Hi ladies! My name is Debi. I just recently found out I'm expecting. I haven't seen my ob yet but according to my lmp I should be due around May 24th which happens to be DH's bday! I look forward to getting to know all of you. I am sure I will have loads of questions as I have not been pregnant for 17 years 😲. The symptoms I am having are fatigue, sharp shooting pain in my left breast and an all over ache and heaviness in both. I just recently started having a pulling sensation on the left side of my waist and mild cramping. All of them always freaks me out tbh. I haven't found any aversion to food, but I have a few cravings and always feel the need to find a snack. I wish all of you the healthiest of pregnancies.
Hello I'm Skye! I'm almost 29 and this is my fourth baby.
Due date? May 3 based on LMP but I suspect a little earlier due to early ovulation.. Were going to get an ultrasound around 13 weeks to get a measurement.
How did you find out?
Got a positive on CD 19 After two negatives days before on target up&up brand. I knew I was positive based on symptoms. Got my positive on a Clearblue. My husband was having a really tough day at work and I couldn't keep it to myself but it ended up turning his day around.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Been with my husband for 12 years, always wanted a big family. We have a 5yo, almost 4yo, and a 2 yo. My husband is in ministry and I work part time as a cashier at a local store in the evenings.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Might be a fourth baby thing but I've been hit with allllll the symptoms. Varicose veins, heartburn, nausea, fatigue, hormonal emotions, and the latest-my wisdom tooth is descending. Thats got to be the worst of them all, my mouth is in so much pain. I'll be the first to tell you though, it's all worth it.
Introduce yourself: Hi Everyone, I’m Carolina. I’m 8wks pregnant with twins!
Due date? May 2023 - not 100% sure on the date
How did you find out? I did a home test. About two weeks after I thought I was m/c and got my ultrasound done. Found out I was not having a miscarriage and was actually pregnant with twins! Still in shock but feeling blessed at the same time. They are about a day apart in size and hr are in the 150s range.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have a 3 y/o son <3 I work as a therapist (mental health/children). I like to paint, go on walks, and spend time with family. My partner as I are figuring things out at the moment.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I feel tired all the time. Nauseous but not throwing up, yay. I’m having a hard time focusing on work (paperwork not clients). Still a little in shock but excited.
Introduce yourself: my name is Nikki I’m 30 and this is my 9th pregnancy. I’m a stay at home mom with 2 living children.
Due date? May 11th-15th. I don’t ovulate regularly so we go based off baby’s size.
How did you find out? I’m a serial tester so I test every 2 weeks. I believe I was 3 weeks when I found out. We also did an early gender test to try for fun. According to the test we are having a boy. Waiting to see if it’s true or false. But we’re just happy with a baby to come home with.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m a stay at home mom, I use to have a custom cookie business but I took a long break after my last miscarriage. I have been with my husband for over a decade. TW* we have 2 living daughters ages (7) and (5) and we have 7 angels. This baby has made it passed our worry zone so I believe it’s going to stick. I love crafting, baking, party planning and enjoying family time.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I have severe morning sickness and am currently being monitored 🤞🏻for no iv fusions. I am terrified and happy we’ve made it this far. This will be our last pregnancy, so we’re hoping for a healthy baby to take home. I can’t let my mental health diminish for myself and my families sake with anymore loses. So each day that passes with spotting I have a mini heart attack each time. But at each ultrasound hearing or seeing the heart beat is reassuring.
Introduce yourself: hello everyone I'm izabella and I'm 22
Due date? according to when I think I conceived, may 10th
How did you find out? I thought I had a lingering stomach bug when I couldn't keep anything down, so I went to the ER, asked if I could be pregnant, I said I wasn't sure (just had a miscarriage about a month before), took the pee test and it was confined that I am pregnant.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): this is going to be my first child, but second pregnancy, I miscarried at about 12weeks, not even a month before I ended up pregnant again. not currently working, as this nausea/ vomiting has been borderline debilitating lol.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? my emotions are all over the place, I have a history of anxiety and depression which are being greatly exacerbated by the hormones and symptoms, I've been feeling very mentally and physically hijacked, so it's been a hard couple of weeks. I finally have my 1st ob appointment tomorrow, so she will be informed so I can get some relief. it's all been very nerve wracking since this is around the same time I miscarried, and I still haven't gotten any confirmation on the babies health, the waiting has been hard, I'm just trying to keep positive.
I'm glad to have found this, I really need some community of women who understand what I'm feeling and going through cause I've really been feeling lost and alone.
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone! I’m Lindsey, 29-year-old first timer.
Due date? May 7th
How did you find out? I waited to test until 5 or 6 days after my missed period to be sure, and here we are.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband and I have been married for 4 years in Nov. We recently moved to Northern VA from Cleveland OH for his residency in family medicine at Ft Belvoir (he’s USAF). I was working as a hospice social worker but am currently coaching high school cross country and will coach indoor track this winter! We really enjoy being active and outdoors. I also am getting back into the habit of reading and recently finished This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub, which I related to as I lost my dad at the end of 2021. I recommend it.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’ve been very lucky to not have much nausea. I feel tired but am also still running with the team which probably contributes. Next appt. is next week for the nuchal translucent screening.
