I know a few of us have already started, but let's get to know each other! (@BumpAdmin@BumpTara can you please sticky?)
Introduce yourself: Hi, I'm Leah! I've been around TK/TB for a long time. Excited and still a little in shock that I'm here!
Due date? According to my LMP, May 5...but I ovulated unusually late this cycle, so it might change once I see my provider.
How did you find out? Home pregnancy test on CD30, or 12DPO.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I will be 33 in less than two weeks and my husband is exactly six months older than me. We have a daughter who turned 3 last month. We also have a fluffy black cat who I think knew I was pregnant before I did. I work from home doing ecommerce merchandising. Most of what I do involves loading new products to retail platforms. I'm glad I won't have to go into an office this pregnancy!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? The only symptom I've been having is slightly fuller breasts. But that's nothing compared to last month. **TW: early loss mentioned in spoiler.
I had a very early but intense chemical pregnancy last cycle. Starting on implantation day, I felt full-blown pregnant: massively enlarged breasts, darkened areolas, random waves of nausea, food aversions, and fatigue, chin acne...and then over the course of a week, all of those symptoms faded. My theory as to what happened is that the blastocyst implanted but did not grow, so my body cranked up the pregnancy hormones to help it along, then gave up because nothing was happening. It was so early I never got a BFP.
Fortunately, none of that is happening now. So far this feels a lot like my pregnancy with my DD, so I have high hopes. (And just like my pregnancy with her, I got my BFP on a weekend and had to wait a few days to call my provider. )
@hestia-is-wearie thanks for getting everything started and organized!
Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Annie! I’m 34 and this is baby #3 for me.
Due date? According to my LMP it would be May 5th
How did you find out? I’m an early and frequent tester… so I started to see a vvvfl on 10DPO with a positive digital on 11DPO. Confirmed with HCG labs that doubled over 48hours, so I’m really hopeful this one is going to stick!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have two kiddos, DD is 5 and DS is 2. My DH is also 34 and we have been married for 12 years. I’m a postpartum doula and lactation educator, but have paused on that since having my son. I love my job and am so glad I can pick it up and put it down as needed.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’ve been pretty tired the last two days- like about to fall asleep standing up tired. Just waiting for the nausea to kick in in a week or two like my other full term pregnancies.
**TW MC**
I had a 7week miscarriage in between my two living children. Most recently, I’ve had 3 chemical pregnancies in a row before this cycle. All got a BFP before slowing fading and eventually bleeding. Once cycle I did HCG labs and got a decrease from the first to second labs. I’m still pretty nervous about this round, but so far it feels different. ** end TW**
Looking forward to going through all of this together!
Introduce yourself: Hi! I'm MomsiePopsicle AKA Joy
Due date? May 2nd, 2022 (though, my MIL had a dream 2 weeks before the +HPT that I delivered a baby boy on April 29th, so we'll see...)
How did you find out? +HPT on 4W1D, very faint line, but a line is a line.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have one DD about to turn 11, and a 1 year old German Shepherd. Hubby and I are in our early 40s (AMA represent!) I work for a hospital call center and write novels when I can. (One is published, several are in progress.)
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Right now, on 4W4D, I've got the MS starting. Emotionally I'm trying to not hyper-focus on the odds of MC.
Hi! I’m Ashley. I’m 35, and this is baby #2 for us.
Due date: May 6, 2023. My birthday is May 10, so we’ll see How did you find out?: My period was due today, Saturday, but I took an early test on Wednesday and was shocked to turn it!
About me: I’m an orchestra teacher, teaching grades 4-12 in 4 schools. My husband is a drug and alcohol counselor in a prison. Our son is almost 6, and going to kindergarten in two weeks. We love going to concerts and going out to eat.
Symptoms: very nauseous when it’s time to eat, and uncomfortably full right after. Tired, but some of that is back to school tired. Sore breasts which is one reason I tested, but that seems to only be at night when I’m trying to sleep now. Hoping fervently this one sticks around.
