I got the bpf 12/12/12 but I don't remember my first post. I didn't join tb til like jan. I remember getting flamed all to hell after my dogs got in a fight my foot got hurt and I was told the same week LO had at least one club foot. I tried to make light of ot bc I was so depressed about it feeling like I had done wrong but I continued posting and you ladies know more about me than most real life ppl I know. Lol.

I know I'm late today- This little monster just wouldn't nap! I spent all day walking around, playing, sitting, standing... she's just happy as can be and awake as can be.  Every single time she fell asleep fate intervened and there were wake up worthy noises.  Man, what a day.  Here's my introduction.  In true form- too long.  I write a lot.  Every post.  Today is no exception

I can't believe it was a year ago.  I tested right before going to see my entire family at my Grandparent's anniversary dinner.  I saw the BFP and completely flipped out with happiness, but I didn't want to tell anyone besides DH until after I did a blood test.  So I spent the entire dinner trying to act normal, lol.  I think I failed.

Sadly I didn't join the bump until after my LO was born. I friend reccomended it as a good parenting forum. But I loved reading these intros! I got my bfp right after Thanksgiving, I was sick like 3 days in a row. I thought "I can't be pregnant but lemme pee in this stick just in case..." I was in shock! Then I tested like 4 more times in the next two weeks. Complete denial! I am so happy to have gotten my surprise LO. He consumed my heart whole.

I am the douche that never intro-ed. I joined in the game after week 20 or so I believe. I ultimately just did a couple of the chatzy's because I'm always alone and thought that would be a nice way to start conversation with having to post or something. Then I didn't really post much for a few weeks. Then I did more often. I sucked. I admit it. I can't even remember when I got my bfp. Not kidding. I love reading these and feeling that feeling again! You go girls! And I am So happy I finally got the balls to really join!!

I thought  I introduced myself earlier but I guess not. You can tell how excited everyone was to welcome by the plethora of responses. Thanks @TurtleMomma.

These were fun to read through. I wasn't part of the board for a while early on. We weren't TTC and we weren't married and the combo caused me to have lots of self image issues. It was dumb. Having LO has taught me to quit worrying about being judged and love who I am and who our family is. I wouldn't change a thing. ...but I have to say that I am excited to plan baby 2 so I can participate from the beginning.

Also... I did notice that lots of people around anymore.

Found mine! I never intro'd either, just jumped right in..new to forums and had no idea. I still don't have good etiquette as I switch back and forth from lurker to poster often..sorry gals. This past year had been intense, I had a very wonky pregnancy I didn't share a lot about and then a preemie baby so I've been on the preemie forum a bit more lately.
Has been great lurking (and sometimes interacting lol) with you ladies for the past year!!
