Hello! My name is Hailey. I am a mother of three. I have two living children and one Angel baby I lost at 38 weeks in 2012. I am an author and have a foundation for pregnancy and infant loss and also am a grief coach.
I just found out I was expecting a couple of days ago! I am about five weeks now. Nervous and excited about this pregnancy. I’m excited to connect with all of you!

Hailey Ricks, I am a wellness coach and am using my past experience (a loss) to help others. It is awesome. I’m glad you’re excited and I wish you & your family the very best!
Hi! I'm pregnant with #2. Just barely in the December group - due 12/28! I'm a school counselor for a couple more weeks then I will be a teacher in an autism classroom. I haven't made an appointment yet because I don't expect I'll have any issue getting in when I start summer break. My first was breech so delivered via c-section, so I'm hoping for a VBAC this time around!
@knottie629ce3399aec2b5d Welcome! I'm hoping for a VBAC this time as well. My second came super fast, I was fully dilated and ready to push within 45 minutes of reaching the hospital.... so no meds. But she was face first so they had to do an emergency c under general anesthesia. My worry with trying for VBAC is risking another under general c. I need to research this more.
Hi all, my name is Erin, I’m 36 and live in Ohio where I work in marketing analytics. My husband and I have been TTC our first for ~4 years and have been seeing a RE since 2019. It’s been a long road for us as we’ve gone through various fertility treatments since 2020 and - caution TW - had two MCs last year. We just went through our first round of IVF with ICSI (retrieval date was 3/31 with 2 5d blasts transferred on 4/5) and I was thrilled to get a positive Beta HCG after what seemed like an unbearably LONG TWW! IVF is pretty precise so my due date should be 12/22. I have been hesitant to join in on the message boards, given the uncertainty of a healthy viable pregnancy for me (MCs really do a number on you!) but feeling more cautiously optimistic after getting to hear a heartbeat at my 6 week U/S last Thursday. (Only 1 HB, the second blast didn’t make it, but so so happy to have one that “took”!!). I go back this Friday for another U/S to confirm viability and that’s when (fingers crossed!) if all goes well, my RE said I will “graduate” to my normal OB-GYN. With years of no success, this is now the farthest we’ve gotten so continuing to hope this is the time it works for us! Really glad to get to meet everyone on here and have a place to connect with other moms-to-be :)
Hi Brittany! I'm 25 with my first baby as well. Everyone has me worried about making it through the first trimester too. Honestly I had no idea how common miscarriages are. I feel a bit better now that I have had my ultrasound and they detected his heartbeat which was strong for his age. Hopefully this will help you too when you have yours!
Hi all! I'm Sarah, 25 years old and a project coordinator with a building development company. This is my first time being pregnant and it was quite a surprise. I just moved to DC from Florida this year and now have this to add to my list of big changes this year lol. I'm almost 7 weeks now with a due date of 12/21. I've had my ultrasound already with clinics but now I'm starting the process of getting an OB, which is surprisingly difficult.
Hi everyone! I’m getting to join really late :) I just found out I’m due on 12/31! I’m currently 5 weeks and 4 days. I’m 27 and live in Missouri! I have a 6 year old son as well
Hi! I’m 27. Pregnant with my 2nd due December 15th! I’m a stay at home mom and small business owner. Live in TN with my husband and 3 year old daughter. I’m not hyper attached to this pregnancy yet because it’s so early but I’ll be 8 weeks on May 5th! I’ve been battling HG for the second time now and it’s miserable since I’ve been hospitalized twice now for dehydration.
Hi! I'm Elizabeth. I'm 32 and pregnant with my first. I'm a stay at home farm wife in Missouri. I met my husband in January of last year, got married in November, and I am due December 24th of this year. Everything has happened so fast, but I'm truly excited. I have always wanted to have a baby. I'm nervous of course though.
Hello! I'm 34 and live in AZ with my husband, our 4 other children and 3 dogs! I work fulltime in outside sales management and we have been trying for nearly 3 years for baby #5! I'm still shocked it happened! Our kids range in age from 12 to 4. The oldest is a boy. The other 3 are girls. So everyone is hoping for a boy. I'm hoping for a healthy pregnancy lol
Hi all! I’m 42 years old and 8 weeks pregnant with my first. Due date is Dec 15. I live in Chapel Hill, NC. Excited to be connected with all of you during this exciting experience!!
Hey all, I’m Ali, I’m 36 and from Massachusetts. I’m 6 wks 5 days with my first after three failed IUIs and two failed embryo transfers. Due date is probably about 12/28/22. We put back two embryos this time, so not sure yet if it’s a singleton or multiples! We’ll graduate from our IVF clinic this week as long as everything looks good at our ultrasound. Then next week I have my first midwife appointment scheduled. Excited to be here with you all!