Adding: I have a wonderful community that started here and migrated to FB when our babies were born from my first son, so I know how wonderful these groups can be. Can’t wait to meet you all!
Hi! I'm Vanessa. I'm 33 and this is baby #1 for us. Due date: May 4 from my LMP, have yet to see my GP to confirm. How did you find out? At home pregnancy test, 12DPO. About me: My boyfriend and I have been together for 15 months, I work as a medical office assistant at a dermatology clinic and he drives a garbage truck. We love gardening, hiking, binge watching Netflix series and pizza! Symptoms: Fatigue, cramping, tender breasts, lower back pain, headaches, mood swings, nausea. Basically all of them!
Hi I am Sky, this is my fourth pregnancy, *TW*pregnancy loss* but will hopefully be my second live birth. When trying for my second I got pregnant this past Feb and had a 16 week loss in May. Never found out why, as genetics came back normal and the OB believed it was placental in nature. Got pregnant the following cycle with a chemical and went to a specialist who found I had an asymptomatic uterine infection. I treated it with doxy and got pregnant this cycle. Lines are much darker than my chemical and are darkening daily since 7 DPO but I am anxious to have my second HCG blood draw, given my history.*TW Over*
Due date? May 9th (based on ovulation)
How did you find out? Being my third pregnancy this year I have gotten really good at symptom spotting, I knew almost immediately and took a test at 7 DPO that had a very faint line. I am now 14 DPO, getting darker tests daily so far.
Tell us about yourself: In 2015 I had my son who is now seven, completely unplanned! I was 21 and completely shocked. It was a really nice pregnancy that I feel lucky for. He is definitely the light of my life and really wants a sibling. I also have a doxie mix dog who we rescued two years ago, that is being very clingy ever since my + I have been married for 3 years this October, although our wedding wasn't until last October because of Covid. So I am the only gal in a house with 3 guys.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Emotionally I am really anxious given the events this year. But I am as happy as I can allow myself to be right now. I am very moody and getting irritated easily but nothing awful. I am a little more hungry, really craving salt. I stop craving sweets with pregnancy and that is definitely happening now. I also smell different and have a keener sense of smell, which was already pretty strong before pregnancy. With my first pregnancy I had almost no symptoms besides fatigue and with my *TW* loss *TW over* I had all of the symptoms and then some.
I look forward to meeting you all on here and being part of this community (:
Introduce yourself: hey!! I’m Jill. I’m almost 26 and this will be our third.
Due date? May 9th is my estimated, but I think I ovulated later than usual.
How did you find out? Haha so strangely, I crave bleach and chlorine when I’m pregnant. I was at the wading pool with my kids the other day and was loving how good the pool smelt. Then I realized it smelt a little *too* good, went home and took a test, and what do you know.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’ve got a 4 year old boy and a 1.5 year old girl. we have two cats, one hairless one not. I’m a social worker, specifically I work in inpatient mental health at our local childrens hospital. My partner and I will have been married for 3 years this year, and he’s an amazing dad!! Can’t wait to see him with baby #3.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’m feeling okay!! A bit emotional from some stress at work, but hopefully that doesn’t stick around long term.
Hey guys! My name is Kendall and I’m 2 months shy of 28.
Due date? May 8th (this will be our 3rd!)
How did you find out?
I became suspicious of pregnancy since I didn’t get my usual pms symptoms. I also am very regular (and usually get my period 2 days earlier than my app) so on my first late day I tested and got a positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have a very loving and sassy 5 year old and a sweet 1.5 year old, both girls ❤️ My husband and I have been married for 6 years. He works full time as a carpenter and paints houses after hours. After my second daughter was born we moved to a farm so I quite my job to spend more time with the kids and working on the farm.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I am a bit stressed and worried to be honest. Obviously very excited and happy too! We did not plan this pregnancy and having a 3rd baby so soon after our 2nd is a bit overwhelming. We were using the rhythm method as bc and I suspect I ovulated late this time. Symptoms are light nausea, tiny bit of breast soreness, and tiredness.
