Hi there! I’m Rachel. I’m 33 and living in St. Louis, MO. We just found out we are expecting our first around December 7th (not confirmed by OB yet). It’s very exciting but our heads are definitely spinning with all kinds of thoughts and questions! Haven’t felt many symptoms yet. Mostly a little breast soreness, occasional unexpected tiredness, and confusing stomach feelings of being both hungry and full like others have shared. I also started feeling cold a lot yesterday. Our first prenatal appointment is scheduled for May 2nd so I expect it will all start feeling more real by then!
Hey there! I’m Katie and I’ll be 30 in a few weeks. I’m from Tennessee but we currently live in Bulgaria as missionaries. It’s customary here to not discuss pregnancies until well into your 2nd trimester (if at all) so I’m dying to talk to someone about it.
I got a positive test this past week after being over a week late. From what I can tell my due date is December 6 (although I think it may actually be earlier).
Although this will be my third, I’m just as anxious as the 1st with not knowing much about the healthcare system when it comes to labor and delivery here. We have a 4 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. We couldn’t be more excited!
Hi everyone! Soooo excited to be here. I’m Alyssa and I’m from Ottawa, Canada. My husband and I miscarried almost 3 years ago and have been trying ever since with no luck. We were actually just about to start IUI next month but I felt really sick and decided to test just in case. Just got 2 positives in the last few days and was honestly shocked. Hoping for the best but am definitely nervous - I cramped a lot with my first pregnancy and just started again today. Crossing my fingers!
Hello! I'm Amy from WA. I'm 35 and about 4 weeks pregnant with my first. Our due date according to the app is Dec 18. I've been getting my body and mind prepared for this for a few years now and the waiting on our first OB appointment is so nerve-wracking. I realized that I might be pregnant because I didn't have my usual, very low, PMS symptoms. I was like... Wow things feel great, something is different! My early symptoms are breast tenderness and queasiness. I'm super excited to be there and chatting with all of you.
Hello Good Morning, my name is Susan and im 44, and i have taken 2 at home pregnancy tests and they have come up positive, and also have been using the Accuclear hcg test strips, if im correct and everything is good to go I would be about 4 weeks pregnant, i was wondering on this forum if we are allowed to post pictures of our pregnancy tests to get other peoples eyes and what they see ? That would help me wanted to know if anyone does post these pictures of these tests. Thanks in advance:)
Hello! I'm 39 (but turning 40 in a couple months) and this is my first. I learned I was pregnant last week, several days before I missed my period - I thought we had messed up our timing this month and wasn't going to bother testing so early except I had some weird symptoms that a friend jokingly asked if I was pregnant. I thought, no way! But now I am thrilled. Due Dec 12!
Hey Folks! I’m Mady from Tennessee I’ll be 26 on Easter Sunday…this is my first pregnancy and I’m SO excited! Expecting December 14th. Not sure how I’ll be telling friends and family yet… I also was recently cast in a musical, so breaking the news to the director should be fun 😬🤪 anyway I’m so excited all of you, let’s do this!!
Hi everyone, my name is Kasie and I’m 36, living in WA State. This is my first pregnancy and it has already been a bit of a rollercoaster. Due to bleeding at week 5, we had an early ultrasound that didn’t look promising. We had our follow up this morning and saw the flicker of a teeny, tiny heart! Baby is currently measuring as it should, but I’m still feeling nervous and really hope it sticks. Like I saw someone else mention, I’m also hypermobile and have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, so I’m expecting some “interesting” symptoms as this pregnancy progresses. It’s so nice to meet you all and it makes me feel much less alone seeing that so many of you are in your 30s and 40s!
Hey everyone, I'm expecting my 2nd baby early Dec or LATE Nov. Haven't had my first appt yet. We are both Veterans who live in North Texas, husband (34) works from home and I (31) am finishing my bachelor's in Social Work. We have a 3 year old daughter who is going to be a very jealous big sister. I love movies, true crime, and Animal Crossing.
Hello I've been there. Just try to find something to take your mind off of it. Ask about heating pads or hot water bottle to ease those cramps and try to keep your legs up when you do sit down. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽❤❤❤
Hi! I’m Pamela! I’m 27 and live right out side of New Orleans! My husband and I have a son who will be 2 at the end of June and we are expecting our surprise second baby December 3!
I currently work as an administrative assistant for a graduate program but will be leaving at the end of May to returned back to teaching! I’ll have the summer off with my husband (he’s a teacher) and son and will begin teaching at the same school as my husband in August! We are soooo excited for all of the big changes happening (we found out we were pregnant the day I quit my job!)