Hi everyone! I'm a little late to the boards. I'm pregnant for the first time at 38 years old. We had a successful IVF frozen embryo transfer. Our due date is 12/31, party baby! Excited to chat with you all through this journey! First ultrasound is Friday (the 13th). Hoping it's a lucky day!
Hey there! I’m 39 and from St Louis. I’m due 12/21 with our first baby after struggling with infertility for over 8 years. We were down to our last two embryos, decided to transfer both and then move on with a child-free life if it failed, and finally ended up pregnant! I’ve had two previous losses around the 5 week mark so I’m feeling hopeful that I’ve made it to 8 weeks!
I’m a stay at home wife and run a small farm. We have horses, breed Boxers, and have some chickens!

Hi everyone, I am Megan! I am 30 and from Massachusetts. My husband and I are both teachers and I am wrapping up my Ed.D. for May 2023. It will be a busy few months for us with our due date of 12/12. I am excited be here!
Hello all, I'm Ashes. I'm 35 (I think), married, and living in Kansas. I work in IT. Hobbies include coding (mostly web development), writing fiction, cross stitch, and staring into the abyss while trying to will myself to do one of those things. 🤣 I come packaged with anxiety and ADHD.
I'm 8 weeks along with my fourth child. 😬 Our other three are 13 years old, 4 years old, and 18 months. We'd not been planning to have anymore, actually -- I've had an IUD since the chaos goblin was born, my second IUD, and only because more permanent measures had fallen though.
To say we were shocked about this one is an understatement. 😅 I had the IUD taken out after an ultrasound a little over a week ago, and so far everything looks good, no bleeding, still feeling that joyous-and-also-shitty early pregnancy feeling. My next appointment isn't until May 27th, when they'll do more bloodwork and another ultrasound to see how everything is looking. I'm hoping things stick around -- even if we didn't want more kids, so long as it's viable, I've decided I want this kid.
@ladyofarlington I had a hemorrhage with my last pregnancy at the same time (about 8 weeks) and it had all but cleared up by 12 weeks, no further bleeding afterwards. So, fingers crossed!
Hello everyone! 22 going on 23 here! Expecting December 3 and only slightly freaking out! I am currently single and figuring out how to navigate this unexpected blessing with the amazing support and help from my family and friends. Baby came as a complete surprise from a night of bad decisions but I'm looking forward to meeting them in December!
I love my nerdy things, reading, writing, and gaming (all kinds), and recently have gotten into crafting with embroidery and diamond painting. I also love being outside, I think baby loves it too as my nausea usually gets better out there. I look forward to meeting more people!
I’m Joanna, 36 years old from Miami, FL, and this is my first. My husband and I have been together for 5 years. I received a fertility diagnosis at the age of 35 of premature ovarian failure, which means my ovaries stopped working at a very early age. We did IVF, and are currently pregnant with our miracle baby with the help of a donor egg.
Hi everyone! I'm Liz, 38 from NJ and work in banking, my husband is a professional chef at a banquethall. I'm about 9 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, estimated due date is 12/16! This is mine and my husband's first child together, my other two are from a previous relationship and they are 14 and 16 😬 It feels a little crazy to be back at the starting point. We have been trying for at least 6 years to no avail. I was told that my hormone levels were low and pregnancy, while not impossible, wasn't likely without some medical assistance. As much as we wanted a child together, we had both kind of made peace with it not happening so this was definitely a (happy) surprise. I'm waiting to hear back from my dr office to set up my initial appointment, hoping to get in this upcoming week. I'm excited and definitely a little nervous about this journey. I look forward to getting to know you all. Wishing everyone happy healthy pregnancies ❤️
My name is Rachel Anne Farquharson and I am 37. I live in Squamish, BC and am expecting my first December 16, 2022!
I am an Art Historian and former professional ballerina—I suffered from anorexia for 20 years and so getting pregnant was a long shot for me. But I am and I am so grateful for the resilience of the female body!
Does anyone have good tips for selecting bra sizes as pregnancy advances? I have always had small breasts and now…I am overwhelmed.
Looking forward to hearing more about each of your stories.
Hi I'm Beth I'm 29 and due 12/18. My son turns 2 this month, he was born prematurely due to PPROM and taken emergency c due to placenta previa. I had a miscarriage in Feb and found out we were expecting again mid April. First OB appointment is went well, seeing MFM next month to start progesterone and cervical checks with ultrasound. Hoping for a full term vbac this time around with no NICU stay 🤞🤞🤞
Hi everyone! I’m Sarah from New York. I’m 37 and pregnant with my first. We had the first ultrasound last week and were excited to see our baby for the first time! My husband and I started telling people this week and it’s starting to feel more real. Due date 12/16!
Hi everyone, was waiting to join here until after my first appt, which was today and went well! I am 32 and pregnant with our third! We have a 6 year old and 3 year old and due 12/21. Also have a mini golden doodle at home! Although hoping for my repeat c/s earlier than that I work full time as a pediatric RN! Looking forward to getting to know you all! I joined Feb19 for my son and still take to some of them daily!