Introduce yourself: Hey! My name is S, I’m 31 my husband M is 41. We’ve been trying for quite some time. I am a Correctional Officer and he is a Teacher. We’ve got a cat and a dog and love going to the beach, cooking heathy meals from scratch and relaxing on the porch.
Due date? By my calculations, second week of may but could change once we have our first appointment.
How did you find out? My blood work for progesterone to make sure I was ovulation was very high. (We’ve had to take some fertility medications, and blood test regularly.) They we’re so high that based on her charts it put me in the pregnancy category. I tested and it was negative. I tested again this past Monday and sure enough it was a positive!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Very nauseous, almost like a sea sick feeling. Bloated beyond belief. I think work and everyday distractions are good for me, mentally I am very worried and scared. It is my first pregnancy, and we haven’t told many people yet.
Due date? May 7th... I think based on last period but it's been a bit irregular, so probably give or take a few days.
How did you find out? BFP on a HPT a day after my period for sure should have shown up.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): This will be our second kiddo as we have a 15 month old daughter (May 2021) and we have an 11 year old chocolate lab, who is our old man that naps all day. I live in Alberta, Canada and work in forensics currently. Hubby and I like getting outdoors and try to get out to the mountains, when possible. Other than that, travelling is always fun, taking our dog for walks around the neighbourhood and reading are pretty much all I get up to. Hubby and I have been married for 4 years and together for 7ish.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Very few symptoms so far, so was fairly surprised at the positive test. I think the only one really of note is being tired earlier in the evening than normal. Emotionally doing okish, but having the first trimester worries as per usual especially since we had a few losses prior to our DD. So... I'm cautiously introducing myself and hope to stick around for the long run with you ladies
We just got a positive test as well! Looks like it’ll be a may 7th baby. I’m terrified of miscarriage this is my first baby! My husband is ecstatic. We have 2 pets, a German shepherd and a cat. We love them and they will make great big brothers!
Introduce yourself: My name is Nikki. I am 35. I am married and my husband is 34. (We are the same age for one week lol).
Due date? 3 May 2023
How did you find out? Positive pregnancy test around week 4 as I never miss a period and I waited until 2 days late and I’m never late either.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): We have a 1 yr DS and I have a 10 yr step-son. We also have two dogs. I work full time with the Air National Guard; however, actively trying to find something to do from home. See how the job search goes now that I am pregnant lol I love to go on walks, crochet, watch tv, listen to music, and, most of all, play with my son.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Honestly, been feeling great so far. Minor cramps here and there, but nothing crazy. 🤞🏼 My pregnancy with my son was incredibly easy (minus gestational diabetes the last 3 months but even that was extremely manageable). Hoping this one is about the same as my first! Lol
Introduce yourself: Hi! My name is Amanda, 36. I live in the states
Due date? According to my apps, May 2!
How did you find out? Soooo I’m a speech language pathologist working in home health and I was with a patient who has Parkinson’s. She randomly asked while I was taking her blood pressure if I was expecting a baby. At this point I had no idea. It was sooooo strange to me and I felt at the time that she was a wizard lol. About a few days later I was about 1 day late for my period which I don’t think anything of normally because my period is always doing it’s own thing. My husband (37) and I were getting ready and I was crying that my skin looks horrible (I have little red bumps/pimples all over my cheeks) and he goes, “maybe you’re pregnant. That’s what you were crying about the first time”. (*****TW mc***** the first time ended in loss back in Feb ***TW end***). At that time I thought it wouldn’t hurt just to take a test. So I did and got a faint line! My first ob appt is scheduled for 9/30. It pains me to wait this long but thankfully I have a therapist appointment before then lol
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): We have a cattle dog named Oscar! He’s cute but very territorial and I’m so scared of how he’s going to act with a baby. He’s never been around little ones before.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? As far as symptoms go- mild nausea, sense of smell increases but it comes and goes as I’ve been having major allergies this spring and summer, mild breast tenderness but only under my right boob which is strange. Mild cramping as well which scares me. I had a panic attack yesterday because I saw some strange white substance in the toilet after I peed but I’m not bleeding… thinking it could be tissue of some sort?? Idk.