I had my first appointment yesterday (4/11) at 6 weeks 2 days and we saw the tiniest bean and heartbeat! ❤️
Hi @peppurrjack! I’d love to trade coping methods, I’m sure we will have a unique set of symptoms to manage over the next 8 months. Keep me posted on how you’re feeling - it’s wonderful to have someone to talk to about hypermobility specifically!
Hi! my name is Brooke, i’m 22 & due with my first dec 18th!! super early and a young mama & barber from salt lake city, UT. my husband and i have been trying for 8 months & have lost one early so i’m also a little nervous but can’t help but get excited!
Hello! I'm a 29 yo nurse living near Boston with my huband and 2 kids. This will be my 3rd pregnancy. My husband and I started trying a few months ago and I had a feeling this would be the month. Started having a feeling of urgency to pee and shortness of breathe yesterday which have oddly been my first symptoms with each pregnancy... took a test last night and got my positive! Only 3wk 2d so super early. Due date is December 26th!
Hello everyone! I am Danielle and I am 26 years old. Me and my boyfriend are expecting our first child. We live in Dallas Texas and have a due date of December 20th. Very excited, nervous, anxious all the feeling possible lol. Looking forward to this journey with y’all and it’s nice to have some support this early on!
Hi there, I’m Nicole and I am 29 and expecting baby #3. I have two sons, ages 10 & 5. I live in North Alabama with my Husband of 11 years. I am currently due December 6th but have my appointment in two weeks and will find out for sure. I am not completely sure when we conceived unlike my last pregnancy, I was spot on! I am hoping my due date is December 8th because my dad passed away almost a year ago and his birthday is 12/8/72 this would be a 50 year birthday present in his honor! We are all also hoping for a girl, which my dad wanted us to have so badly, so I am praying he will bless us! We haven’t told our boys yet but plan to after our appointment! So exciting and nervous!!
Hello everyone! My name is Mitch and I'm in rural Alberta, Canada. I'm 39 and after 6 years of trying and multiple IUIs, we finally got our very first positive pregnancy test after IVF (egg donation). I've never been pregnant before and this is beyond amazing. I'm a crier normally but wow. I'm crying a lot! I'm expecting baby to be around Christmas (SO HAPPY about that) and actually hoping to have baby on my late mom's birthday which is Dec 29. <3 Congrats to everyone else here!!
Hi! Long time, no see. I divorced my first BD 3 years ago and just recently married a younger man (I'll be 40 soon and he's 31), and now I'm about 5 weeks along. BFP Monday! Don't really feel pregnant yet, except for insomnia (which could also be work/stress-related). Saw PCP for DD today and he changed my BP meds. Here's to raw dogging reality for the next 8 months 🥰
Hey everyone! 34 and expecting Christmas day! We have a 10 yo boy, 8 & 6yo girls, and a sweet 2 year old boy who was born on his brother's birthday! This new little nugget was an unexpected surprise for us, but we are rocking the whole parenting thing (and signing hubby up for surgery haha)
Hello All! My name is Latifa, I’m 28 years old and live in Florida. I’m expecting my first little one on 12/1. I’ve always been told it would be extremely difficult for me to conceive naturally, due to having PCOS. I’ve tried multiple times years ago, but I eventually gave up. I am extremely grateful, surprised, nervous and thrilled that it is finally happening for me. I know it’s still super early, but I can’t help but relish in my excitement! I pray that we all will have a safe and healthy pregnancy.
I’m going to York, Maine in June. Right near the second trimester mark. I wish your pregnancy to be a marvelous one. That’s VERT neat that you have great insight into pregnancy and now about to get a whole lot more!
Hi I just turned 23 yesterday and found out this past Tuesday about baby number two. I live in Kansas and edd is 12/9/22. I'm very excited and nervous so far this is a complete 360 from my 1st and is a little harder to keep secret but trying to wait till after having the first ultrasound and hearing baby's heart beat. I'm excited to read about everyone's journeys. This one's a little surprise we weren't expecting things to happen as soon as they did but we are very excited for the new little one to join our family.
Hi! My name is Julie and I live in Buffalo, NY. Im 31 I live with my husband, 18mo old daughter and 2 rescue dogs. I’m currently a SAHM after leaving my LPN job to be home with my daughter. Im also a full-time grad student studying for my MPH and will graduate in Dec. I’ve struggled with PCOS and infertility and it took IUI to get pregnant both times. Will be 7weeks on Easter (EDD is 12/4) and can’t wait to get to know everyone here better!!
