@ Biggerinreallife. I was team green with my first, and when I went in for my A/S as soon as the wand touched my belly boom there was his penis, clear as day.
PS: @jennypenny. Love your name! I'm a Jenny too, and was always called Jenny Penny growing up!
Aw thanks! I actually dislike being called Jenny in general... DH knows this and likes to tease me with it, including calling me jennypenny. I actually prefer to be called Jennifer, or Jenn if it has to be shortened.
Jennifers of the world unite! Heh
Here's another one! I definitely prefer Jen or Jennifer.
I love waking up on a Saturday feeling rested and refreshed, sleeping in just enough to make up for all the short nights of sleep from the last week.
I hate waking up inSaturday after over-sleeping too much after a night of God-awful dreams, feeling achy and dry. Eyes are dry, nose is dry, lips are dry.
Guess which one is me today?
Boo to poopy sleep.. Maybe go for a quick walk and get some fresh air?
----- Haha @JessieAlbin, this totally would have been the first thing I thought of a few months ago, but now it's like you lit a lightbulb over my head. I have a Starbucks walking distance, and two dogs that need a walk.....oh you genius you.

^^On a similar note, I love the Saturday before I hit a new month. DH and I have a tradition of getting coffee and sitting in our talking chairs while he reads his Fatherhood book on what's going on with me and baby the next month, and I just read. (Already read all my What to Expects, tyvm.) and we're going to see Hunger Games today! Despite the crappy sleep, it's gonna be a good day.

Today we drove over to Nashville to explore since we are new to the Tn area. I'm really disappointed that it's not a very kid friendly city. I guess I shouldn't judge since we went to broadway and second st. but that seems to be the place to go when you visit there. It was basically two streets full of bars and shops. It was stressful toting DD along.
Inlaws showed up before I could shower. Oh well. At least I got most of the house cleaned. I ended up re-sweeping/vacuuming the living room and then mopped it and the hallway too. It needed to be done, so at least the house looks really good right now. Minus our bedroom. Isn't that always the way? Clean everything else and then have no energy for my own space.
That's how my house is 90% of the time. Our bedroom is always messy but the rest of house is clean.
My husband just invited his sister over for Thanksgiving Day (aka our just the two of us Stace is ordering Chinese Thanksgiving). I said to make sure she has low expectations and what does he do? Sends her a text saying "Probably won't be turkey, but will still be fancy!". I'm going to punch him in the throat. Hope she likes meals where all the ingredients fit into a crockpot!
On a muuuuuch more fun note, I made it out of JoAnn's Fabrics alive and have commenced making some Christmas gifts! First up, gender reveal ornaminks for next weekend, then onto finishing my felt stuffed ornaments for my parents. I also want to make my SIL a set of felt Peanuts gang ornaments, but wondering if I reeeeally have time for that much sewing as work is about to blow up next week.
Anyone know of a place to get pregnancy ornaments, or something like it? DH and I have a tradition of getting an ornament every year that commemorates something big that happened that year, and I don't want to get a baby's first Christmas ornament until the kid is actually out to enjoy it.

@BiggerinRealLife Yep! A/S on 12/2! The day after I get back from Thanksgiving/reunion with DH's family, so hopefully that speeds things up mentally. If I knew for sure that pre-e was off the table I would totally love to be Team Green! However, since I don't know that I am just going to indulge the impatient part of me. If DH's parents stick around for lunch that day maybe we'll do a simple reveal like having them open an envelope with an "It's a ____!" card or something. We never did anything special or fun with DD's reveal; we just called people.

Perinatal depression like a kick in the stomach today.
I'm right there with you. Off my anti-depressant for over five months and I'm miserable some days. I'm thinking about going back on a different safer one. The one I was on was not good for pregnancy. :-( Hang in there.

Shutterfly has some pretty ornaments you can put a picture in. You could get one with an ultrasound picture in it.
I've gotten an ornament at a mall kiosk before for a friend who was pregnant. It has a husband and a wife with a little bump. They also personalize it. Things Remembered and Hallmark has a ton if choices too
Oooh, thanks! I'll definitely go look!

We will have to have a little party in the RTT on 12/2!
And yes I am. I delivered DD at 29 weeks due to pre-e and HELLP. My OB said the blanket odds for it happening again are about 1-in-4.
ETA: It is often less severe/later on subsequently though. But that's not a guarantee.
Got it! Those are pretty good odds though! Turns out my dad unknowingly had a 1-4 shot of producing a paranoid schizophrenic, and I'm pretty sure that's why God only gave my parents three children. Not that that has anything to do with anything.......
.....now it's awkward......
I'll be praying for an event-free pregnancy for you, and a fully cooked baby in the end.

I am dressed! And my hair is did! And H and I are going out for dinner and to a hockey game! We have not done anything date-like since the summer, so i'm excited!
When I click a name poll and I've chosen the most popular I feel like I should get a prize and I get secretly excited. Maybe the prize is that I am normal and don't think ridiculous names are cute and my child will not be punished forever...
I really wanted a chorizo and egg breakfast burrito for breakfast. DH gave me a guilt trip about the chorizo. He still is bothered that I ordered it. I love him very much and know that he cares about me and LO, but his watching over what I eat is driving me nuts! :-L
And just what on earth is wrong with chorizo?? Chorizo is delicious!!
@BiggerinRealLife I saw some super cute ornaments at Kohls that had a spot for a US picture and said "I loved you before I even met you" or something of the sort. Would celebrate the pregnancy instead of the baby since they aren't here yet.
@biggerinreallife Thank you! And I am hopeful. I feel fairly good about the odds. Many of the pre-e ladies I know on TB had awesome FT pregnancies after their preemies.
I take a low-dose aspirin every day as a blood-thinner (OB's suggestion) and I get monthly ultrasounds after 20 weeks to monitor growth and probably to check my uterine arteries. I hope that gives me better insight into whether or not I can expect pre-e this time.

@jellysparkles I am sorry. I hope there is something pregnancy-friendly that they can do for you! That's rough. Is it something that comes and goes or a daily thing?