Introduce yourself: 35, Central florida gal. If you know me IRL, let's keep this under wraps, shall we?
Due date? Based off LMP May 4, not mad about it
How did you find out? Late period, positive test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Partner and I have 4 girls under 7yrs, 2 each from previous marriages. We've been together about 2 years now, both left the hospitality industry recently. I work in fintech, love the theme parks, and have 2 side hustles as a travel agent and etsy shop owner.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? **TW Loss **I have a history of ectopic, so needless to say, I'm still pretty nervous and stressed about the whole thing. I've already had my first u/s but we couldn't see anything yet. My ectopic was a whirlwind of emotions, failed methotrexate, and surgery, but I'm thankful I caught it early.
Introduce yourself: I'm Samantha. 34 with 1 son and 1 bonus girl. This is pregnancy number 4 for me.
Due date? Given my LMP, I'm due May 13th. I'll be calling for a confirmation appt on Tuesday.
How did you find out? My period should have started yesterday. Today my boobs hurt bad so I tested. Hello positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband Steven and I have been together 4 yrs and married 2 yrs. He brought a daughter into the relationships (Luna's 9 now) and we have a son together (Ezra's 2.5 currently). We have a cat named Electra. I work in retail and have 17 years.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Aside from my boobs hurting, no other real symptoms. All the sassyness is getting to me faster right now.
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Erin, 41, from Upstate NY
Due date? May 2
How did you find out? We've been trying for awhile and I usually test around 10dpo.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I am a tattoo artist and my husband works in IT. My husband and I have been married for 17 yrs, we have a 10yr DS and 2 cats.
I have a rare autoimmune disorder that I was diagnosed with at the beginning of my first pregnancy, that I spent most of my 30’s on steroids and immunosuppressants and finally chemotherapy to fight into remission (I’m celebrating 4yrs this month!) I gained 108lbs due to the steroids, and have lost 93lbs to date. I have struggled with an irregular cycle and PCOS for years, and we tried letrozole with success **TW loss in spoiler **
During the second cycle of letrozole, I had a chemical pregnancy in November, lost at 5w4. On our 4th/final cycle of letrozole, we had success again. We measured 5 days behind at the 6wk ultrasound, and there was a good heartbeat but by 9 wks, I had a missed miscarriage, baby measured 7w3 and the heartbeat was gone. I had to have a d&c and it was the worst heartbreak.
In preparation to start seeing CNY Fertility, we took their advice to try Keto. I have celiac, so I have to eat gluten free any way. We did it for almost 2 mos, but I have a lot of food allergies and without eggs or avocado, I wasn’t getting enough fat so it wasn’t working for me and my ovulation stalled out. I went back to carbs and I ovulated 3 days later (really good surge)! I’m cautiously hopeful.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? My boobs are really sore, and I’m usually tired way earlier than normal. I’ve had some waves of nausea but mostly mild. Emotionally, I’m overly sensitive and far less patience than usual. I got all choked up and teary when I tried to explain the story behind the song “Hey Jude” to DS in the car yesterday. Feeling some anxiety being here after everything I’ve been through over the past year, but trying my best to just stay present and optimistic
Introduce yourself: Hi my name is Danielle I’m 29 but will turn 30 on the 26th. I am a FTM
Due date? Early May
How did you find out? BFP after my period was 3 days late and I noticed some changes in my acne.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I work as a Drs assistant/scribe at an Optometrists office. Spouses name is Scotty and he does I.T for the local school district. No pets yet but we are currently trying to buy a house so we can get a dog. I like reading and during the pandemic I learned to sew.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Most smells make me nauseous but no vomiting yet. I don’t get hungry anymore but when I do eat I get uncomfortably bloated an hour or two afterwards. My boobs hurt and I get really tired during the day and I get the occasional cramps as well. Emotionally I am super excited and I can’t wait!
