@knottiec592a7edaec8f273 low kicks don't necessarily mean breech. My baby was confirmed head down at my detal echo a couple weeks ago, but I almost exclusively feel her really low because I have an anterior placenta that muffles a lot of other movements.
I feel movement everywhere. This is my fourth baby, and I’ve never been able to tell how they’re situated until my midwives tell me. One pregnancy, by baby was breech at 32 after having previously been head down. I had no idea. At the next appointment, she was back head down. I thought maybe she had turned, but never anything that made me think it was sure (my midwives said to call me if I thought she flipped and they’d confirm and then have me take a walk to try to get her to jiggle down and stay that way).
I wouldn’t worry about it at this point. There’s still plenty of time for the baby to turn.
@fantasyflyte@coldlife2 that's good to know about the baby placement. I only feel activity far down so I assumed breach. Being a first-timer, your comments are helpful. I'll just wait until the doc tells me during the scan and not make my own assumptions.
Okay. I’ve gained a crap ton of weight this pregnancy dude to poor diet and not being able to freaking walk or even do house work. Im 28 weeks today but im measuring 29 weeks. In 2 weeks I get a growth sono for the baby to see how she is doing. Im caught in a circle of doom and I feel like a horrible mom. I am about 20 minutes out from getting my blood drawn for diabetes and im not feeling good about passing it. Anyone else have this happen? This is also my 3rd baby and the other 2 were not even close to this bad.
@cheesecurd13, measuring a week ahead or behind should not be a cause for concern. Concern should only arise if it’s 3 or more weeks in either direction. With one of my babies, I went from measuring two weeks ahead when my baby was sitting high and breech to right on when she flipped and dropped down.
@roothytoothy04 the only thing that comes to mind as a generic concern is this is when hemorrhoids frequently flare up (28 weeks+). Not for everyone of course - they did for me and were super painful. You may want to ask your OB if there is any risk of irritating that tissue through anal sex. I'm a big advocate of keeping up the physical intimacy (yes, it's likely a bit different) with your partner during pregnancy if you are both comfortable and weren't given any specific instructions to avoid by your OB. I hope this is helpful.
Hmm. I felt like I brought a lot of stuff last time that I DIDNT need. You need hardly any baby clothes, the hospital has things for the baby to wear right up until you bring them home. I would bring one or two comfy things for me to wear, especially a soft cardigan or something. But otherwise I’m just gonna wear the hospital gowns this time. You need to do skin to skin so often that it was just easier to be wearing those. Even the soft hospital gown I bought last time didn’t really work for the type of skin to skin the nurses wanted me to do.
Snacks. For sure. And probably some instant coffee for my addicted husband. I brought my pump to the hospital last time. And that isn’t a bad idea if you want some help learning how to pump on YOUR machine. But make sure you’ve sanitized and charged it before you pack it. Otherwise it’s a waste of time. And they have pumps there so you don’t NEED to bring yours if you don’t want to.
Bring something to do. If labor is long or your just waiting for the nurses next checkup it’s nice to have a book or some knitting. But my labor was fast last time and I didn’t do that that often post birth. Just stared at my son. Haha. Babies are amazing. Even when they’re doing nothing (you built that! With your body! Crazy!) anyway hope this helps!
I’m 32 weeks and have been having excessive breast leakage for the past two days, seeping through bras and shirts. I’ve been leaking colostrum for the past couple months and I know it’s not an indication of labor but I’ve been experiencing some other new symptoms as well (increased bowel movements, light cramping/dull aches, some pelvic pressure etc). The leakage has definitely been the most noticeable sign as it’s a massive increase from the few drops I was getting just a few days ago.. anyone else experience this shortly before labor? Thank you!!

It’s very unlikely, unless you’re already high risk for preterm labor. Women don’t deliver babies at 32 weeks unless something has gone wrong.
@marrrrsa nursing bra because my boobs/nipples were killing me. Coming home outfit and blanket for baby- I just used the hospital blankets/onsies/hats/diapers etc while we were there. Mostly just kept baby swaddled in a diaper for easy skin to skin. Our hospital did newborn pictures in the room so I brought a little makeup and a robe to look decent in a few pictures. a long charger cord, Maternity yoga pants, nursing tank and a sweatshirt. I mostly wore the hospital gown bc after birth is messy and it’s easier. The tank was nice to put on when we had visitors but that doesn’t seem to be an option this time around.
My labors were all quick so I didn’t bring anything to do and after i mostly just stared at the baby or tried to nap. We ordered delivery to the hospital when we were hungry/I ate the hospital food and my h ran home to shower and brought us back a few snacks.
Okayyy paranoid mom here sooo go easy on me. I have been SUPER itchy on my hands wrists and calves and randomly in other place etc. It kinda comes and goes but when I wear clothes it’s worse and like right now I’m very itchy. On the tops of my feet and wrists. And even my armpits. I have a baby appointment today so I’ll be bringing it up but has anyone else had this happen and it not be cholestasis????
well my doctor just said it’s most likely from all the swelling. But I’ll just keep an eye on it I guess
Crazy. Yes! Me too!!! I haven't had swelling (so far- thankfully) so we literally have no idea what it is. I was having lots of cholestasis symptoms and the itching is intense so we thought it was for sure. All my tests came back ok on the bile and liver and such tho. I have found that a bath w/ aveeno bath oil and oatmeal treatment every other day at least keeps the itching at a reasonable level. The nausea we haven't figured out either, but Zofran helps with it. This is my 3rd (tho my youngest is about to turn 11 years old) and this is the 1st time I've ever experienced anything like this at all. Crazy.
Does anyone know where the emails are on this website/app? Someone said they emailed an invite to the facebook group. But I can't for the life of me find the messages/emails on this site.
Hello everyone... I just joined the community a minute ago... I have been TTC for 5 months now before that I was on birth controls. I am tracking my bbt. every thing was going well, I Ovulated as usual and than I had this great big "implantation dip" kind of thing my temp went back up and stayed up until 7 dpo... It droped and kept dropping... Now i am 13 dpo , waiting for AF to show its face.
Can anyone please tell me what had happened to me when my temps dropped??? Why did my temp start dropping from 7dpo to 13 dpo???

TB has a TTC board, you might have better luck there with activity!
If there was a temp drop with no spike then it was unlikely an implementation dip. If a test is negative at 13dpo, unfortunately you are most likely out this cycle. Best of luck, I hope you get your baby soon.
I had something like that a while ago, and tested negative for cholestasis. So i stopped eating anything allergic, and changed all my detergents to hypoallergenic ones. Doctor also prescribed me topical benadryl. It was gone after few days. You get allergic to stuff you would never think of when pregnant.

I want to try Anal sex, but worried it could affect my pregnancy (I am 28 weeks). Does anyone have any advice, tips, pros/cons for anal sex?
