DD has had a runny nose and diarrhea for the past few days (caught it from her cousin at Thanksgiving I'm sure--grumble grumble). Poor baby. She has never been sick before. Hope I am not next on the list for that one.

A very good friend was hospitalized yesterday for high blood pressure. She got diagnosed with mild preeclampsia this morning. She's only 34.5 weeks and they are now hoping she can make it to 36 without issues. She's so calm and collected about it, impressively. Me on the other hand is so nervous!

@embear22 I think people don't realize how big women actually get when pregnant. I've had several people surprised but how "early" it still is in this pregnancy. Sigh basically by the end we are all gonna be whale sized an people will think there are two babies when there's only one.

we are having a "wind chill warning" until saturday. -15 th -25 here.   i've lived in much colder places, but people here don't understand this kind cold, so there will be freakouts for sure!

My very cranky sick 2 yr old is about to drive me nutty!!! You'd think after being drugged with 3 medicines she wouldn't have the energy to run around the house.

With DD, I left the house every day for work until I went into labor. I don't plan on slowing down at 30 weeks to sit at home.

I didn't let being 30+ weeks keep me in the house either. I was walking the mall the night before my EDD hoping I'd go into labor (I did later that night) and walked Disney at 36 weeks while pregnant with my second.

@KendraColeslaw I can totally commiserate!  One of my kitties (the smaller of the two, thank gawd) likes to sit on my boobs, or better yet, just run over them to get to the top of the couch.  Thankfully, they don't hurt like they did in the first tri, but jeebus!  He did launch off my stomach last night and I wanted to kill him for that - that one hurt like a mofo!

My least favorite part of pregnancy (I know that makes me sound crazy and warrants an FFFC).  But it's the one aspect of my body I hate to begin with.  Then pregnancy has to make them worse.  Sigh.  When I struggled with BFing last time I was frustrated because I had always ignored the fact that I hated my boobs, cause I said, at least they will be useful.  When it was partly my anatomy that caused BFing issues I would cry and say, "Its not fair that they are ugly AND they don't work."  (


I hear you! Mine were DDD when both kids were born and I did not produce one drop of anything! How can I have these useless blobs of fat? Guess they are for pleasure only.

Yay! Healthy baby, stable mama! My cervix hasn't changed at all! Bed rest is lifted but still have restrictions! Suck it old job all you had to do was wait one more day!

I just stepped on a bee and the evil thing stung me. Lovely. Home by myself with my 22 month old. Last and only time I have been stung I was 8 and had a mild allergic reaction.

Yesterday was 70 degrees and tomorrow it is supposed to snow?? I just realized that I need to go to the grocery store. I'd better go soon because DC peeps panic when snow is forecasted and they buy all the milk and TP.

Ok, I have two:

1. My mom just PATTED my belly @-) And it wasn't just 2 or 3, it was a good 5 - 7 awkward pats. I mean, that's nice that she's trying to be affectionate but WHY is she so weird about touching me? We used to live in the same body!

2. I found round stains in the bra I wore yesterday (our A/S) exactly where my nipples are. I guess seeing my baby made me lactate? This has never happened before lol

So this morning on my way to work I discovered I had a flat tire! Ugh! I made it to the gas station, and then a very kind stranger helped me to change my tire! I was very grateful for him, since I did not feel like getting on the ground in the ice, to jack up my car, when it was maybe 10 degrees out! However, the guy who helped me was wearing shorts and not wearing gloves. He must be crazy!

After all of that, I was late for work and have yet to do anything productive in the almost 4 hours I've been here!

We still haven't put up our tree yet. I'm usually the moment thanksgiving is over kind of girl but I just can't find the motivation this year. Maybe I'll feel like it tonight. Maybe. (This is probably a FFFC but I wanted to add to the epic-ness that is this post.)

Oh my goodness, the dance moves of little ones are beyond awesome... I love how excited and happy they are to just flail around and they do not care one bit who is watching or what they think!!! I wish I could dance like that

My boss just gave me triple the workload as my coworker (who has been here longer and is waaaaay faster). Joke's on him though--I prepped 2 of these "more time-consuming" meetings while he was out sick before he cancelled them. So I'm still putting in extra hours Mon and Tues to "get ahead" and leaving early next Friday. Suckas!

I think this deserves a cupcake after work to celebrate....