PS I have tried to change my user name from the generic one. If it’s not changed I will keep working on it.
Introduce yourself: Hi all! I'm Lindsey. I'm 39 yo (turning the big 4-0 in October) and this *is* my first rodeo. Actually, I live in Texas and I've been to many rodeos, but you know what I mean. FTM.. hopefully.
Due date? May 15 🤞
How did you find out? I've been tracking with the intention of getting pregnant, and I tested positive starting 7dpo.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I just got married in May 2022 and we've been trying for a "honeymoon baby" because of my (our) age. My due date is now right around that anniversary time next year! I am a career oriented person (medical field) and a recovering perfectionist -- both traits being things that are going to be a challenge.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I am mostly just anxious. Not a lot of family or close friend support geographically near. Husband travels every other weekend. My closest friends all had their babies years ago. That is why I'm here more than anything.
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone! I’m Tamara and I’m 34 y/o and this is my first pregnancy so I am feeling completely clueless!
Due date: May 12th (which will be my husband’s 40th birthday!)
How did you find out? I took an at-home test 6 days before my missed period, and it had the faintest of lines. I’ve probably taken 10 more since then….all positive!
Tell us about yourself: No children (hence not knowing anyyything about what to expect), but my husband and I have two dogs that we love dearly. I WFH which makes hiding this pregnancy a little easier. I love working out (lifting weights) and running.
How are you feeling: Extremely sore breasts (mostly at night) that I swear have already doubled in size. And some on and off nausea and aversion to certain foods (particularly sweets, which is weird for me)
Hi my name is Erica. I am currently 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant with baby #5. I am 25 years old. I currently work at Sonic Drive In and go to school online for nursing. I have a great support system and an amazing man by my side this is our 2nd child together. My first 3 have the same father. My kids are ages 11 months, 3, 5, and 7 I hope to make a few mom friends because i really dont have many friends. Nice to be here with u guys.
Hi, I'm Lexi ! I'm 30 years old, and I live in South western Ontario.
Due date based on LMP is May 2nd.
Found out on HPT at 3w6d with a very faint line. Repeated on 4w1d and had a definite line! This is baby number 1 for us!
I work as a respiratory therapist at a pretty busy hospital. It can be both physically and emotionally draining but I can't imagine doing anything else! My husband is 4 years older than me and is a millwright. We've been together for 9 years. We have 2 dogs who are tons of fun and keep us active!
So far feeling pretty good! Already feel like I'm busting out of my bra lol. Some intermittent nausea, and mild fatigue too. Definitely also having some anxiety to experience all of this for the first time, but also really excited!
Introduce yourself: Hi my name is Sandra, I live in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY and I am 36 y/o.
Due date? Unconfirmed 5/11/23
How did you find out? I didn’t feel like I was going to get my period and tested 3 days in a row, 2 negatives and got a faint line on the 3rd day which was also my birthday!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): my husband and I have been together for 17 years now, our 1st child is now 6 years old. We have game night weekly with our best friends and the kids all run around like fools 🤣.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Until today I have felt normal, but today I am feeling a smidge crampy. I am 4w5d
Based on LMP, we're currently estimating about May 11th for a due date.
I had a "feeling" so started testing last weekend. Got a super faint line Saturday, a positive digital Monday.
I have an 8 year old boy, 2 dogs, and a boyfriend of 6+ years. We love going to hockey games. My son plays all the sports so you can usually find me at a field or rink.
I've been so so so tired, but otherwise feel good. No foods sound good though. We had a loss in June, so I'm pretty anxious, too. We are so excited, though!!
Hi, I’m Madison. I am turning 29 in a few weeks and I live in Alberta, Canada.
Based on LMP, due date is May 7th.
Took a HPT which showed positive right away.
This is baby #1 for my boyfriend and I. We have two dogs and share a love for all things sports.