We announced to our families last weekend which was really exciting!
I'm Joy, I'm thirty eight and my husband of three years is fifty. I have three bonus kids (24, 22, 17) and a two year old granddaughter.
We had to do IVF and after several rounds got pregnant. We did an at home test (well 6) and then an official blood test with the clinic.
Due date is May 12, three days before my birthday.
I am an attorney, I work as a prosecutor. My husband is an engineer.
I have ALL the symptoms. Fatigue, nausea all the time but the worst at night, sore breasts, heartburn, gas, headache, achy legs, and everything else you can imagine. So ready for the second trimester.
I am so glad I'm not the only first time mom in my late thirties! We call the baby Obi-wan because it's our last hope.
Hello everyone my name is Sierra. I'm 26 and pregnant with my first.
My due date is May 12th
I found out I was pregnant kind of by surprise. My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary in September and have been trying to get pregnant for a few months so I was taking test pretty regularly and they were all negative. Then I stopped for a while and said my body will tell me when I'm pregnant so no use taking all these tests. Then one day I randomly took a test because it had been a while since taking one and to my surprise it was positive. I wasn't having any symptoms at the time so I didn't think it was true but 6 tests later I finally believed it!
We are very excited about our new journey and can't wait to meet our little one!
Now that is been a few weeks since finding out I have definitely been experiencing some symptoms. The nausea/vomiting, fatigue, and loss of appetite are my worst ones so far.
Introduce yourself: My name is Caitlin and I am 26. This is my 3rd pregnancy.
Due date? 5/21

My DH and I have been married 4 years and our DD is 5. I currently work in insurance.
We love to go to concerts as a couple and hiking/camping as a family.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? The fatigue and nausea this time around has been worse than with the other two.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have a stepson who is a teen and an incredibly supportive hubby. We have 3 dogs and an old bitty cat.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Anxious! I’ve already had 1 trip to the ER for heavy bleeding and they don’t know what caused it. Baby is ok but I’m now even more paranoid.

Hello all! My name is Alicia, and I am expecting for the first time. I will be 37 when the baby is born. We are due May 1.
I had been dealing with a very irregular cycle my entire mature life, and kind of just left it it up to chance. I had been off of the pill for 4+ years and kind of thought it just wasn't in the cards for my husband and myself.
I did a home pregnancy test on Sept 1, and it was positive! I decided to take one because I was full of rage at work, more than the normal frustrations of things not going right. I had started my current job in May and had synced up my cycle with my office mate, so when I felt myself being irrationally angry I asked her if she had her period and she said it had come and gone so I figured I would take a test!
I was shocked when it was actually positive! When my husband got home from work he asked how my day was and all I could do was show him the test. He, too, was very surprised.
I took another test the next morning and again early the next week and then scheduled a confirmation of pregnancy appointment with my OB-GYN.
The first trimester was monumentally exhausting, but pretty uneventful. I did not suffer from morning sickness, mostly just exhaustion. Now that I am in 2nd trimester, I feel more normal again even though my clothes dont fit and I feel like I am starting to waddle around.
Introduce yourself: I’m 30. First time pregnant. 14 weeks now! I’ve known since the first part of September but now getting to navigate the bump more 😂 I live in GA. I’m a nurse that manages ophthalmology surgery centers.
Due date? May 31
How did you find out? I took several at home tests
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have 2 dogs- corgi and Boston terrier that have been my babies for years! My husband is a filmmaker here in Atlanta!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? my first trimester was purely exhausting. I felt dizzy and tired all the time nauseous as well but only got a sick a few times.
Now I have spurts of energy but overall don’t have I’ll symptoms 🙃 I’m extremely excited to feel the baby move! Our gender reveal is next weekend!
Kendra here from Colorado. I enjoy singing, photography, being outdoors and gardening in my new home. I work as a digital strategist from home for a large global company. I also love to travel and try to scuba wherever I visit.
My husband is a year younger than me and is a web developer. We love the mountains and happens to be where I conceived on a camping trip celebrating the completion of a huge work project
We do have a fur child. She’s a small Australian cattle doggo who just turned 15! Sleeps a lot just like like me these days but still loves fetch and long walks even if we are at a snail pace these days.
I’m in my late 30’s and this is baby #1. I am beyond late to the party here mostly due to fear of loss given my age and challenges getting pregnant.
At this point close to half way, we know I’m expecting a little boy who appears perfect in every way with all the tests and ultrasounds. I’m extremely grateful and still in shock this is real. For almost the entire first half would not let myself get too excited because of how long I’ve wanted to be a mother but seemed it may not be in my cards.
Baby boy is according to the Drs due on Cinco de Mayo. I can’t wait to have a margarita again lol! I found out because I was late but that’s usual for me along with being irregular. I had so many tests come back negative in this exact scenario I was in awe to see the second faint blue line. I of course did a handful of other tests before going to my OB for official confirmation.