Hi Joanna, fellow IVF mom here! Are you still on any meds ? I "graduated" from my fertility clinic but am on Pio for 4 more weeks! Counting down the days until they are over! LOL
Hi there 👋🏽 My name is Nicole. I’m 31 years old and live in South Florida. I am a middle school teacher and I have a 13 year old son. I experienced a loss due to a blighted ovum earlier this year in February. I was so nervous going into my 8 week u/s today, but I definitely saw something in there! There was a little wiggle wiggle. Everything looks good, atm. ☺️ I’m measuring 8w4d and my due date is Christmas Day! 🎅🎄🎁
Hey all, I'm late to the party here. 29, Live in TX. EDD 12/18. I have a 6yo daughter and have an amazing feb16 bump community. I'm divorced from her father and remarried to my husband who has 3 daughters of his own (almost 13, 11 and 10), so we're a house full of girls. We've had several miscarriages so I've been hesitant to download any apps or join any groups. My edd on lmp was 12/11 but that was pushed back after the 1st US, which didn't surprise me because I had ovulated 5d late. But still nerves. I've also had a best friend who had a trisomy 18 baby that was slow to grow on the first few Us, so just so nervous to get excited. Next US is June 2, so hoping that eases my fears, waiting on NIPT bloodwork now too. Thinking of staying team green, but not sure how long my husband will last not knowing
Hey all! This is my second introduction. I started the January group but just had my first apointment yesterday and found my due date got bumped from 1/2 to 12/30. This is our second and talking over options with the hubby after the apointment, I'm pretty sure I'll be scheduling a c-section for 12/26. I was starting to recognize some of the ladies in the January group, but can't wait to make new friends in this group!
Hi everyone! This is my first time posting - like some of the others, I’ve been hesitant to really dive in. TW - we were pregnant with our first late last year and found the fetus had some severe development issue that would lead to a MC in late Jan. Thankfully, our docs told us nothing out of the ordinary on our tests after our procedure so I was cleared to TTC again. We found out we were expecting again in April and have been cautiously excited.
I’m 12 weeks today, all signs so far have pointed to a healthy baby. We’ll find out the gender this week with results of the cell free DNA test. And we go for our US that found the issues with the last baby in two weeks - so please send us all of your good juju!
My name is Kristen, I’m 35 and my husband and I live in PA, about an hour outside of Philly. I fundraise for a national nonprofit and hubby is an engineer. Hopeful for the days, weeks and months ahead and excited to do it with you all!
I'm Lauren. PA, just across from the NY border. 32 and pregnant with first "kept" pregnancy. Due 12/20 and quickly approaching 12 weeks.
Very ambivalent on children and going into this blind as most peers are child free. Was the unwanted only child of my parents and have no contact with extended family. So no support system to speak of. Fun.
Hi! I’m Alex, 35, from Michigan. Due with my second 12/17. My first is 3, will have just turned 4 when baby comes, hopefully!! Both of my kiddos were conceived via IUIs after years of infertility and loss. Been hesitant to join boards and download apps because of my history, but with week 12 starting tomorrow, my belly popping, and the fact that we are telling our employers next week, it seemed like a good time to find some community. Participated a little in the Nov18 board with my first and liked it a lot.
Hi, I’m Emily! This is our second kiddo. I have an 18 month old who is super wild and sweet. So much harder this time around with a toddler! Due date is 12/27. What’s crazy is that my birthday, dh’s bday, and now this lil bump will all be December. Woooo that’s a lot of gifts😂. Anyways nice to meet you all ❤️
Hello everyone. I’m late to the game. I’m Alecia and I’m 31 yrs old. I’m officially 12 weeks pregnant right now with my second. My husband and I had a MC in February.
We live in AL. Been married 3 years. My hubby is a student pastor and I am a nurse.
We just found out we’re having twins 😅 so we’re a little shocked and here to seek advice. These babies are due Dec 22!
Hey everyone! I'm also a bit late to the game. Have been hanging out on the site but just haven't really explored the forums until today! I'm Shauna. 34, living just outside of Hershey, PA with a whole host of critters (3 dogs, a toucan, several parakeets, and some other birds and lots of fish tanks). Husband is an engineer for the Hershey Co and I'm a sports/medical massage therapist. After 3 1/2 years of trying, 2 failed IUIs, and a pregnancy of unknown location that had to be abandoned, I'm finally almost 12 weeks with our first! Just had an ultrasound this afternoon. All is going fabulously and our official due date is Dec 22nd (my birthday!)
Hi! Joining a bit late, but expecting our first Dec. 24th and couldn't be more excited. We experienced a loss in March of this year and were surprised to find out we were pregnant again.
Hi everyone! I’m Alex, I’m 36 and live in SLC with my husband. We originally thought the baby would be due mid-January but it turns out it’s actually 12/25! This is our first and we’re so excited!