Been absolutely exhausted most days, struggling to get through the day without multiple naps. I have been on edge wanting to tell our families but we are waiting until after our first prenatal appointment at the end of the month. Other than that just feeling excited and nervous, trying to find out as much information as possible about what’s in store over the next 9 months!
Hi all! This is my 5th pregnancy with one living child. I’m excited as this time feels like it did with my son who is 3.
I thought I ovulated late, but actually ovulated super early (CD 9). My “ovulation” symptoms were actually implantation and hcg symptoms haha I randomly took a test because my boobs were more sore than usual. I got a positive at 13DPO which was only CD23! I was shocked to instantly see a second line.
EDD via ovulation is 16 May.
Tired, sore boobies, sensitive gums, crampy, and light headed occasionally are my symptoms right now.
Hi everyone. 😊 I’m Carly and just turned 27. This is my first pregnancy, but (TW) I miscarried in May. So I’m being very cautious and keeping my hopes in check.
My due date is May 12 approx.!
I tested 10 and 12 days PO and was negative. The app I was using suggested testing again 14 days PO and it was positive!
I’m located in south Florida so my husband and I stay pretty active year round with our two huskies. I own a marketing agency and am definitely nervous about how my work load will be post baby.
I’m more tired than usual, sore nipples, and trouble sleeping right now.
Introduce yourself: Hi! I'm Caitlin. Due date? If I go by LMP, 5/17. If I go by ovulation, 5/20. I will probably go by ovulation.
How did you find out? I tested yesterday on CD9 and got a negative (like I did with both prior pregnancies) then tested this morning with a cheapie and got a vvvvfl. Bought a FRER and got a negative. Tested this evening with a cheapie again and got a slightly darker line.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Mid-30s, mom to two girls. DD1 is 5, DD2 is 2. I have been around the bump for a while (just got my 6th anniversary badge when I logged in today!) and was in BMBs with both my other kids. I work full time from home and so does my husband. I like to run, read, bake, watch tv.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? We totally wanted this pregnancy but I'm a little AHHH about the idea of introducing a third kid...No symptoms yet, of course.
DD #1: April 2017 DD #2: May 2020 Baby #3: EDD May 2023; MC October 2022
Due Date: Going by LMP, it would be May 11. I'm 37 and this would be our first.
How did you find out? We'd been TTC for 5 months so I was tracking bbt. I didn't feel that different this month but had a few zits right before my period was expected, and they were in places that were out of the ordinary for me. At the end of the night that my period was supposed to come I connected the dots that that could be a symptom, went to bed, and when I woke up my temperature had gone up instead of down so I took a test and it was a pretty strong positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I live with my partner and dog in PA. We've been together 11 years and initially didn't want kids but changed our minds in the last year or so. We both work as designers. I'm really into gardening and he's a musician.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I've been crampy on and off with very mild waves of nausea. But they're mild enough that I wonder if I'd even pay attention to them if it weren't for the positive test. I've had trouble staying asleep the last couple nights. Not sure if that's related. Excited, but also know the odds this early on, so trying to keep anxiety at bay.
My husband and I have been married almost three years and we both just turned 30 this summer. We decided it was a good time to start trying since it can sometimes take a while. I got pregnant in our first month trying - we couldn’t believe it. I’ve taken a test almost every day just to remind myself this is actually happening. Feeling very blessed and excited.
We own a dog who we treat as our fur child and both love to be active.
Symptoms are all over the place. Some cramping, some days I feel nauseous, some days I’m exhausted, and definitely have had some mood swings.
I’m Ash 😊 I’m a 32 yr old mom of one 13 yr old and have an EDD of 5/5 (based on my last period) or 5/9 (based on my first US) I am considered high risk right now because my son was born 8 weeks premature.
My spouse has a condition and was told he would not be able to father children without a surgery and I have horrible PCOS to the point I didn’t know if I was ovulating. This is a huge surprise but, this little one will be very loved and is very much wanted!
