It has been almost a year since LO's conception and 11 months since I found out I was having him. I am pretty sure I posted on the first trimester board sometime in January or February. I have to go back and look. Are there easier ways the post can be found?

Today is the anniversary of my bfp. I think I intro'd in like December on the board. I lurked for a few weeks. You ladies popped my cherry to the bump. I didn't even know these boards existed during "the knot" time.

Love this thread! I'm just sad I can't find my BFP bc I changed usernames/accounts halfway through because I couldn't remember my password on my mobile lol.

Anyhow, in my true lurker fashion, went straight into a bitchfest.. sounds about right since I was miserable in July.. and August...

I wish I could go back to that girl in July and tell her it was only going to get worse with the crazy work friend and that this was small peanuts :-)

Here I am! Also, I can't believe how neurotic I was about those tests. True story: 5 tests, blood tests with rising betas and I still didn't believe it til my first ultrasound.

I had to go back and look at a calendar, but I tested on Nov 29. I remember it was CD30 and I had come home from work before H and took a test bc my cycles are never 30 days long. We found out we were having twins 3wks later, just a few days before Christmas.

I didn't start posting w you all for quite a few months, but I've been around TB for a while. I actually didn't realize how popular the BMBs were since they appeared after my oldest was born. We just had the tri boards when I was pg w him.

Idk it was December still, the board was JUST starting to be fair anyone due in August couldnt have got their BFP more than a month sooner so of course you were new and hadnt contributed much. I wish I could find mine its similar Im sure.

@maritza707 well I've come to the realization that we have fundamentally different ideas on how we want to raise our babies and that maybe parenting belongs under the "don't talk about money or taxes with your friends category" :-) . But.. In a nutshell..I spent the first 6-8 weeks hearing how hard it is to get her LO AWAKE from his TWELVE hour sleep while I was running on fumes.. Or how her son had a stuffier nose than mine.. Or how he rolled over at 10 days.. Blah blah blah.. Basically everything is either worse or better for her.. So I told her to shut the f*#% up one day, and ever since then... Things are just fine! Although solids are coming up... So who knows lol. She's already starting rice cereal and I cringe... But.. I plan to Keep it zipped.. Her kid, her choice.. I just keep repeating that...

Sorry that became a novel lol.. Thanks for asking! Feels good to vent again...

Luckily, DH came around to the whole idea of being involved in the birthing classes and was even in the room for a good portion of LO's birth so looking back at this post I see how far we've come.
