womans actions were deplorable I doubt the authorities would actually categorize it as "abuse". Just makes me shake my head...

Btw I am OVER THE MOON happy, because my best friend is pregnant! It's her first baby also, and she's due three months after me!!! I am ridiculously excited to be sharing this experience with her! Now our babies will have built in best friends! :-)