Hi y’all! I’m Kayla, 31 and in California. This is my 2nd pregnancy but 1st with my bf. My first baby girl is 6.5 and from a previous marriage. This pregnancy is a little bit of a surprise so feeling lots of emotions right now! This was always the plan down the line but I was hoping for a sparkly ring first lol. I got my BFP after period was only 1 day late because I’m already having food aversions, crying over silly things, and morning sickness.
I’m 4 weeks and due date is roughly December 20th. Can’t wait to share with you all! Two of my best friends already know because I can’t keep my big mouth shut lol.
Hi! I’m 20 yrs old and I live in Delaware as of now but plan on moving in with my bf (in PA) once I have the baby due to some family drama that has come with the pregnancy. This is my first baby and I’m very nervous because it was unexpected but both me and the father are excited ❤️. As of right now I’m due on December 5th but I will get a confirmation on the actual date at my first appointment which is on May 4th :)
Hello! I’m Kirsten, I live in MI and this is my first pregnancy. I am 26 years old, and my husband and I were lucky enough to conceive on our first try! We held off trying for a year while we were waiting for our pandemic Disney trip to finally happen (ya girl wanted to ride some roller coasters! 😂) so I am feeling very blessed that we are going to squeeze in a due date at the very end of 2022. I am 6w3d today, my first prenatal appointment is this Friday! I’m anxiously hoping we get to do an ultrasound even though its pretty early 💙 Nice to meet everyone!
Hello! This is my fourth pregnancy but I've had two miscarriages and one live birth...a baby who is a toddler now at 18 months. A little bit nervous for being pregnant with an active toddler around this time around. I live in Alaska and I'm a scientist. Really excited for this baby and had blood drawn already with HCG levels going up so I'm feeling a little bit more confident after an early loss a month ago. I'm 4 weeks and 4 days and due December 22nd! Feeling lucky to have gotten pregnant so quickly at my age and hoping that everything sticks.
Hi all, I’m 33 & just got a positive test on a digital test today - 2 days before my missed period. My due date is 12/29. I had two losses in a row both at 8-10 weeks - one in august and one at the end of November, so I am very nervous this time around. I have an 8yo & I work as a makeup artist. Nervous to do this again, but excited for the chance of a healthy pregnancy 🙏🏼
Hello! I’m 39 and pregnant with my first. I’m due on 12/25 after IUI#2. I’ve already had my blood work and I go for a 3rd check of HCG later this week. My first prenatal appointment is May 2nd, when I’m 6 weeks. I can’t wait!
Hi! I’m in my mid-late 30s and live in the DC area with my husband and my fabulous 3 year old (O18). I had a chemical in January and am cautiously introducing myself today at 7 weeks, knowing I’m a high risk pregnancy and praying for the best. My due date is 12/06 and I’ve already had several appointments and ultrasounds.
I heard baby’s heartbeat for the first time on Good Friday and it’s giving me a bit more hope for a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. I have a subchorionic hemorrhage that is being closely monitored and I’m on strict rest (pelvic and from exercise). I’m praying it reabsorbs soon and I stop spotting and go on to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. Nice to “meet” you all. I am close with my O18 board and look forward to sharing our journeys and lives together as well!
Hi all! I’m Lauren - 34 from Rhode Island. I’m 4w 2d with baby #2. I’m due December 25. Merry Christmas! We have a 3 year old and, wow this pregnant is already different. No rest between work and chasing around our toddler but, feeling so thankful. Trying to remind myself to enjoy this time - knowing what I know now. Your bump grows fast but, childhood moves even faster.
@mrs-kay929 congrats mama! totally understand your feelings right now. we lost a baby (8w) in February so, getting pregnant soon after is nothing short of terrifying. Hang in there - sending you positive vibes.
Hello! My name is Hailey. I am a mother of three. I have two living children and one Angel baby I lost at 38 weeks in 2012. I am an author and have a foundation for pregnancy and infant loss and also am a grief coach.
I just found out I was expecting a couple of days ago! I am about five weeks now. Nervous and excited about this pregnancy. I’m excited to connect with all of you!
We've been trying for our second one since 2018. We had 9 iui and one FET. That last FET in 2020 resulted in a chemical pregnancy.
We had our second FET after a long needed break April 4 and had a bfn (cheap outdated test) followed by a bfp and then 2 good blood works. Our first ultrasound will be may 5th and dur date is December 21st

Nice to know I'm not alone on here, maybe we can trade coping methods.
I actually lived in WA for five years and moved last fall, so the world is feeling a little bit smaller now.
Congrats on your little bub hanging in there, all my fingers are crossed for you.

It took us three years and the magic of IVF to get our Christmas Eve due date baby :)