So far I’ve had some back pains, FATIGUE, and maybe I’m a little moody ;)
Hi! I’m Rachael- I’m 36 and am pregnant after 9 months of trying. This will be my first child. PAIF- had an HSG procedure done in July and conceived in August right after my birthday.
Due date? May 11
How did you find out? 3 days late (very unusual for me) took 2 at home tests- both were positive…have an appt with my OB next week!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? 2 dogs- Eno(boxer/shep mix) & Pedro(chi), 1 cat- Waffles(orange tiger) Job? Gardener Things you like to do? Hike, spinning, painting, paddle boarding, yoga, barre Spouse/partner?): Brian, 38, most amazing & supportive partner- we’ve been married for 8 years & friends for over 20 years
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Exhausted!! Some slight lower back pain(found a great prenatal yoga for back pain that has really helped!) Other than that relatively normal Cautiously excited
Hi, I’m Kathleen :) I'm 31 and this will be my first pregnancy.
Due date: May 16, based on LMP and apps
Found out: had a gut feeling (plus cramps and vivid dreams) and waited until 11 DPO to test at home. Four days and four positive tests later, this seems like the real deal.
My husband and I have been married for 10 months (dated for 7 years). We have three cats who we love very much and make us laugh all the time. We like gardening, watching shows, going to the lake, and playing games. Cleaning the litterbox was always my husband's chore but I am glad I don't have to do it :D
Symptoms are mild so far. Sore breasts and mild cramps/pressure. Gearing up for the more intense symptoms, excited, and hoping everything works out great.
Hello everyone! My name is Casey, I am 35 and this is my first pregnancy.
Due date is sometime around May 8th
My partner of 12 years and I have decided to see if pregnancy was possible however we were thinking the cards were stacked against us. I was anticipating my period and paying attention, when it didn’t arrive I took a test that I had with an expiration date of 2016. It came back positive but I didn’t fully believe it. I took two other tests that afternoon and both came back positive!
I work as a therapist in a small private practice and created my own practice during COVID. I live in Los Angeles with my boyfriend of 12 years and our two tabby cats. I enjoy reading, yoga, learning, traveling and I’m more introverted than extroverted these days. I also felt very on the fence about having children because of several factors however I’m really, really excited for this opportunity and also terrified.
I’m feeling ok! Symptom wise I’ve noticed tender breasts, mild nausea and cramping on occasion. I’m also feeling tired. I am worried about getting off medications while pregnancy and spoke with my psychiatrist today. I want to be without meds and I’m also concerned about what it will look like to stop. Im meeting with an OB this next Monday and will discuss further.
Im glad to be here and look forward to reading more from you! I hope you’re taking care.
Hi! My name is L, I just turned 29 and this is my first pregnancy.
According to a few sites my due date is somewhere between May 7th and 11th.
I was waiting to test until after my FMP but realized the box of tests I had were expired. I decided to take one instead of throwing the box out. Honestly, I was expecting it to say negative.. I was wrong and definitely skeptical. I grabbed a few more from the store and they were all positive.
I work as a therapist for the government and have a small private practice on the side. My husband and I have been together for 12 years; married for 2. We have a big, lovable BMD and two sweet kitties. We are outside as much as possible and enjoying lifting weights, hiking, hunting, and anything on the river.
I’ve been better, ha! I came down with a cold last week that resulted in an ear infection so I don’t really know what’s a pregnancy symptom and what’s just me being sick/on antibiotics. I do have intermittent cramping and mild nausea. The upside is that I have a lot of energy and I’m happy to have a place to interact with others since we’re not sharing with our families just yet.
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone, I'm Samantha. I live in the Midwest and am 31.