Early symptoms we’re exhaustion and nausea. I also had very sore boobs which continue to feel like my nipples have been electrically wired. Now my least favorite symptom is numbness in my hands. Working from the computer had become especially challenging when I lose touch with my fingers. My belly is definitely showing and I’m preparing to announce now that work knows and everything looks like this is a reality.
Emotionally I’m a roller coaster. I’m usually the rock of our family- rational and strategic. This life adventure has me emotionally terrified and without knowing what to say or do which is totally not normal for me. I’m excited to finally feel comfortable connecting and getting to know my fellow May Mamas! Thanks for sharing so gratuitously early on with quiet little me.
Introduce yourself: Hey! I'm Rylee! I'm 26 and pregnant with my 5th baby.
Due date? May 29th 2023
How did you find out? I missed my period by 3 weeks and decided to test at home and got a positive so I decided to get a second opinion the next day and it was confirmed.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): This is my partner's first baby. I work at a call center during the day and after work I'm relaxing at home watching Netflix or Tubi
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I am in my 2nd trimester so my emotions are leveling out slowly. I haven't gotten any major symptoms
I’m a little late to this but hello! My name is Jasmin. I’m 27 currently in upstate NY and I’m part of the May 2023 club lol
My due date is May 26th
Funny enough my sister and I are both pregnant at the same time (1 day apart) and she had taken a test one morning after being 2 days late (I was 4 days late) and after sending me her test, bought one for me. I had taken it later that night and what do you know.. positive!
I am a SAHM. My bf and I have been together for 7 years now and I have 1 other daughter who’s 5. Also pregnant with another girl! I was hoping for a boy this time but as long as she’s healthy I’m happy!
I was very on edge at first when finding out because I didn’t want another child.. But I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason! Symptoms were mild this time around. I had morning sickness in the beginning and it stopped around 15 weeks, thank goodness! With my previous daughter I was sick the entire time and it was awful 😅
Hi! I'm Carrie Ann, and I'm 22 weeks along 😊 My due date is May 21st, my gender reveal is next week and I am so beyond excited!! As far as how I'm feeling with this pregnancy, it is my first and last. I've been stuck at home with awful AM sickness through the whole pregnancy so far. Physically feeling miserable, but I'm so happy and excited to welcome my baby to the world!! I found out on my 22nd bday, I usually take tests before going out to drink a lot. So I had to change my plans for that night 🤣
Hi, I figure I should post a few times if I want to join the Facebook group! Sorry I'm so late.
I experienced two miscarriages in the past year and a half so I was a little late to download the Bump app and allow myself to get excited! But I start the third trimester tomorrow, so I think it's safe to be excited
Due date: May 19th!
How did you find out: It was weird, I took a couple of tests when I should have been pregnant according to my last period, but I ended up ovulating late I guess so the positive test came a few weeks later. But by then I was almost certain I was.
Tell us about yourself : I have no children yet! My husband is Egyptian, I am American, and we live in Spain! We are excited to start our cross-cultural family. I work at a Christian non-profit, and I will actually take over as the director after my maternity leave is over. I'm excited to juggle being a mom and work! I love to read, bake, and spend time outside.
How are you feeling: I am really excited to welcome our little girl in a few months! I have a little bit of back pain, but I'm trying to stay on top of exercising to keep it at bay. I also don't sleep very well and now have a bunch of pillows on the bed. I usually still wake up on my back at some point! I have to to the 3-hour glucose test, most likely tomorrow, so I am praying I don't have gestational diabetes. I also have a higher risk for preeclampsia, so I'm taking my blood pressure every week. I guess that's what I get for being an "older" mom? I'm only 34 though!

I found out at work after one of my coworkers told me that she spotted brown before she found out she was pregnant and so 2 days before my period i took a test at work and it was positive
Im currently in my second trimester at 15 weeks and 2 days my symptoms were mild in the beginning i was nauseous but now i get hip pains from walking/standing alot and still super tired
Due date? May 31
How did you find out? I took several at home tests
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I have 2 dogs- corgi and Boston terrier that have been my babies for years! My husband is a filmmaker here in Atlanta!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
my first trimester was purely exhausting. I felt dizzy and tired all the time nauseous as well but only got a sick a few times.
My due date is May 21st, my gender reveal is next week and I am so beyond excited!!
I’m due between Mother’s Day and the 18 of may
My bf and I were completely not expecting this at all and for a while thought I wasn’t even pregnant do to a thyroid issue hiding it for 2 months until my doctors did a deeper blood test so yeah finding out was kinda like uhh are you sure moment
I currently don’t work but I do design things like artwork and clothes. I enjoy cooking and all arts and crafts. My bf and I have a dog and a kitty
And feelings wise I’m up and down about everything I suffer from mental illnesses so it’s a challenge sometimes as young as I am I worry I won’t be good enough for my little girl and I’m alone in this town and state I’m all the way in New Haven ct while my family is 1000 miles away in fl all in all it’s hard but I’m thrilled to be a mom just scared
