1st Trimester

Usually a lurker but I will do an Intro

Hello!

I am currently 13 weeks, 1 day pregnant. I wrote on this board last week and asked a question regarding hearing the baby's heartbeat on the Doppler. Well since then, I have heard he or she three times.

This was a planned, unplanned pregnancy. I know that doesn't make any sense. We started trying in the fall and I found out I was pregnant pretty quickly. It was a shock for both my husband and I because I was told that I would have difficulties since I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and PCOS.

Things have been going good so far despite moderate to severe ms and anxiety..my thyroid is now in the normal pg range since I had my medication increased. Plus, I am watching my diet.

Just waiting for my MS to stop..lol.

Good Luck to all and Happy Pregnancies!

  • Congrats! I'm only 5w2d, but we also have a 13 month old. I haven't had any morning sickness yet with this baby, but with Bailey I was sick from day 1. Boy did he make me sick. Zofran was a lifesaver! And I had PB toast every morning. It was the only thing that settld my stomach. Mine went away around 1213 weeks so hopefully the end is in sight for yourS! I'm wondering if maybe I will get lucky this go around...

  • Welcome! I bet it was great hearing that heartbeat! I also suffer from anxiety, but have been doing well so far.

I can't imagine having hypothyroidism, MS, AND anxiety during pregnancy. You sound really upbeat! I wish you the best of luck!