Due date? 5/13 based on conception (my periods have been all over the place since DS2 so I don't know what my cycle length is anymore)
How did you find out? Was almost positive it wasn't going to happen this past cycle. Was feeling a bit wonky and was in a wedding on Sunday, so I was going to test to eliminate pregnancy so I wouldn't have to worry about not drinking and it came back faint positive with a cheapie then got FRER pink dye and digital to confirm.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): 2 boys, DS1 is 3 and DS2 is 11 months. My husband and I have been together for 8 years and married for 4. I work in HR. I enjoy, and have picked back up thanks to a library book app reading quite a bit. As a family/couple, we enjoy hiking, camping, college sports and spending time with family and friends.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Crampy and nauseous off and on. Tired, but we have had a VERY busy past few weeks. I was in a wedding this past Sunday and this upcoming Saturday, so pregnancy symptom or just a few late nights, who can tell.
Re: Introduce Yourself Here! Welcome to May 2023!
Fortunately, none of that is happening now. So far this feels a lot like my pregnancy with my DD, so I have high hopes. (And just like my pregnancy with her, I got my BFP on a weekend and had to wait a few days to call my provider.
Looking forward to meeting all of you!
How did you find out?: My period was due today, Saturday, but I took an early test on Wednesday and was shocked to turn it!
I also have a doxie mix dog who we rescued two years ago, that is being very clingy ever since my +
I have been married for 3 years this October, although our wedding wasn't until last October because of Covid.
How did you find out?
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I have a very loving and sassy 5 year old and a sweet 1.5 year old, both girls ❤️
My husband and I have been married for 6 years.
My due date is somewhere around may 2
This will be my first kid. My boyfriend is a professional snowmobile rider and we have one dog.
Morning sickness comes and goes throughout the day and super emotional
Due date? 3 May 2023
How did you find out?
Lol
Spouse/partner?):
We have a cattle dog named Oscar!
Idk.
Spouse/partner?):
My husband Steven and I have been together 4 yrs and married 2 yrs.
Hi! I’m Erin, 41, from Upstate NY
Due date?
May 2
How did you find out?
We've been trying for awhile and I usually test around 10dpo.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I am a tattoo artist and my husband works in IT. My husband and I have been married for 17 yrs, we have a 10yr DS and 2 cats.
Due date? Early May
How did you find out?
So, hello! ❣️
And some on and off nausea and aversion to certain foods (particularly sweets, which is weird for me)
Glad to be here with y’all!
I am 4w5d
EDD is May 16, which is also my birthday! i started taking tests and got my first faint positive at 9DPO.
i am feeling mostly okay but tired and crampy, and some RLP type pains when i laugh really hard.
Hope I get to stick around with you all ❤️
My due date is May 12 approx.!
Lovely to meet everyone!
DD #2: May 2020
Baby #3: EDD May 2023; MC October 2022
Spouse/partner?):
I live with my partner and dog in PA.
Due date: May 8 (based on LMP)
My husband and I have been married almost three years and we both just turned 30 this summer. We decided it was a good time to start trying since it can sometimes take a while. I got pregnant in our first month trying - we couldn’t believe it. I’ve taken a test almost every day just to remind myself this is actually happening. Feeling very blessed and excited.
We own a dog who we treat as our fur child and both love to be active.
Symptoms are all over the place. Some cramping, some days I feel nauseous, some days I’m exhausted, and definitely have had some mood swings.
I’m Ash 😊
I’m a 32 yr old mom of one 13 yr old and have an EDD of 5/5 (based on my last period) or 5/9 (based on my first US)
I am considered high risk right now because my son was born 8 weeks premature.
Due date? May 11
How did you find out? 3 days late (very unusual for me) took 2 at home tests- both were positive…have an appt with my OB next week!

Cautiously excited
I'm 31 and this will be my first pregnancy.
Due date is sometime around May 8th

According to a few sites my due date is somewhere between May 7th and 11th.
I was waiting to test until after my FMP but realized the box of tests I had were expired. I decided to take one instead of throwing the box out. Honestly, I was expecting it to say negative.. I was wrong and definitely skeptical. I grabbed a few more from the store and they were all positive.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Crampy and nauseous off and on. Tired, but we have had a VERY busy past few weeks. I was in a wedding this past Sunday and this upcoming Saturday, so pregnancy symptom or just a few late nights, who can tell.
